Wouldn't help me or even give me an estimate based on the fact that the work I needed to have done was in a church sanctuary, and when I asked why, Robert (the owner) said that he won't do it for "personal reasons".

I called and made an appointment with Creative Carpet Repair for a small repair patch job. I received a quote of $149-200.

However, today they sent out a company called Carpet Savers without explaining to me that they don’t themselves come out to do the job. They contract the work out to someone else.

When the technician arrived I asked for an EXACT price before he would start... he said that his boss Robert told him to call him for pricing. 🤔

The owner, Robert told him to charge me a whopping $300!! I objected and explained my conversation with Creative Carpet Repair regarding the cost.

Immediately I dial Robert... no answer. The technician suddenly and on the spot and without calling Robert for approval then offers to reduce the price by $100. Hmmmm... A moment ago he had no authority to give me a price for the job but when I politely protested.. all of a sudden he had authority. This seemed very shady and was now another red flag.

In the end... Josiah did good work but didn't do what I contracted for. I asked for ONLY the small area to be patched. But, he ripped out much more of my GOOD carpet than necessary and planned to throw it away instead of leaving it down and replacing only the small area around it as I asked. Now I have a big long area of remnant carpet that's impossible to disguise while a random piece of my original carpet is not affixed anymore.

I got Robert on the phone as Josiah was refusing to fix the problem. Robert asked me if I had seriously just written a bad review about him on Google. When I replied yes... he said "and now you want my technician to go "above and beyond" to fix your problem?! At this point.. I told him that I no longer needed his service, ended the call and showed Josiah out.

I declined to pay for this service.

I had my carpet repaired with Carpet Savers Northwest yesterday (06/14). I have been already told by another carpet repair company that they do not want to do the work as they felt that people will notice the patch work and would not even give me the written estimate for the repair. When I called Carpet Savers, it was totally a different experience that I did not believe at first. My first reaction was how is this person so good to talk to and other person was so rough. Robert was able to give me the appoint in just 3 days. He showed up at the right time and explained all my questions. He gave the estimate which was the less than the verbal estimate that other person gave. He did the work right away. He was able to get one of the repairs done without any patch by stretching the carpet instead of adding a patch as was thought originally. Overall, it has been a great experience working with Robert. I would trust him for my next carpet repair job 100%. I am glad I found someone I can work with. I don't know how their other workers are, but it would could talk to Robert and get personal attention, I feel that you would be happy with the experience. He did say that he answers all customers' calls.

Also, one more thing I noticed is that the other carpet repair company sent a sub-contractor to my house for the repair. He was supposed to call me 30 minutes before he would reach my place, but, he did not. By the time I reach my place, repair person had to wait for few minutes at home and was not happy though it was his mistake. In case of Robert, he called me 20 minutes before he was going to be there. More importantly a company whose owner stays involved and work with customers is much more trust worthy than a company that sends sub-contractors to customers homes.

I had carpet savers replace my downstairs carpet, clean my upstairs and patch a spot upstairs. I also had them clean my HVAC vents and dryer vent. The team did a great job with the install and cleaning. They were efficient, polite and considerate of my home. I am also very impressed with how well the patch turned out. Robert the owner, was very responsive with questions and concerns. Roberts price was also very fair. Most importantly though, It was very clear to me, Roberts main goal for this project was to make sure we were 100% satisfied with the outcome of the project. It is very reassuring to know the owner of the the company has your best interest at in mind. Thanks Carpet Savers! I highly recommend this company.

Fair priced, solid cleaning jobs. The workers are good at what they do. Leave nice pattern in the carpet and a nice smell. They said they can even lower the smell if it's bothersome. They do patchwork and re-stretches. Years of experience between all the workers. Fast too but do the job right.

We needed an outside storage area cleaned up and many items taken away (junk & donations where approriate). Due to a rodent invasion (with babies) , there was a heavy amount of rodent feces which needed to be handled appropriately and biologically cleaned so the area no longer posed a health hazard. This company brought project manager who devised a plan to sort and clean the room and any items to be placed back into storage. They also sorted out what was junk versus items fir donation after cleaning. There were 3 additional workers who did a great job. When finished, the room was totally cleaned and they put the storage items back where we wanted them placed. All was done promptly and with great communication. Thank you for your necessary help!

All I can say is that you guys are AMAZING!!! I work for a property management company and I was in deep need of a vendor who could take on a biohazard clean up. They did just that and on top of it still went above and beyond to find tenant items of value. That tenant was so happy to have all her items returned after suffering a fall which displaced her from the unit. Before and after photos were provided along with a full report of all areas. Thank you again for helping me out!

The crew of 4-5 people were super nice and did a fantastic job. They were very thorough, knowledgeable, and hard working. I am really glad we found them!
