I would have given no stars but had to give at least one. The lady I talked to on the phone was rude and a smartass. She said they only had wet wood and when I asked If they had anything dry she responded well we do live in Oregon so that's what you get. Well I didn't expect to be treated as if I we're a waste of her time so I will never call this company again for anything wood or tree related. And to the lady on the phone if you want to keep customers maybe you need a lesson in manners.

I paid premium price for mixed firewood and it’s the worst wood I’ve ever seen. So much pitch on a huge portion I can’t safely burn it. It would be dangerous to burn indoors for sure would even burn it outside in fear it would pop a chunk and start another fire. Will not do business with them ever again anyone would be better!

Well the pictures did post there’s one with how much pitch is on each piece some have more then a picture of the pile that is not useable.
So upset not one word from them when I shared pictures with them!

We had a tricky rotten tree situation, and these guys did a great job. We got several bids, and theirs was the lowest. They did a great job of removing the rotten areas, and leaving a healthy tree. This was two years ago and we haven't had any more branches fall off since. They also cleaned up their mess, which I really appreciated.

This is the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. After a month of going back and forth with Phil, taking him at his word that he had me scheduled to remove trees from my property, I finally had to get it in writing. On the date they were scheduled to come out, they were a complete no-show and didn’t even bother to call to re-schedule. Although I can’t comment on the quality of their work (because they never showed up to do the work), I can attest to their poor communication and inability to follow through with scheduled projects. I would not consider using them in the future.

These guys are excellent at what they do. They had a huge dead fir tree to remove and had it done and cleaned up in about 2 hours. They work safe and fast and I would highly recommend them. They also came out on a Sunday because they were overbooked on Saturday. Also very affordable for the job they did!

Allowed this company to use my property to access neighbor's yard to do tree trimming. They managed to damage the roof of my shed, and broke several branches of a tree in my yard due to dropping large branches into it. They did agree to fix the roof and said my tree grow back . The repair to the roof was not done well. For a project I did not hire them for, they cost me a lot of time, frustration and a future project to fix my own shed properly.

A month ago Phil was paid to trim a large hedge at a rental property that my parents own. The job was not finished. After calling we were told the job would be completed by the end of the week. They have told us this multiple times now. I am a commercial contractor, licensed plumber and licensed electrician. I own a large construction company in Pdx . On Monday I will be contacting the CCB and one of the attorneys we keep on retainer. This will get this sorted out. This being our experience with alder creek I would suggest you go with some one else to get your tree service completed.

I had an excellent experience with both the removal crew and the stump-grinding crew. Very courteous, removed everything quickly without leaving a mess, and didn't break anything even though one of the removals (a giant kiwi vine) was practically fused with the fence. Professional crews!

I have used Alder Creek more than once to trim trees in my yard. I just had a large tree removed in my front yard, and another trimmed in the back. I wanted more trimmed on the back tree and much to my surprise they came right back over the next morning a did some additional trimming. They work fast, safely, and they didn't leave one twig behind in the yard. I highly recommend Alder Creek Tree Services.

Alder Creek Tree Service did a very good job for me. Ty ran the crew and Ty and his team was very professional and did a great job. They also did a nice job of cleaning up at the end. I was very happy with their services and would highly recommend them.

During a recent ice storm, I had a very large doug fur go down causing three others to lean and risk falling. After calling around to numerous arborists, I was referred to Alder Creek. While the other services could not give me a straight time frame (considering I have a tree about to go down on my house at any moment), I got into contact with Phil and within an hour he was on my property and within 3 hours, had all the at-risk trees down which allowed my family to return to a safe property.

Additionally, freezing rain hit in the middle of the job and they still finished. They were in communication the whole time and were patient with me even though I was anxious and stressed.

Phil has been in the business for at least 20 years (that I know of) and it shows in his communication, work assessment, and efficiency.

We were very satisfied with Alder Creek's service. Their workers were efficient and skilled. The tree was about two feet away from a shed and next to a wooden fence. When they were cutting down the tree they caused no damage to our property even, though our tree was very old and big. They did an amazing job. If I needed a would hire them again.

I was recommended to have Phil come work on my property in Happy Valley by a good friend who has worked with him a few times and I was very happy for the connection. Phil is professional, and does a great job with his crew. Definitely will reach out to them when I need help with future projects! 👏🏻

What a pleasant experience. I ordered 2 cords of hardwood and they were delivered on time and the wood was clean and dry. There was definitely a full 2 cords of hardwood and it burns great and really puts out the heat. Having had several bad experiences in the past with other firewood company's, it was such a pleasure to deal with a company that delivers precisely what they promise.

Purchased 3 cords of Hard wood earlier this year and had two people come out ( a very nice man and woman ) shortly after scheduling delivery ( the scheduling lady on the phone I spoke to was also very nice ). My husband and I just started burning and the quality of wood is better than other places I've purchased from. The nice woman who came also took the time to explain to me that there we're a few pieces of cherry wood mix in and showed me how to differentiate it from the others. Definitely sold me on buying their premium wood for next fall/winter! Ive never purchased firewood before and was quite nervous but they were on time, professional, friendly and quick. Overall quality of wood is a 5/5 and the service was 5/5 for me :)

In an industry where many will overcharge, they have proven to be fair and often much less than other companies. They have been in business for many, many years and really know what they are doing. Had a tree go down and I was worried about the tree right next it falling as well, called up Alder Creek and the owner came out and gave a quote. A few days later, the tree's were gone, my yard wasn't tore up and they did everything as promised. Couldn't be happier.

Phil and his crew did a splendid job for us this week. We needed trees topped, two trees removed, and a row of arborvitaes trimmed. They went above and beyond when new things came up which we had not foresseen. A+++ to these guys!

I called Mount Hood roof restoration for moss removal on my roof. Dan was quick to reply. I also appreciated his honest evaluation of what my roof needed and did not necessarily need at this time.

Dangerous drivers. Refused to allow a merge, aggressively blocked me with their truck.
