Ron's service was excellent.Called him on a damaged water heater after our long-time plumber gave us the runaround on pricing and response time. Abetter came within a couple of hours, and did an excellent job. His price was about half of what another plumber has quoted us; my wife argued that we were being under-charged. Fortunately, she lost.

Called Abetter Plumbing for an emergency pipe leak and later a water heater failure. Both times Responded quickly to my call and arrived to fix the problem within a couple hours. Ron and his assistant were great. Fixed, the problem, left the work area clean and offered excellent customer service. Thank you!

I’ve used Ron for many things- from an emergency repair at my rental property, to installation of fixtures. And a few other miscellaneous repairs over the years. Always prompt, does a great job, and billing is very reasonable! My daughter is now considering becoming a plumber after our recent interaction. 😆

We've used Abetter plumbing over the past two years for a myriad of projects and have always been happy with the work. Often, they have gone above and beyond what we expected. We've needed emergency work, as well as non urgent repairs. Scheduling hasn't been a problem for us. And Sheila, Ron, and Ron's apprentice have all provided kind and professional customer service! Prices have felt very fair to us.

In my first experience a couple years ago I had another plumber from a larger local company come out and try to find a leak that had been going on for two months. That plumber spent 90 minutes in the crawlspace and gave up, saying it must be a leak in the main pipe between the street and house. I called Ron a couple weeks later. He got out of his van, walked up to a spot at the corner of the house, picked up a lid off the sidewalk and said "here's your problem." It took Ron less than 60 seconds to find what the other plumber gave up on. Since then he has fixed a couple other pinhole leaks in my copper pipes which led me to decide to re-pipe the house.
Ron and Dillan just finished re-piping my whole house. They did a great job. Both of them are personable, fun, and I was shocked how few holes they had to make in the drywall (they arranged for drywall repair too). They made it a lot less disruptive than I was expecting and I am glad I don't have to worry about more copper leaks anymore. PLUS, for the first time I can ever recall from a service provider, the final bill was LESS than the estimate, which was also about 20 percent less than the quote I got from a larger outfit that advertises. -
They do not want new customers.

We had an issue with the system they installed several years ago. They were quick to respond and thorough in their inspection. They diagnosed the problem and got us running again. We appreciate their service!

I'm so glad we went through this company to service and repair our furnace and heat pump!
They are friendly, fast, efficient and really affordable!
The tech, Jake, who came out and did our repairs was really helpful in answering my questions also.
Highly recommend them!!! -
Before calling Comfort Control I called Dr. HVAC. They didn’t really diagnose the problem with our heat pump, but filled the system with refrigerant and gave me a bill for $600. It worked for about 45 minutes.
Comfort Control diagnosed the problem, laid out my options and replaced my system on schedule and on budget. They’re professional and reliable. -
Installed original Carrier HVAC in 2000. Needed repair almost annually. Had new high efficiency Carrier system installed by them. Found out at tax time installers are not certified by Carrier therefore I was not elgibly for energy credit. That cost me a couple thousand dollars. Humidifier did not work, they said they did not install it. (See first sentence) Finally got them to wire the system "correctly", so I thought. Next filter change I noticed the water was running constantly in the humidifer. It should only run when the fan is on. Called Comfort Control only to be told the warrantee was up. Use them at your own risk.

Install both drains incorrectly water backed up and my furnace has rust all over the inside of it. Water drained on wood floors evertime it would get hot outside and condenser would work hard. Then they charged me for 150.00 for coming out to see if they installed down flow kit on furnace. They did come out to redo the two drains per the installation instructions that were not installed correctly at time of the furnace installation. Terrible install and follow up use anybody else for heating and cooling.

I can’t express enough gratitude for the team at Comfort Control. They came out the same day I called, and while I know that’s not always possible, I truly appreciate it when it happens. They didn’t just show up—they fixed the problem quickly, and the pricing was more than fair. Big thanks to the Comfort Control team for delivering exceptional service

My central heating blower motor bearings were going and created an awful racket (intermittently). Comfort Control Heating assessed the issue and gave a proposal to replace the blower motor. There was a charge for this assessment visit. I hired Comfort Control to replace the blower motor, which they did on a subsequent visit. After replacing the motor, the screeching from the failing bearings was gone, but now there was a loud constant hum that propagated throughout the house through the duct system. There was no mention in any note left by the tech as to what this sound was, or why my system was left with this sound. So, I called Comfort Control Heating to ask them. They said they would send the tech out to check on it. After the tech left, I was told that the blower needed a new housing, but that the factory no longer made them. I received an invoice for the visit. The comments on the invoice read "Found blower housing had vibration/humming sound. Sound would stop when blower was pushed on/metal was flexed. Tried to price out new housing for customer but found part is obsolete from factory. Tried putting metal tape on housing. Also tried putting extra screw in bracket and could not stop noise." The sound is too loud to live with, so I asked for a proposal to replace the blower (with the new motor) with something that wasn't so noisy. I called back several times asking for the proposal. They didn't provide one. They did call to follow up on where the payment for their visit to assess the was. I was surprised. The visit was to assess an issue that they created when they swapped out my blower motor. Since I called about the issue the day after they swapped out the motor, I would have thought this would have been a warranty item. They see it differently. I've asked to speak with the manager, but nobody will talk to me but the receptionist/office manager, who has been very nice and polite.

Elderly mother's furnace went out. I live in another state. I called several places in Mcminnville and everyone was at least a week out. Called Comfort Control Heating in Carlton 4:45 pm and they came out the next morning. They found the problem was electrical and called an electrician who came right out but had to order a part. They loaned her a heater. Very grateful. They do charge a service fee for coming out. They got approval for the fee beforehand. Will call them first in the future for furnace issues.
