Reviews of local pros in Cornelius, Oregon

We have a beautiful retaining wall and fence that was designed with the assistance of Jose. He lead us through the process of securing a foundation and proper drainage for our property. Juan, Ricardo, and Liberto were very efficient and precise with their placement of both the stone wall and the fencing. They were all very friendly, respectful and a pleasure to work with!

Forest Landscape did an absolute transformation of our backyard.

From working with Jose with ideas to Rigo managing the project, it was a smooth and fun project to have done with our home.

Rigo was very proactive on his suggestions and I greatly appreciate his help.

Will definitely use them again on future projects.

"I had the pleasure of working with Rigo and Jose, and they were fantastic! They truly care about their clients and take the time to listen to your needs. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but they went above and beyond to bring my vision to life. Their dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction really set them apart. Highly recommend working with them!"

I have been without water for 5 days. A elbow fitting they installed burst right before the irrigation control valve. Which means I can not supply water to my house. And have been quoted $1,500 to get everything fixed. They will not honor their installation breaking.

They installed shark-bite fittings underground, which I have had 3 of my friends' plumbers say is not okay or up to code.. Shark-bite should only be used above ground and in plain site. Because of this, I would warn against using this company.

This is a family business, the daughter (
I'm sorry her name escapes me at the moment) my husband and I bought 2 trees today. She was extremely knowledgeable & very helpful!! We didn't feel pressured in anyway, I sure hope her parents are reading this because she is definitely an asset to your family business!! We just had a home built so we will be needing there help in designing our front yard and backyard, they will most definitely got our future business! There prices our very reasonable and a VERY huge selection!

Forest Landscaping team was attentive, professional, hardworking and very through. They paid close attention to every portion of the work; from design, to drainage, to plants and planting, to the final cleanup. Our backyard was changed from an unusable space to one that is inviting and a place of beauty. I highly recommend their business!

Our family had a MAJOR project done that was planned for a long time. Around late 2017, I received a bid for a much smaller scale project from Jose (the gentleman who came out to give us an estimate) and was happy with how in-depth and detailed it was. We never began the project because we rethought our scale and planned for a bigger renovation of our backyard (purgula, concrete patio, walking path and a fence all around the property).

Fast forward to 2019 and I reached out to Jose once again. And once again he came out and gave us another detailed estimate. He also gave his expertise on what we wanted and helped significantly.

The team completes the job within about 4 weeks. It was a huge job that now looks amazing. We couldn't be happier with the communication, advice, and work ethic from the crew. The supervisor, Rigo, was great at working with us and giving us updates throughout They were professional and curtious.

I'd recommend them for any project, big or small. They're exactly the sort of team that deserves referrals because they prove thier worth with their results.

We've worked with Forest Landscape to do two projects in our backyard - a fire pit installation and a paver patio installation - and I cannot recommend them highly enough! Jose, Rigo, and the whole crew were fantastic to work with: they helped us figure out the scope of the project, they were super communicative, and the crew was friendly, fast, and clean.
Awesome company!

The staff working for Forest Landscape are wonderful. Polite, friendly, and very professional in all the aspects of landscaping. I had a total redo of my entire yard front and back and side. They installed a beautiful patio, an irrigation system, a beautiful gravel path from the front walkway all the way around to the back yard and installed a nice gravel sitting area under the trellis. They planted all trees and shrubs and finished up with a dressing of hemlock barkdust. Could not be more pleased with the final results. My niece recommended the family owned business to me and I recommend them to you for top-notch quality!

We have used Forest Landscape for numerous projects over nearly a decade including installing an irrigation system, a retaining wall with large stones, another with landscape blocks, patio pavers and others. They have always done outstanding work. And, they stand by their work. Whenever something needs attention, they come back and take care of it. Jose, Rigo and Alex are all super professional, expert, and dedicated workers. Their work always surpasses are expectations and that's why we keep asking them to come back for new projects.

Forest Landscape installed a 6' chain link fence and a decorative picket fence in front yard. I just got a new dog and needed a secure backyard. They did a very professional job and extremely efficient and polite. These guys even worked in the pouring down rain to get the job done on time. I had three other estimates and all were within $100 of each other so the real deciding factor was who could give me the earliest start date as my dog's safety and containment were top priority and I explained that to all of them. Forest Landscape was the only company that seemed to understand the urgency. One large Portland fence company actually tried to tell me "the way construction works is I send them 1/2 the $ and then the scheduler will get around to it at sometime". Couldn't even give me a window of time! Thank you Forest Landscape for a job well done!

Forest Landscape just completed a total backyard remodel for me. I really enjoyed working with them. In particular, I liked that they do everything! They can do concrete and landscape work. My yard project consisted of a 700 s.f. broom-finish concrete patio, quarter-minus stairs along the side of the house, extensive drainage along the patio and down around the side of the yard, laying new sod, and a river rock border around the yard and patio.

I worked with Jose to create the project. He was very easy and enjoyable to work with. Extremely personable and responsive. He communicated really well throughout the entire project, be it email, phone or text. Jose understood my vision and helped me make the best decisions for my yard and my budget.

I'm looking forward to visiting their nursery next.

Hopefully they treat their customers better than they do their neighbors. I won't send a picture so I don't get retaliated against. They have bright green trucks that are parked in front of my house all the time. Partially blocking my driveway and then waking me up early in the morning when they fire it up to leave. This company should have a lot to park their vehicles in or the employees should have a spot in their own driveway or garage rather than making trouble for homeowners in a private neighborhood. I will definitely not be hiring them or recommending them for any of my companies or homes landscaping needs.

Forest Landscape is a first rate landscaping business! All of their staff are great communicators, friendly, on time and follow through on all questions. They always leave the site looking pristine at the end! They use high quality materials and follow the design very carefully. I’m very happy with the outcome and would definitely use them again for a future project!!!

We had a fabulous experience. We had a retaining wall and fence built as well as extended our patio. We couldn’t be any happier. It turned out fantastic, better than we had hoped! Everyone who walks by comments on how beautiful it looks. Danny, Alex and the rest of the crew were really wonderful, polite and accommodating. They worked very hard on our job and we really appreciate the workmanship. All top quality. We highly recommend Forest Landscape!

The Forest Landscape team is first-class. I loved using them for our yard project. The project managers were very responsive, friendly, clear, punctual, professional, and competent. The workers worked very fast, and the work was high-quality and first-rate. I would absolutely work with them again, it was a pleasure, and their work was great. I highly recommend them.

We have a major water feature in our back yard, with 4 cascading waterfalls. It was full of debris, algae and various growths. We had Forest clean it - they were booked out quite a way, but got us squeezed in somehow, and did an extremely thorough job of cleaning and powerwashing. It now looks pristine and beautiful. I would highly recommend them.

Very professional crew. They did a great job pulling a bunch of stumps and laying a new concrete pad.

Working with Rigo and Jose Castenada was one of the best decisions our family has ever made. They were punctual, professional and great communicators throughout the whole process. Would 100% use them again, but we already have our dream backyard now! 😎 Thank you Forest Landscape 😀

Jose, Rigo and crew did a great job on multiple different projects around 2 of my properties. They generally are not the cheapest person I have had give me bids, but nor the most expensive. However, their quality speaks for itself and had me return as a customer when I needed a large paver project done.

Forest Landscape has consistently provided quality, professional service. They completely re-landscaped our backyard and have provided additional services since. Will continue to use them as needed.
