Worked with Valley view on a big retaining wall and landscsape job out in Damascus. Very pleased with the end result. Crew was easy to work with and the owner followed through on timeline and budget. Wouldn't hesitate to have them back for more work and in fact most likely will when we do our water feature.

NO SHOW NO CALL. I got referred thru a local church and so I felt confident this company would be reputable. I left a voice message which took four days for him to return the phone call, this was my 1st clue. Dan the owner schedule a time and date for him to come view my property. The time came and went .... no phone call no Dan, this was my second clue. I then called him and he said he was still at his last job site and would come a few hours later. He never showed ..... and he is the owner. Don't waste your time and especially your money. Individuals like Dan need to be taught a lesson that customers service and respect matter. Lets see how long it will take Dan to respond, if he does at all. Hope this helps.

I highly recommend Valley View Landworks. They did the landscaping for our new home I love our yard! They were great to work with. We got 3 bids before deciding to work with them. They offered a competive price. Met their deadlines. Listened to what we were wanting and preformed above and beyond our expectations. They were very responsive and professional.

Well, I tried to use their service. Was ready to hand over money for a project I needed done asap. Wasn't even going to get estimates from anyone else. Dan was super nice when he came out, met us, and looked over our property. We were excited about what he had in mind and felt like we were all on the same page. He was going to get us an estimate in a few days. After not hearing from him for two weeks, I emailed him asking if he had an update on the estimate or when I could get it. Didn't hear back. Then I put a message through on their website in case Dan wasn't there anymore or something. Dan then emailed me 5 days after that, saying they were moving their office and he would work on getting an estimate to me. That was November 27th, and I write this on January 5th with no other communication from him. I'm very disappointed that we couldn't work with Valley View Landworks, and won't be trying to do business with them in the future. Nor would we recommend them.

Dan was recommended to me by a couple of people in the building industry. When he first came out he was overwhelmingly nice and enthusiastic about the project. That is where the good experience ended. He did not relay the scope of the job to the people doing the job. We had very thorough plans including photos of the plants etc. They installed other plants because that was what was available at the nursery they generally work with. he did not relay the scope of the job to the people doing the job. After some considerably harsh words they replaced some of the plants and I accepted others. They proceeded to tell me it was stupid plan even though that is what they had bid. Dan always communicated through text but when I text him about warranty work he referred me to some website. The website would not accept pictures and so I have Emailed my request and I will see what happens. Incidentally the two people that recommended him have since called me and one of them apologized for recommending them because their service has gone downhill and the other one had problems getting them back and said he would never use them again.

We had a retaining wall put in on the property line between our neighbor and our backyards. Dan was very friendly and professional, he communicated regularly, and they started and finished the project on schedule. I was impressed with the workers, they were very hardworking, they cleaned up the area at the end of each day, and they were careful with our lawn and plants. We were happy with the results.

Dan and crew were exceptional. All the work was performed promptly and in a professional manner. Clean up after the work was also top notch. Price was fair and I feel I got a lot of work done for the money spent. You need a tree trimmed or taken down, call these guys!

Had a consultation scheduled that they completely blew off. I wasn’t contacted as to why and when I called to see what happened, they didn’t even bother to call me back.

Horrible driver tried to run me off the highway

I've worked directly with the owner, as well as the office staff. They've been great to work with.

Incompetent front office staff. Twice stood me up to bid on a French drain. Not worth the time.

Never use this company ,landscaper cuted cable and sad I need change irrigation controller .Overcharged me for everything when I call to Their support.Representative Linda Rinbo was so rude.

Called to make an appointment for them to come fix a broken irrigation pipe for the next day and told them it was critical since I've had to shut water off to my entire house to stop the leak. Kept calling and kept being told the guy would be here but never did they come. Trash service. 0/10 would not recommend.

I called and set an appointment to have someone come and give an estimate to have monthly landscaping and made special arrangements to be there and no one showed up. I called and they said they would find out what was going on and said they would call back. I got no call. When I tried calling back they would not answer. I'm sick of companies in Portland acting like this and thinking it's professional. I will put this review on every company that does this from this point forward. Call your customers and let them know you do not want work or new accounts. Easy peasy.

Called this company for irrigation system repair and next day tech came out, inspected and diagnosed repair of leaking valve. Said repair would be scheduled on Monday. Sadly, that's where it ended. No call back. No repair. I called and spoke with Taya ? who said she'd speak with owner and call back. I've now left 3 messages without response. The last message stated that I just want to know one way or the other... Crickets. DO NOT BOTHER - THEY CLEARLY DON'T CARE!!!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Scheduled appt to review our project; said they would be there the next day. No show. Like others, no call, no nothing. I do not understand how small businesses like this one can stay in business when they simply do not show up. If there had been an emergency or a previous project ran over the scheduled time, I can understand that. But not calling and not showing up; that is just a red flag. Be forewarned: Go elsewhere! I recommend J's Custom Landscaping in Vancouver, WA. Friendly, professional staff that get the job done.

Some of the worst tree care practices I've ever seen... topping trees is common practice, plus does not follow up on watering, overuse of pesticide and herbicide oftentimes unnecessary, and more. Classic mow and blow company, not worth the price imo.

Do not use these guys. I have personally never hired them but they came to my property and started mowing my lawn. They also started to pick flowers out of my property. The guy was a bit apologetic but started to get frusterated and mad when I confronted him about him coming to my property and picking things when I never hired these guys. I don't know who this company is but when I called their main office, the front desk person said they will get the owner. I called back several times trying to figure out what is happening but each time, they either forwarded my call to a completey different company or hung up on me right away. Please stay away from them. I never hired this company and they seem like a complete nightmare.

Our HOA used them for a few years and decided definitely time to change. Service is average, responses to questions/concerns is extremely difficult to get, often many bush trimmings were left on the ground, our blackberries were cut back 2 months earlier than specified on our contract, our sprinklers were not winterized this year and I cannot get a response as to why not so we had to pay for another company to do so. Owner, Jaime, states on contract that he will come out for "courtesy visits" and HOA person "will be alerted prior to these visits should they choose to participate" - I said please alert me and he NEVER did. Not a good feeling to always wonder if you're getting what you're paying for. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
