We had a new ductless heat pump installed to replace a King 120V electric wall heater because we were having issues with it and learned that the wiring going to the wall heater in our 1970s house was undersized for the existing unit, options were to pull new wire to bring it to code or go for a heat pump. We decided on a heat pump due to its dehumidifying abilities and availability of air conditioning since we can't open our bedroom windows at night during the summer due to road noise. Called in early February to get a bid, accepted the bid mid-late Feb., scheduled install for late March. Normally I would get at least one other bid before proceeding but Bryant seemed very honest so we just went with theirs. They responded to follow up questions promptly. We opted for a homeowner install of the electrical connections and the hardest part of that was figuring out the paperwork and the folks at City of Florence were not helpful or knowledgeable; my husband even had to go back to pay fees they forgot to charge, but that's another review. Starr coordinated the CLPUD rebate and inspection on our behalf.

The install looks great, the unit is quieter than the old wall heater and works SO much better. Bryant knew what he was talking about with sizing; I was a little worried the unit size he selected might be slightly on the small size but anything more would have been overkill. We've been enjoying our main living space feeling warm everywhere instead of the pockets of warmth the wall heater provided. Our electricity bill has already decreased as well (that could be a combination of the weather getting warmer as well but time will tell). 10/10 recommended, if you're thinking about switching to a ductless heat pump go for it; we're very happy we did and glad we went with Sea Starr Heating.

Sea Starr built a deck for me last year and recently repaired some dry rot in my beach house. They responded quickly to my calls, showed up promptly, and did a great job. I really glad I found them.

In August of 2021 Sea Starr owner, Bryant, installed a ducted heat pump at what we considered to be a very reasonable price. We have had no problems and our savings on electrical usage is at about 40%. We used the cooling portion of the system on one very hot day in June, so sweet!
Having had a successful relationship with his company, I asked Bryant if he could recommend a house painter. This is where the “more” comes in that’s included in the company's legend. We ended up contracting with him to paint our house. We’re really happy with the work and the finished product. We are so comfortable with his professionalism and work that we are going to have Sea Starr install a walk-in shower this fall.
Bryant is great to work with. He exhibits good business ethics, and a professional demeanor with absolutely no bs.

As I wrote earlier, Sea Starr was scheduled to install a walk-in shower in the fall. They did that with quality and efficiency. We're very happy with the result and still super pleased with Bryant and his team. If we have any projects that require their skill sets I will no doubt look to Sea Starr for their help.

Our old furnace was near death but thanks to Sea Star, Bryant was able to get it back up and running and save us some money as well. For HVAC repairs and maintenance I’ll call Sea Star first every time.

The service was great and they deserve a 5 star for that but the fact you can’t call them or talk to them is why I did a 4 star review. They have a booking service which was very limited and until the tech actually showed up I had no idea if they really understood what I needed. The booking detailed said to repair or quote a new system but I never wanted to have a new system quoted. In the end the tech was great, fixed our issue in like 45 minutes and it was worth every penny. I usually leave these reviews with “Tell them Bob sent you” but you can’t talk to them so…

Look no further. You WILL have a positive experience with these guys. Bryant came out and installed a whole new heat pump, air handler, and venting to the entire house. The work is solid and punctual and the communication is prompt and professional. Grade A work.

I had a multi room Mitsubishi ductless unit installed in my large house which I love!!! Bryant is such a hard worker! He ran line that was quite difficult through my home but did it with ease. He is very knowledgeable about HVAC and many other contractor needs. I felt very taken care of from scheduling to the date of installation. Out of the various heating systems I've had installed on both coasts during my lengthy lifetime this was by far the best. service I have ever received. From the time of the initial visit to determine what was needed until the job was completed the process went smoothly and according to what had been agreed on.

Bryant , in particular, did an outstanding job of installing the two heating system replacement units in my house and shop. He arrived on time, stayed until both units were working properly and cleaned up everything before leaving.

We had a bit of an odd start with Sea Starr, but their actual service more than made up for the initial challenges. We needed help with our dryer ductwork and the first person I talked to didn’t know if this was a service they offered. She said she’d have the owner call me on Monday to discuss. Monday came and went with no word, so I called Tuesday and got the same person who still didn’t know if they could do the work. So I said, don’t bother; I’ll make other arrangements. The owner, Starr, called the next day and she was great! Very helpful and friendly and confirmed that they could help us and got us scheduled right away. Owner Bryant came out at 5 p.m. on Friday, last call of the day. He was very nice, very professional and got the job done for a very fair price. We would definitely call them again and only hope for a smoother start to the process next time.

Absolutely the best customer service! I called and immediately spoke with a real person who was able to make my appointment in real time. Bryant was respectful and was a breeze to work with. Fixed my heater and got my family out of the cold. Communication was seamless. We felt completely comfortable with Bryant.
