I highly recommend Lorenzo and his company-Creations to anyone who is looking for a landscaping company to design and work on their landscaping project. Lorenzo and everyone worked on my project took extra care and made sure everything went well. I am very happy with the result.

I had two fence projects done by Creations Design and Build. They went above and beyond to make my experience one of the best I have had with contractor work. Lorenzo and his landscaping team were fantastic. The crew was experienced, hard working professionals. Their teamwork and talent were amazing. They were respectful of our property, cleaned up at the end of each day’s work. We had hired Creations Design & Build to tear up and redo our backyard, which was a mish-mash of weeds, badly planted shrubs, and more… basically a mess, from the day we moved in. We put in some work on our own but were quickly overwhelmed. Thanks to Creations Design & Build we now have a beautiful yard with low maintenance plantings and pavers. Highly recommend!

CDB was overall a great experience. They first stopped by for a fast quote while explaining possible complications with solutions. My project was during the heavy rain but the team always made sure to clean up before they left. The final result was exactly what I was hoping for. Lorenzo and the crew with Creations Design & Build were amazing.
We received their information from a friend who spoke highly of them. We had them come do a bid for our backyard project. Their response was timely and they were professional.
We had a good idea of what we needed done, and had some inspiration pictures, but weren't sure what would work in our backyard or how to make it all work cohesively while also addressing our flooding issues, grading issues, tiered levels, and angular lot.
Lorenzo discussed our vision and added his suggestions, and their work turned out better than we could have expected!
The crew installed a 80' stone retaining wall with the proper irrigation and french drain to eliminate our flooding during the rainy season. They expanded our upper lawn, bringing in fill dirt, properly grading the lawn, and installing sod. They expanded our patio by an additional 300 sq ft, and incorporated beautiful stone stairs to the upper lawn to make it easily accessible.
We were able to purchase a good portion of the stone material at a discount because of my husband's job, but Lorenzo and the team provided the rest. Their price was reasonable and they were willing to work within our budget.
Their turn around time for completion was perfect! I believe they had additional jobs they were working on as well as our project, but we never felt a lack of attention or priority.
Lorenzo would send us update pictures through out the day to show us the progress being made and ask for our input or approval before finalizing anything.
We appreciate all that they did for us and couldn't be happier with the beautiful backyard they helped us create! It is now our favorite place to be.
We have already enjoyed so many activities and gatherings, and look forward to so many more!!

Just blowers and mowers and poor tree / shrub maintenance. If you want to lose your bark dust to blowers, have pick up the covers for your yard lighting etc. then this is the firm for you. There are firms with with much better service out there for the money.

Punctual and professional, they transformed my backyard eyesore into a beautiful, low maintenance space l can be proud of. A lot of work went into this project and l am very pleased with this company and believe they offer a great value.

Our Hillsboro Church was adding a Memorial Garden and enlarging the patio in an existing fenced backyard in spring/summer 2012. This was part of a larger upgrade including a new playstructure, so there were a lot of details in the overall plan. We realized that the landscape pavers and walkway was too big a job for church volunteers, so we went looking for help!

From the first contact with New Life Landscape, Marshall King (owner) was an excellent partner. He is a professional and was a pleasure to work with throughout the project. From initial meeting to final cleanup, I could not have asked for more. From the start, he planned for a quality job. He looked ahead to potential issues and presented alternatives to meet the overall project goals. He set the schedule, managed his other work to start on time despite weather changes, and staffed our project to finish it as planned.

Project details:
- 16' x 20' garden converted to paver patio (335 sq ft)
- 25' x 25' garden: paver walkway and dual bench area (280 sq ft); slope leveling; irrigation update.

Marshall installed the pavers in a herringbone pattern (matched between the walkway & patio), yet still came in below other contractor quotes with simpler patterns. In addition, Marshall's team did extra work to make the results nicer. This included: trimming the exterior boards around the patio to get the correct level; bringing in extra topsoil to build up the garden beds; adjusting walkway outline after initial layout to fit the space better; installing benches by hand modifying pavers to fit.

In summary, New Life Landscape provided an high quality service for a very competitive price. They were focused on customer satisfaction, and were willing to modify the plans during construction to enable the best result. This review is being written 3 1/2 months after the work was completed. We are extremely happy with final result, and regularly get comments on the quality of the work. I wholeheartedly recommend New Life Landscape!

These have to be the worst landscapers I’ve ever seen. Not only does the property look like garbage, but they take extremely long and come twice a week and make a huge mess of everywhere that isn’t landscaped - and they don’t clean up after themselves. 0/10

We initially found New Life Landscape on Angie's List and have worked with Marshall and his team on three phases of a project in our backyard. Marshall is very experienced in his field we have heavily relied on his opinions on all aspects of the projects. He took time to listen to use to hear what our wants were and also what challenges we wanted to overcome. He provided options and talked us through each step of the project. We could not have been happier with the outcome every time we work with New Life Landscape and would without hesitation recommend them to anyone!

Hardscape patio and yard. On the front end, Marshall did a good job with communication and the end product was very well done, which took about two weeks to complete at a cost of around $10K. However after some time had passed, we needed additional maintenance completed on the work he had done, Marshall was horrible with communication. I reached out numerous times by phone and text before he replied. After nearly a full year of working to get Marshall to come out and do repairs he told me to find another company to do the work because he was too busy. Whats worse is, is that our home is about two miles from his business location so its not like he would have to go way out of his way to do the work. Because of their after the sale performance I will not recommend their services to anyone.

Marshall and his crew transformed my backyard rectangle of grass with a postage stamp sized concrete patio into a beautiful oasis. We replaced our 10’x10’ patio with a 600 sq. ft. Mega-Arbel patio with fire pit. Marshall was very detailed in his design, and was very accommodating to our wishes. I deferred to his judgment on most design elements, which resulted in a comforting backyard with beautiful landscaping and plantings. The work was completed incredibly fast with a refreshing attention to detail in all areas of work. Weeks after the work has been completed I still enjoy just looking at how fantastic each little element of my backyard comes together. I would recommend Marshall’s company to anyone without question.

Marshall and his crew were outstanding. The professionalism started with the best laid out quote of all we received, and ended with him trying to fix our underground sprinkler system that wasn't even part of the project. Our ability to communicate with him through email and pictures had to be the highlight as we would check progress each night and come up with subtle changes and feedback. Nothing but positive comments from all the neighbors and friends that have come by to have a look. We would have him back to do another job, and would highly recommend.

We used John to put in a complete watering system in our yard and he designed and installed just what we wanted and ask for and also installed a new lawn and we couldn't be happier. He does great work.

Incredible deals on plants. $15 for a #5 Emerald Green. $7.25 for most #1 plants. This place beats Home Depot on price and quality.
