Update 11/23: I appreciate that he communicates clearly and will discuss my project to determine if he can help. I recently asked about pouring concrete in the alley by my house and they don't currently provide this service, but the company he recommended was affordable and did a truly outstanding job. Chris Long is a great handyman. Not only does he have the skills to get the jobs done, he does quality work. What sets him apart from other trades-folks is his professionalism. He answers his phone and when he can't, he returns his calls within a couple hours. I've called him several times. He's never missed an appointment and he has always been on time. These days, that's exceptional. He's fixed my running toilet, installed many light fixtures, dimmer switches, shelves, patched some drywall, installed hard-wired smoke detectors.

We blew a fuse upstairs. Flipped breaker box switches. No power upstairs. He even suggested another company for assistance. I chose Chris.

He returned my calls as I was trying the breaker box again. He suggested I take a picture of inside of box. He could see different switches which I had not tried. I flipped them. Problem solved. All this was done over the phone! No charge!!

Chris is the best handyman I have ever had . He is easy to work with. Listens and gives conscientious honest advice. Great customer service. Don't hesitate to use his service.

My wife and I had Chris over to replace three fans in our home, and he was amazing. Professional, thorough, fast and friendly. He impressed us especially with making sure that the fans were venting properly through our roof and he even took out all of the packaging to the recycling. We will definitely continue to use Long's in the future for any handyman services.

Longs Handyman Service was contracted by our management company to clean out the dryer ducting and vent. The technician was courteous, respectful and left the laundry room cleaner than before he arrived. He also pointed out that there are no louvers on the exit vent on the side of the house. That information was relayed to the management company. Absolutely no complaints here. Recommended.

We call Long’s for just about everything now. Ryan did a great job installing new bathroom sinks and fans! Chris is helpful and responsive. He saved our siding from woodpeckers by installing a decoy owl. We’ve been impressed by both the scope and the professionalism of their work. So glad we found these guys!

Chris is fantastic to work with, he offers very fair prices, super responsive, easy to work with and wonderful work. I have had my share of using GMs and Handyman services and I have to say that Chris is the best.

He does the work fast and with such a friendly attitude, I'm genuinely impressed. There was a leak in our home that neither the plumber nor the water remediation company was able to detect, and Chris was able to find it under a minute. He answers most of his calls and if he doesn't answer, he will get back to you within minutes or a couple hours. Chris is always on time for appointments too and he calls the night before.

Long's was able to solve a dryer vent problem we had after the installation of a booster fan from another company. Thanks so much - you guys are great!

Never in a million years did I think I'd be writing a review about dryer vents, but here we are. I had Long's over for a dryer vent cleaning, and they showed me the crazy amount of lint build-up. It was one of those 'oh wow, this could've been bad' moments. They did a thorough job cleaning it out, and I'm super grateful. It's been ages since anyone checked it, and they probably saved me from a fire hazard. Definitely worth getting yours checked if it's been a while.
