Bear Mountain Electric was great to work with and they responded quickly to getting the electrical power mast repaired on our home that was damaged by the ice storm in early January 2024. We have used Bear Mountain a total of three times in the last 4-5 years and they have provided great customer service, price and service all three times. Thank You Bear Mountain Electric!!!!!

Jacob was great, got all the work done and cleaned up, and willingly answered all my extra questions.

Excellent work in replacing my electric panel. The estimate was way below any others. The electrician was prompt, proficient and meticulous. Even the city of Eugene electrical inspector complimented the work. Bear Mountain also did the electrical installation for my ductless heat pump . You know you can trust a company when they are used by others for their contracted work. It was a great experience with all , from the office to the installer.

Bear Mountain Electric: Top-notch service from peak to plug!
I can't recommend Bear Mountain Electric and their technician Randy highly enough. They recently tackled a complex electrical issue in my home with professionalism, expertise, and genuine friendliness. Randy was a true pro – knowledgeable, efficient, and always happy to explain things in layman's terms. He diagnosed the problem quickly, presented me with clear options, and completed the work flawlessly, leaving everything clean and tidy. My electrical woes are gone, and thanks to Randy's fantastic service, my confidence in Bear Mountain Electric is at an all-time high. If you're looking for electricians who are as reliable as they are skilled, look no further!

Bonus: If you're in the Eugene area, mention you heard about them from a satisfied customer in [your neighborhood]!

Bear Mountain Electric was professional from the first phone call to the payment time. Brian and Jaden were professional, knowledgeable, polite, informative, and very thorough. Brian was probably the most detail oriented tradesman I’ve dealt with. He doesn’t miss, neglect, or forget anything at all. Highly recommend their services if you’re looking for an excellent, reliable electrician

This is a wonderful company. I had a new panel installed and they were quick and efficient. They really knew what they were doing. Just recently I called them again for smaller things like thermostats and electrical sockets. They were very responsive and explained what the problem was and gave me options. This is a great company with great people working for them. I will definitely be using them in the future for my next remodeling project. Thanks Duncan for working so well with my dogs on top of doing a great job.

After having three different companies come to our house in Oakridge to quote the work we wanted done.

    - 1rst one was way to expensive
    - 2nd one said we'd have to do a bunch of other stuff first
    - 3rd one we actually agreed to and tried for two weeks to get them to schedule a time with no return phone call

After those 3 failures, We asked a few friends who recommended Bear Mountain. And I'll tell ya what, these folks are how customer service should be. Tyler, who helped us, was easy to speak with, made the process really easy, and they were able to get to us scheduled very quickly.

The day of installing the electrican who did the work was equally impressive with his customer service skills. Communicated with me each step of the way, from leaving the shop to showing up at the property and then throughout the installation.

We will not try and / or go thru any other company in the future with our elecrical needs.

*Pictures are before the work was done. But it was all they needed to quote the job. Also, super impressive.

Bear Mountain came to our little cabin in
the woods in Central Oregon to do a service change. They did all the leg work obtaining permits and contacting the power company. They were in and out in a day. They showed up when they said and did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

I've had work done by Bear Mountain Electric twice. As far as I can tell, the work was done well both times. However, it seemed a bit overpriced to me both times. And more importantly, I scheduled work to be done in the morning (between 8 and 12), and the electrician didn't arrive until 12:30, and needed to stay for several hours. And they weren't particularly communicative or apologetic about the delay.

wanted to come out and just do the work without me knowing how much it was going to be. They also said the person that comes out to do the work would not be able to tell me how much it would be, that they would just invoice me for the work? When i said i wanted to know first they sent someone out the next day. He quoted me the job would take a little over 2 hours plus parts, $300-350. The next day they came back and did the work, the gentleman was only there about 50 mins and there were very 1few parts used, maybe a total of $40. When I called the next day to inquire about it only taking 50 mins and if that was going to be reflected in my bill they said they were actually charging my 100 for coming out to do the quote? They did finally credit me 90 for the quote. I know who I won't be using info the future.

An electrician was supposed to head over to my rental house and call with an estimate 2/27. I called in the afternoon because I had a morning appointment and hadn't heard from them yet. At first I was told I wasn't on the schedule...okay...disappointing but I was scheduled for the following week during that phone call. Receptionist called me back 10 min later and said the electrician actually spent 3 hours at at my property that morning.

I was disappointed they didn't call as requested before doing the work. I asked for a call back from Tyler, who I understand is the owner. I was asked to confirm my phone number and email to receive an invoice. I didn't receive a call or invoice via email and a few days after the work, I emailed them to remind them I needed an invoice (3/5). Nearly a month later (4/1) I received a call letting me know my invoice was overdue. I never received one and I never got a response back from my own email inquiry.

The receptionist is incredibly rude and lacks any sort of customer service skills. She's snarky and takes no accountability. She originally told me I wasn't even on the schedule and then called to tell me they were actually at my home for 3 hours. Seems like company mismanagement and lack of communication at it's finest. She insisted she emailed me...she didn't. I paid my invoice the day it was received, 26 days after the work was done.

I will not be calling Bear Mountain again.

They really dropped the ball. Think they have communication problem.

they charged $206 to come out and replace a dimmer switch ($172.50 labor and $33.50 'materials'). needless to say I think that's excessive.

They didn't finish the job and then billed us when they came back and were disrespectful while they were here. They have a very poor work ethic and poor social skills.
