Being a tradesmen myself I can recognize the skill, care, and attention to detail taken throughout the entire process. Right from analyzing our needs and requirements during the selection process until the final commissioning of the install. I'd give Acumen more than 5 stars if Google allowed... Acumen installed my central air unit 6 years ago and has done numerous other work for us after some renovations. Chris and Wes are great to deal with, are professional and informative.

What a great company! Our heat recovery unit stopped working. They came in, diagnosed the problem and repaired it. They were very efficient, knowledgeable, and left the place clean and tidy. Plus they have great rates! I've used them a few times (furnace) and their work is always top notch!

I just love it when the randomness of a Google search works out for the best. To my dismay, I came home at 10:30pm to find my 16 year old furnace had stopped working. Within the hour, Chris was in my basement diagnosing the problem. As a single mother of a child with disabilities and on disability myself, I was despondent when I learned I needed a new furnace. That same night, I had an estimate in my email inbox and by morning a visit from Niagara Regional Housing's Emergency Assistance Assessor who confirmed Chris' diagnosis. Chris worked with NRH expeditiously to get my new furnace installed and even brought me space heaters to keep me warm while the approval of funding was sorted out. I am totally in love with his level of service and commitment to doing what is best for the customer. He's my new "go to" guy! I recommend you make him yours!

Acumen exemplifies customer service. Chris, the owner, came out to our house on labour day to fix our air conditioning. When we called he was at our house in under an hour. A couple weeks ago he came out to service a part on our furnace, I called late afternoon and it was fixed the next day. We will only use Chris and Acumen for any of our heating and air conditioning needs. He explains everything in detail and never tries to up-sell you on products. My husband and I are always blown away by how thorough he is at explaining everything when it comes to replacement or service work. We cannot say enough good things about Acumen.

We were in the process of removing a rotting deck and replace it with a smaller one. When the top boards were removed we found that the gas line pipe ran from the house under the deck 12 ft to the other side. We could not remove the deck completely as the gas line was attached at the other end and did not want a 12 ft pipe hanging in the air. I called and spoke to Chris who came out and cut, threaded and capped it until we were ready for the deck to be built, Then he will come back and hook it up when we decide where we want the BBQ. This guy is absolutely fantastic. Chris is very knowledgeable, pleasant, reasonablely priced and just an all around great person. I would recommed this company to everyone. Very very happy. I am also glad that there are other services he handles as I will most definately have him back to do them in the future.

We met Chris at the Niagara home show and asked him some questions regarding a backup sump pump. Chris came to our home and assessed what needed to be done. He was very courteous and professional. The work has been completed and would 100% recommend Acumen Plumbing without any hesitation.

When we chose Chris, we chose right!! Acumen gets a five star from me. Chris was professional yet friendly and he took the time to explain all that he was going to do before the install and after. When he was installing my new AC, he noticed my outside hose had a slow drip. He must carry spares around in his truck because he replaced the old dripping valve with a new one!! No more drips and a brand new AC!! He's up front and HONEST. That's what you want. When I need a new furnace, I won't be calling anyone else for quotes, i will be calling Chris. We have used Acumen twice now and both times we have had nothing but amazing service. Our first encounter with Chris was when our very outdated A/C stopped working on a super hot August day two summers ago... Chris came quickly and repaired the unit explaining in detail what had happened. Our next encounter was replacing said unit along with a new furnace just a few weeks ago. Chris took the time to explain the benefits of all the units, what work it would take etc. He was extremely responsive to emails and was always very professional and very knowledgeable. We are very happy with our new units, Chris’s quality of work and the customer service we received. We would highly recommend using Acumen.

I called Chris upon recommendation from my brother who had his furnace and air conditioning installed. Chris arrived at my house right away for an estimate on the installation of my AC. He was very professional, very informative, explained everything that had to be done, identifying areas that required improvement and efficiencies. I did not hesitate and did not get any other quotes. Wes and Nathan installed the air conditioner, they were absolutely fantastic, very professional, very knowledgeable and they go above and beyond. I would highly recommend Acumen!!!

Professional, courteous, knowledgable and competent. He also gets the gob done in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Acumen for all plumbing and heating/cooling needs. I've use his services twice, once for a laundry tub installation and second time for a water heater installation and was extremely pleased both times. 5 stars out of 5.

Chris is AMAZING!
Me and my mom are clueless when it comes to HVAC business but he explained everything to us in detail. We just bought the house and the lady before us had a very old system so he had to change everything from scratch- he got the job done in ONE day and now we have AC and hot water running perfectly. He also took care of a leak we had without even asking him and his rate was much much less than the other previous technician we had that came to look at it to quote a price. Chris is extremely professional and kind , we almost miss him at our house.

Excellent service. Chris is very efficient and knowledgeable. He has been extraordinary diligent in his response when I've needed emergency help. To date he has fixed a badly clogged kitchen sink, serviced my sump pump, and replaced my A/C and furnace. Awesome service. Very personable!

I called Acumen about an issue I was having with my plumbing. They came next day but advised they didn't handle the issue I am having. This was not their fault. I didn't explain my issue properly when I called. They gave me names of who I could call and the issue is fixed. I highly recommend this company because they were amazing all the way through even though I wasted their time in my opinion which I feel bad about. Highly recommend this company.
