Great work ethic, Albert is top notch. Crew was fantastic. Showed up on time, tree removal went great and cleanup.

We hired Chozen Gardens to trim our approximately fifty-year old hemlock tree. The tree branches out into two trunks, which can be problematic, so one of our objectives was to make sure our tree remained safe in a wind or ice storm. Before hiring Albert and his crew, we obtained four estimates. What stood out about Albert was his honesty, generosity, and knowledge of trees and plants. He was also not a salesman, but very genuine. We are happy with the results. Albert's quote was also very competitive. Under Albert's supervision, his crew put up a cobra cable to keep the two trunks from splitting apart in a wind storm, raised the canopy, and removed all the dead and criss-crossing branches. Albert and his crew also did a good job of cleaning up. Although the job was bigger than he estimated, Albert insisted in not charging us more than what was quoted. My wife and I like to tend to our own yard and garden, and Albert was very kind and generous with his advice about how to maintain our existing plants. We appreciate his honesty and his and his crew's skill.

We had three birch trees on our property we moved into that were diseased. Albert and his crew at Chozen Gardens were very accommodating and timely. They did excellent work, ground the stumps, and left it very tidy afterward. Would highly recommend to anyone needing tree work done!

Albert is knowledgeable, communicative, extremely helpful, and personable. Albert promptly responded to my calls and texts. He quickly provided an extremely reasonable quote for trimming an overgrown laurel and redwood tree. He provided thoughtful and thorough answers to all my questions. His crew skillfully trimmed our overgrown laurel tree and huge redwood tree and left no mess behind. His team was courteous, thorough, and professional. We had a great experience working with Albert and the Chozen Gardens. We needed to remove three large trees, grind the stumps, and repair the sidewalk damaged by the tree roots. The bid was competitive and better than if doing tree and concrete work by two different companies. It was very convenient to have a single contractor for the entire project. Albert is very nice, easy to deal with, and very open to help, and his team is great too. I would highly recommend this company.

We have a tree that's been slowly dying and Albert came out and inspected it and spent a lot of his time trying to help save it. We've taken his advice and if it does turn a corner and begin to get better, it's solely due to Albert's help. I had a pretty thick tree branch that started to lean on my fence and pop out the fence planks. Chozen Gardens was able to get the crew out to me that same day. They were honest about the estimate and recommended taking out some branches that was at risk of getting too long. Since Chozen Gardens does fence work. They also investigated that the type of repair on the fence would be a simple one. I appreciate their honesty and definitely planning on using them on my next Tree Service.

Would highly recommend Albert and his team without any reservation! We've had a great experience working with them first for deck staining and repair after seeing the great job they did with our neighbor's deck and most recently with assessment and removal of a large cedar that was damaged after a storm. They were timely, efficient, and easy to communicate and work with. For both projects, we could tell that they value and stand behind the quality of work they do. Giant Bay Laurel removed! Albert was quick to give an estimate at a good price. Work completed in about half an hour with care taken to protect surrounding plants.

Albert did amazing work planting 6ft emerald arborvitae. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and worked very efficiently! He was able to tackle the tough soil in our garden effortlessly and made sure to plant the trees with care, with the right spacing, amended soil, and at the proper height. I really appreciate that people provided those honest and detailed reviews, helped me make right decision on choosing Chozen Gardens for removing big trees in my front yard, then they helped with planting 50 big laurels, and irrigation projects for my half acre garden later. As the business owner, Albert has sufficient knowledge in his professional field and other aspects, he is more like a good friend or neighbor, always willing to provide professional and helpful solutions directly, he and his crews have been communicating and working efficiently.
I was impressed that we had a few frustrating moments about the irrigation due to some old issues which were not their fault, they never gave up, tried best to fix problems quickly. I think I will always remember, I talked about some special stuff for my yard, such as mushroom spawn, evergreen climbing flowering plants,good soil, some garden tools, etc, Albert helped me get them in one day, and taught me how to take care of them.
I trust them not only because they are a professional team but also because they're always there for helping me out with everything they can do, so I would highly recommend them.

The crew arrived precisely on time, and I was immediately impressed by their professionalism, speed, and efficiency. They tackled a massive amount of yard debris – over 20 arborvitae, along with several hollies and maples – and expertly chipped everything on site. It was amazing to watch them work. They hauled away every last bit, leaving my driveway spotless. Not only that, but they were so considerate that they didn't bother any of my neighbors during the entire process.

Albert came out to our house twice to inspect the tree before we committed to having the work done and talked through different options. We decided on removal. We had two trees removed with stumps ground. One of the trees was huge and located right near the fence and patio cover and I was surprised all that broke was once fence board, which they repaired for us the next day. Really pleased with the work!

Where do I begin?

1. Albert is EXTREMELY responsive and communicative. I am a mom of two young toddlers so I usually only get free time in the late evenings. It was always a pleasant surprise to send Albert an email and receive a reply within 5 minutes! And as mentioned by other reviews, Albert knows his stuff. I know nothing so I trusted Albert on all of his suggestions on how to make our yard look beautiful. He showed me pictures of various options and that was helpful!
2. He and his team are VERY kind, hard working, and respectful of your space. We had a few different things done to our backyard (tree trimming, root grinding, and landscaping). There were 3-4 people who worked on our yard and each of them were SO nice. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was exactly how it was prior to them coming in. No messes!!
3. The work they did is beautiful! We have received so many compliments on our backyard from friends and family. I never was a tree, plant, or flower lady but now I find myself staring into my backyard and wondering how each of our plants, bushes, trees, flowers, etc. are doing!
4. Lastly, Albert cares about his work and what he does to your home. The week after install we were leaving on a trip for a week. Bad timing as the landscaping needed extra love to ensure it was getting settled (sorry, I don't know the right terminology). Unfortunately, we were not there to see if the drip, which we had Albert's team install, was also running okay. When Albert checked in on us, I told him we were out of town so I was unable to report back on how the plants were doing. This is when Albert offered to go check on it for us. He ended up making a few tweaks to the drip and came back another 1-2 times while we were out of town to water/check on the plants. I mean...come on! Could he be any nicer??

So all of this to say, we are very happy with Albert and have appreciated all his help in sprucing up our backyard space!
