I called Dickinson’s when I was shopping around to get ceiling fans installed and they suggested a cheaper option for me that others didn’t (using power from my smoke detector). They were also able to come by within an hour to inspect my condo to make sure there would be no issues with the job. Within a week, 2 workers came by and installed both fans in less than 2 hours. Everyone was friendly and helpful!

Peter and Daniel came out in an ice storm to replace my meter and riser in freezing rain after it had been ripped off by a downed tree. They got the job done in the same day and we very concerned about our loss of power. I would use them again in a heartbeat for any future electrical work.

Tristin did an incredible job. He offered expert opinion on my new outlet so that I could make an informed choice. He was fast. I was very impressed by how quickly he finished the job. He also found time to advise me on a separate hobby project I was looking at and helped me find a part I needed. I can't imagine that Dickinson Electric has any better technicians than Tristan. He's the standard I'll hold other electricians to going forward.

Since we moved back to Beaverton approximately six months ago. We have had need for electrical work twice, first to install a home EV car charger in my garage (70 amp circuit), and then a second time a week ago to replace some high ceiling light fixtures (17ft ceiling), add some smart dimmer switches and add a new 220v electrical circuit / outlet for a new range (crawl space work). I initially found Dickinson electric by searching online and scrutinizing reviews carefully. Dickinson stood out with predominantly great reviews. This mirrors my experience with the team at Dickinson. They responded quickly, quoted the jobs fairly and were always on time. During the course of the two jobs, I think I have worked/ interacted with most of the team, from Peter (owner) to Eric, Michael and Tristan. They were all easy to work with and talk to, they asked good questions about what our needs were, and what the priorities were. Lastly they executed the work quickly, professionally and skillfully. I will use them on any future jobs I have and highly recommend them.

Peter, Tristin and Gannon worked on our electrical problem today. They were excellent. I was going to work on this myself, but I was glad that I did not and had sense enough to have these professionals do it. What might have taken me a week or more (as a DIY project), they did in about an hour and a half.

They found the defective receptacle that was interfering with the circuit, replaced an old GFCI receptacle, replaced the receptacle that was causing the problem, replaced a faulty circuit breaker and checked to see if we had power to a dishwasher. I was impressed and appreciated how smart they are and were able to do all of this quickly and in a friendly way. It was worth it, to have them do this work. It was money well spent.

Dickinson Electric is the absolute best!! My experience from start to finish was perfect!! I first spoke with Peter on the phone and he was polite, professional and very helpful. Today Michael came to do the work. He was also very professional and courteous, explaining everything along the way. Michael really paid attention to detail and his work was spot on. Tristen and Eric showed up in the estimated time window and did the installation of my 2 ceiling fans efficiently. We had a great experience with Dickinson. From the friendly first encounter for the estimate, to the final completion and cleanup, it was an easy experience. Tristan and his crew were courteous and flexible throughout the day working to install multiple outlets, ceiling fans and outdoor floodlights to our enclosed patio. He took on every challenge with a smile on his face and thoughtfully explained options with the positives and negatives of each so I could make informed decisions. I will gladly hire them again for any future electrical needs I have. They are courteous, fair, thorough, hard working, and timely. Everything I could hope for in a contractor.

Dickinson Electric is an excellent company with an amazing team of electricians, one of which is Michael. From initial contact with setting up an appointment to completion of the jobs went effortlessly. Michael is wonderful at his passion. It is evident that he loves finding the problem, explaining the issue, and fixing the issue quickly. With his stellar communication skills and passion and efficiency at finding the “issues” and I can only envision more homes and business humming happily with safe electricity. Tristan solved my issues quickly and was upfront with very reasonable prices. He was polite and answered all my questions. What I thought was going to cost me $500-1000 was about $400. Replaced several light switches and all of my GFCIs.

The first time Michael and Brian did some work for us it was to correct some errors a previous electrician made. They were fast, efficient and friendly. So when we ended up purchasing an electric car we, of course, called Dickinson again. Peter was able to schedule quickly and I was delighted to see Michael and Brian arrive at my door. They made short work of the list we had in addition to the installation of the EV charger. They provided consultation and feedback on placement of the charger and answered all my questions, which were numerous as I was anxious about transitioning to an electric car. Michael even taught me how to change out a light box on my own and when he noticed my indoor cat was in the open garage as they were driving away, called to let me know so I could go grab the little escape artist. :)

Needless to say, I highly recommend Dickinson and will definitely have them back should we need more electrical work.

I called Dickinson Electric on a Saturday about a sudden issue I was having with my electricity and they were super accommodating and showed up on the following Monday. Peter was very amiable and reassuring about the troubleshooting that would be done. Michael was the person that came over and he was very thorough and detailed with what I was experiencing and went ahead and fixed the issue and also run a test to see if everything else in my home is working well from an electrical point of view. Would highly recommend for any electrical needs.

I had Peter and his crew help me rewire a home in Hillsboro that was part of a real estate transaction. They made sure everything in the home worked perfectly and passed all inspections. Most importantly they came in right at the bid price. No surprises.

Had a great experience working with Dickinson Electric! Tristin replaced our old FPE panel very quickly, and we were only out of power for a few hours. The inspector was impressed with their work too, and we had zero problems passing the inspection. Will definitely use this team again in the future

Not all great jobs need to be big! Needed a recessed outlet installed so I could mount a digital calendar to the wall. Called Dickinson’s and they sent Michael out. I cannot say enough about how respectful, knowledgeable, and understanding he was with what we were trying to do. Originally wanted it mounted vertically, and he allowed me to draw what we were doing on the wall which made me change my mind for orientation which in the end will result in a better product once I get everything mounted! Thanks Michael and thank you Dickinson’s. I will be calling you for all my electrical needs!

I experienced good old fashioned excellent service from Dickinson. When Peter came to bid the job I was confidant I picked the right Company. We had many lights, dimmer switches, sockets installed and a gas to electric range conversion. Michael's suggestion for kitchen lighting turned out amazing and I would never have thought of it. They are priced fair for their work. They made great effort to assure I was satisfied every step along the way. I will be using Dickinson for all my electrical needs. Michael arrived as an electrician and left as a friend.
