I had a willow tree split down the middle and half fell over, the other half barely standing, leaning toward our home. Dan was referred by good friends of mine who had just had him out. He came to my home and gave me a bid the same day I called him. I could tell from talking with him right away that he knew how to handle my job. I even cancelled another company from also coming out for a bid, I was satisfied with Dan's professionalism and the cost he gave me. The next day my tree was gone, stump grinded out and property all cleaned up. No hassles, fast work! I told him I would gladly give him a good review, well deserved. Thanks!

I had a very large, over-grown laurel hedge that I needed work on. It had been an expensive hassle for years and I finally decided to have some of it removed. Dan came out and removed a large section and then did some great trimming and shaping or the remaining portion. He worked quickly, met all the terms of the bid, and it all looks great. I plan to use Dan for all future tree/shrub needs and would heartily recommend him to others.

Dan and crew were exceptional. Very professional. Somewhat complicated dual tree removal and they ACED it with no damage to nearby neighbors house or fence underneath. Would definitely use him again and recommend to all!

I have used this company twice to grind out large stumps at my residence and have had an excellent experience both times.Stump grinding is messy by the nature of the work but when they were finished everything was raked and smoothed out to perfection.The crew was clean cut,professional,and knew what they were doing.
Also Dan is old school and his word is his bond.When I find a contractor this good I don't need to call for any other quotes.

I first had Dan and his crew do some tree trimming for us in 2009. At that time he told me "Our business approach is to build long term relations". That's exactly what he did. We've had Treekeeper trim our trees regularly and had 2 removed over the years and the work was always most impressive and competitively priced. Cleanup is always excellent. I found Dan on the internet and thanks to all of his good reviews I requested a quote for trimming my overgrown Honeysuckle that separates my house from the neighbors and pruning a few trees and an old Lilac in my backyard. I had also requested a quote from another service. Dan replied to my message very quickly with a better price and a quicker turn around time than the other service for getting the work done. He did a great job doing exactly what we discussed and was reasonably priced. I will definitely call Dan again to help keep my shrubs and trees under control. I needed arborvitae, a pear tree and other bushes removed so as to have a fence installed. Dan gave me a competitive bid and within a few days was able to have his crew of two complete the job in a little over 2 hours. They ran all the removed material through a chipper, cleaned up the area well and hauled off the chipped material. I hope that I have just as much success with the fence contractor that I will hire.

Dan did and outstanding job trimming and thinning two very large trees in our back yard as well as grinding the stump and roots of another tree we took down. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and the amount of sunlight that we now get in the garden area.
They took great care to protect all the plants, gardens, wind chime's and bird feeders that are scattered all over my backyard and patio. These are particularly messy trees with lots of moss and twiggy branches, they did an outstanding job cleaning up all the debris from the thinning process.
The price was extremely reasonable, we couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend Treekeeper Tree Service.

Like the service and price very reasonable. Gave me free estimate. Had other bids and Dan gave me a good rate, so went with Treekeeper. Showed up on the date scheduled did the work and they cleaned up after themselves. I will use them again.

Dan and his team came to cut several large (understatement) branches off our Deodar Cedar (which is about 100 feet tall). They went way above and beyond for us and did a terrific job. I would easily recommend them to anyone in need of tree services in the Portland area. So easy to work with, quick response and easy communication.

Ice storm brought several large branches of my Deodar and pine trees down onto my roof, poking six holes through the plywood. Everything still sheathed in ice, Dan nonetheless came over the next day to assess the situation and give me an estimate. He returned the following day to do the work, quickly, neatly, safely and at exact price he quoted. He even attended to two more widow makers in back, about which I had emailed him after his visit the previous day. I was most appreciative of his risk assessment capacity and ability to safely remove multiple, 6-8 in diameter, crossed branches which were supporting each other, with no additional damage to my roof. Also very much appreciated his concern for the health of my trees. I will definitely have him back, as soon as he can get here!

Outstanding service. Dan & his crew not only were prompt with a competitive quote, they also removed my fence, moved a small tree and several ferns in addition to removing all debris, including the trunk. His team then helped to re-install my fence. All for the base quote price. All other quotes would not haul away the trunk or charged an additional fee. I highly recommend his services. Also, I live in a row house, he was considerate of my neighbors, removing debris from their yards and making sure his equipment did not impede traffic in our back alley.

Like most everyone who has used Dan's service I am completely satisfied with the cost, the timeliness with which the work was done from estimate to completion, and Dan's skill and artistry in trimming two wildly overgrown Walnut trees in my front yard. They are now elegant and regal trees that do not overwhelm a rather small house. My friend likes what Dan did so much she is going to use his service on her own trees.
