Overall good. There was a couple things that didn't set well with me. I was told they would be here at 8 am but it was approximately 8:20 am when they arrived. No notifications of running behind were given or what there start time is at the shop. The lead tech was in 'mentor mode', which for the training tech was fine, although it had the mentor a bit arrogant and short on manors towards me in my opinion. I didn't find it very professional for the lead to be verbally admiring my tools in my garage (Fluke meter) and then grabbing it and using it when troubleshooting the damper control board. I will say he was very knowledgeable and giving his assistant a clear and concise description (good for me also) of what his was doing and why. When entering into the living space the techs did not use any footwear covers on my wood floors and they did observe me remove my shoes. There was frost on the pavement outside and I had used a ice melt product which was very obvious. It doesn't go well on my floors or carpets. I mentioned to the lead tech when they were leaving that their competitor from Pasco did insure they had shoe covering when entering and it would have been nice had they done the same. They did access the attic area and located the issue with the damper as a loose wire connection which did not surprise me given all the glitches the original installer had with this system. Also the fact that the system was not zoned as I had requested it to be done. I'll live with that, not changing the system at this point. The lead tech did go through-out the house, other than a couple bedrooms which we know are in zone 1 and can be tested for air flow in my office. He also did a great job explaining the iComfort control pad to me and it's sub settings I was unaware of. As mentioned, the arrogant part came in when grabbing toilet tissue from the rolls in the bathroom and not first inquiring if it was okay to due so to do air flow analysis on registers. I did mention that the HVAC crews I worked with in large commercial jobs all over the country for years carried their on rolls of crape paper to test air flow or a hand held wind meter. Bottom line is they did accomplish and correct the issues at hand and that is great, and being straight up and honest with this request of review, though they could do a couple things with little to no extra effort really, to make themselves and the company they represent shine and this would have been a few words long instead of this writing it could have been, 'Excellent job, look forward to doing business with them again!' I have to thank Bruce HVAC and Seth Draper for getting tech's out in short order, next day, impressive given it wasn't a no heat emergency call. Thanks it is appreciated.

AC quit blowing cold air. Called at 945am, they said they would have a TECH out between 10 n 1pm.
TECH arrived at 1010! They went right at diagnostics, first issue was a capacitor that had died. They quoted a price, I agreed to it, and they had a replacement in their rig! Installed the new, and “bingo, bango, bongo” ice cold air was flowing again!
They did a thorough cleaning and more testing, closed it up, and an invoice produced for a debit card payment.
Fast, Professional, reasonable price- I recommend this HVAC company!

We had a great need for a same day repair on our client’s home and Ryan was quick to get us in! We pride our selves in having excellent customer service, so it was a pleasure to have a like minded company working side by side. King Roofing appreciates the quick turnaround!

Update: This all started with an inappropriate installation of a complete HVAC system by another Hermiston HVAC contractor who didn't show much interest in making the needed corrections. Jeremy evaluated the system, identified the deficiencies, and designed a remediation. The install crew came twice, as needed, and installed Jeremy's changes. I can't say enough good about all of them. Bruce HVAC has been great to work with all around! And I want to be sure and give credit to all involved: Jeremy Kennedy, Technician Reynaldo, and Installers Kobe and Tyler. Jeremy in particular put a lot of thought into getting this mess straightened out. They will be my go-to people for HVAC in Hermiston.

My condensation pump died. They came right out and fixed it. Antonio even went the extra mile to neatly arrange the cord so it wasn’t messy. I would definitely call them again!

The technician Paul was great. He was both professional and knowledgeable.

My son was the one that recommended Bruce Mechanical to me. I asked him who do I call and he said Bruce has got a lot of good reviews. So I called and they were able to send a technician out that day. He found the problem in an hour of testing but had to order the part. It took 6 days to get the part but when it came in they called and gave a 2 hour window. The tech was there before the time slotted and fixed my furnace. The technician, Abe, was professional and explained everything to me. Abe was a great guy and I would recommend Abe and the Bruce Mechanical team to anyone. Thanks for your help.

Daniel did an excellent job on the AC service call. He explained everything he was going to do, what parts may need replacing and the reasoning for it, and he answered all my questions. I feel very confident in the work he did. I will be using Bruce Heating & Air Conditioning in the future.

Year after year the Bruce team never fails to provide the best service and pricing for my company. It doesn’t matter if it’s a apartment-sized mini-split or a 30-ton commercial system - I’ve never been disappointed in the service and care we receive, and their pricing is always competitive. They clearly care for their employees too, as I’ve had the pleasure of working with the same experts for years - their staff turnover seems nonexistent which makes my job even easier, as I never have to re-train a new tech on each building’s quirks. I can’t say enough nice things about their customer service!
