I can't comment on the work, but he poorly handled the appointment/conversation and never showed up for an estimate. He asked me to text him to schedule to meet, so we scheduled the meeting. Then he texted me a day before the scheduled time, saying he doesn't work on insurance claims. I told him that was fine, but I asked him what's the difference. I would need to get the damage fixed regardless of whether it's for the insurance claim. It didn't seem right that he didn't want to show up because I disclosed that it was for insurance. He didn't ask me that question when we were first connected. Then he later texted me that he would swing by and provide the estimate if I still wanted the estimate. I asked whether he intended to show up on the scheduled date/time (11 am). He later replied that he was busy with work, but he would stop by around 5 pm, but he never stopped by or texted me to inform the change. I wasted the entire day and my schedule waiting for him.

Mark is an excellent handyman, very experienced and innovative. He helped us do work on a home we were trying to sell. His knowledge in almost everything related to construction/repair is vast and the worksmanship is detailed. I’d definitely recommend.

Great work. Chris showed up before time, was knowledgeable, efficient, and solved our problem. We'll have him back.

We have used long handyman service for this for many projects within our home. Their work is always excellent and their cost is reasonable.

Pretty much agree with what all the other one star reviews say: they don't stand behind their work and they're rude. I can't imagine who would give them a legitimate five-star review. There are better options out there

Very rude and unprofessional! He basically yelled at me for wanting to talk to my property management company about a leak that he was going to take over a week to look at. Apparently it's not the first time he's treated clients this way.

Chris was very responsive and worked seamlessly with my tenant. I was able to coordinate a bunch of fixes remotely.

Ryan was on time, was very personable, repaired everything perfectly and quickly, and even tolerated my three Labrador retrievers. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I have used Longs Handyman service for over 10 years. He is always on time, has good rates and does an incredible job very fast. He seems to be able to do just about anything.

I told him in text and over the phone what I needed, he shows up and says he won't do it. He was incredibly rude and had an attitude since he walked in the door. He was rude over the phone too so I should have known, but I waited a month since he was so booked up, and it's obvious he didn't want to do anything I asked him to. I ended up asking him to leave because his entire attitude was awful. I'm pissed because I woke up early and everything just for him to waste my time.

Very Happy with the ability to schedule quickly and have always had reliable service for over 15 years now. Longs is always available to answer questions regarding my projects.

Lots of communication problems. One time came out to install flood lights but can’t go up on ladders. Other time wanted a full replacement on water damage and got shoddy repair and kept doubling down on the doing it how they did it. Do not recommend

I’ve heard from 3 different people that this guy does great work - and I’m sure he does. But trying to communicate with him on the phone was so difficult that I had to go find help somewhere else - he was far more interested in being right than in actually solving my problem and he was a terrible listener. If you’re ok with having to repeat yourself and dealing with his condescending nature, I’m sure the services he provides are really great.

Chris is very responsive and his work is always spot on. He did many different jobs at our condo association and all were done well.

You will get nothing but perfection from these guys. I have been using them for years. They also almost always will show up pretty close to the time they say. I have hired some that are many hours late but not these guys. Give them a call and you will not be disappointed.

Had exterior trim replaced by them about a year ago. Work has held up poorly. Pillar trim has come apart, incorrect quality lumbar used, caulking has not held up. Would not recommend for exterior work.

We have used Long's Handyman Service for years and have always been pleased with their work. Chris and his team can fix most things, but he will tell you if it is outside of his scope.

We contacted our apartment about a mold problem under our sink.They called Longs Handyman Service to come take care of it for us. Their solution was to glue pieces of a rubber membrane over parts of the mold. None of the mold was even ever removed. When we asked if the mold would keep growing under the rubber we were told "I don't know, I'm not a carpenter". When we pushed back and mentioned we preferred a different solution, Chris became irate and threatened to tell our apartment manager that we were refusing service. After they glued down the rubber membrane, we ripped it out and made the repairs ourselves.

Really disappointed - Chris seemed great over the phone. Then the morning when he was supposed to do the work he called and said his GPS took him to the wrong address, and he was "giving up" because I lived too far away. I explained that he was actually only 10 minutes away and that it was very simple to get to my house, but he refused. Pretty disappointing after I waited 3 weeks for him to come out and do the work.

Ron did a great job on my small job replacing a GFI outlet! He drives the black van and comes down from Longview, WA. I've seen the van in my neighborhood and knew he would be a trusted service person! Thank you!

Chris is awesome! Polite on the phone. Booked an appointment for me within a reasonable time period. Called the night before to confirm. Did the chores I needed. His rate is completely reasonable. He's efficient and knowledgeable. I recommend him to anyone.
