Left a message asking if they had an availability for the next day, as it was after shop hours. My air conditioning died the night before one of the hottest days of the summer and before a holiday. The next morning they called me bright and early and said they could have someone out by 10am.

10 am on the nose, the worker arrived and got to work. Friendly and knowledgeable. Diagnosed the problem, fixed it and was back in his truck within an hour. All at a reasonable cost.

Have to give a big thumbs up to this company, highly recommend. Thank you!

We had an awful chemical smell coming from our geothermal HVAC. I thought it was a refrigerant leak (not knowing what refrigerant smelled like). Our original installer took a 5-min look at it, looked for active error codes, said it wasn't leaking, it must be the ducts, it couldn't be anything else, and charged us $300 for that insightful scam.

Called hybrid. They were out promptly and did rule out a refrigerant leak by checking pressures and did a soap test just to be sure. Unlike our installer they communicated why they didn't think it was a refrigerant leak. They did acknowledge the smell and spent nearly 2 hours troubleshooting and finally found it was actually an electrical smell coming from the soft start at startup.

They worked with my system manufacturer to order the part under my manufacturer warranty and the labor charge was very reasonable.

We will now only call Hybrid for HVAC service going forward.

The tech came out and diagnosed the problem quickly and was super nice!! Highly highly recommend them!!

Not happy at all with this company. First service person said it was not repairable. He said he would send another person out for an estimate on the replacement.
The first service person also slightly unscrewed the high pressure value and safety cap letting freon slowly leak into our basement. After he left we noticed it was leaking freon, being extremely upset I called and reported it and complained. Keith the owner sent out a second service person with a check in hand for a refund. This second service person said he talked to the previous technician and he denied doing it. He said the previous technician who had been with them for years was having family problems and could have accidentally just forgot. My reply was I don't think both the shrader valve and the safety cap both could have accidentally just been forgotten. This was a serious safety violation. However he looked at it and said it definitely with our any doubt needed replacement and they could give us an estimate. Since then we had another Geothermal company come out and put freon in it and it is working perfectly. The company that repaired it also found two water recirculating fittings that were mysteriously loosened. I would not have complained if this wasn't very mysterious.

We just had Hybrid Heating perform a motor replacement on our LG mini split. From start to finish the process was the best and most careful and neatest. Their service tech came and diagnosed the problem and part was ordered. They determined that there was a parts warranty and that labor was the only cost. Everything is working fine .Nice and quiet now.

I had Will H come out today to do a scheduled maintenance on my heat pump and also I had a problem with the unit it had shut off. He showed me it was a very simple fix with the overflow drain and how to fix it in the future if it happens at no charge and I can't say enough about how wonderful this company is and the staff they have, both the technicians and the office staff are so easy to work with I highly recommend this company if you're thinking about buying a new system or having yours maintenance or repaired this is your go-to company.👍

I can't say enough good things about this company. They truly know heating and cooling, and saved the day on a poorly installed brand new furnace and AC unit by another company. The issue was a loud and high-pitched metallic buzz air intake. After 4 attempts for the installing company to fix, I finally called Hybrid. They came over and had the issue diagnosed and fixed within 20 minutes. They were open and transparent with pricing on my scheduling phone call and they're all around A+++. They absolutely have our business moving forward.

Hybrid Heating H/C installed our gas/electric furnace and heat pump system a few years ago, we have been highly satisfied with your company ever since. We have always taken advantage of your annual service program, where the second visit each year is complimentary. Your techs are thorough, friendly and professional. Today was no exception -- Juan came back today in mid-August (he also did our Winter/Spring maintenance service) and tuned up our A/C system. We had an issue with air flow in the upper part of our home that another company had failed to address earlier this year when doing insulation work. I showed him what wasn't working, he quickly identified the problem and resolved it in less than an hour, with only a minimal labor charge. Juan was very polite, informative and professional, you have a great employee representing you! We are loyal to companies that offer great service and value, and Hybrid Heating A/C certainly meets that high standard.

Hybrid is an asset to their community. They have top notch maintenance & customer service. We are incredibly happy we chose them for our HVAC provider. Their technicians are always professional and have excellent communication. Jacob has been our service tech for the last few appointments. He's been on time, courteous, clean and has even shown us a few options we can do ourselves to optimize our systems when the weather gets extreme. We'd recommend Hybrid to anyone looking for HVAC system service.

We switched to Hybrid Heating a couple of years ago and wish we had done so sooner! Their expertise and customer service have been outstanding. The technician even repaired a freezer while they were at our home! We recommend them highly.

My wife and I are very happy that we know Hybrid Heating & Air Conditioning have our back. They are very professional and communicative. When we made an appointment for service they were very prompt and we received a nice courtesy call that they would be arriving in 20 minutes. Their service repairs were explained clearly and I learned quite a few things about my air pump. Calvin was courteous and professional in his manner and ability to tell me what adjustments and repairs were done. We will use them again. Also, I paid $310 which is the price of their dual maintenance fee, AC and heating per year. I think this is a great deal!

I've been relying on them for 8 years, as my HVAC system was in a rough condition before moving into my Cornelius home. An outdated furnace, mismatched compressors, and substandard duct work from 1998 were the initial challenges. However, whenever this company dispatched a technician to inspect our system, they've always been straightforward and honest about our needs. If a part was required, they ensured it was ordered that same day and installed at the earliest convenience, all done with utmost courtesy and respect. Three days ago, the compressor for our large unit failed. They sent Brady to my home in less than 24 hours. We knew it was about time for a new system, and when Brady gave us two options. We could either replace just the compressor (to work with an ancient furnace) or, considering the age of our system, it might be time to upgrade to a new system. Brady got in touch with his office and managed all the details to ensure a brand new system was installed in our home just two days later. Danny, the technician who came to install the new system, arrived first thing in the morning and worked tirelessly to get it done. Despite some quirks with our system, they managed to work around them and install a fantastic system. I also received top-notch customer service from everyone at the office. They ensured permits were acquired and compiled all necessary information into a packet for my convenience. If I had any questions, I could refer to this information or simply give them a call. I can genuinely vouch for the promptness, courtesy, and expertise of Jordan, Danny, and Brady. They understand that HVAC systems can be quite complex, especially in a hot climate like Cornelius. incredible service. the team was very detailed and hardworking. they replaced our old ac system, installed a new blower, upgraded the returns, and completely redid the ductwork and air plenum. before the improvements from williams & sons heating & air conditioning, our house in cornelius had lots of hot and cold spots, dusty vents, and mismatched return sizes. one room was always uncomfortable. now, the temperature is the same in every room, and the air moves smoothly with multiple returns and just one filter to change. the new two-stage blower is much more efficient. the thermostat is now a smart climate control system that i can adjust from my phone, and it automatically switches between cooling and heating as needed. brady, cesar, and elias did fantastic work, and we really appreciate their skill and knowledge.
