I found my forever Plumber! Dylan at Kamakoa fixed my dripping tub when another plumbing company couldn't. Dylan was friendly, professional and clearly knows his stuff. The prices are reasonable and not inflated like the previous company I used. I was so impressed with his work that I also had him change out my main water shut off valve while he was here. Dylan's work ethic is high. You will NOT be disappointed!

Dylan from Kamakoa Plumbing Solutions was absolutely fantastic. I needed two new hose spigots installed, and I wanted something with a handle that was easy for older hands to operate. He created custom fixtures for me with long handles instead of little hard-to-grip knobs, and they're perfect.

Not only that, but he worked fast and clean, and charged about half what everyone else was quoting. Dylan is my go-to plumber from now on. He should be yours too.

Dylan is AMAZING. Hard to find an honest and reliable plumber, but he one. He came out for an emergency and quickly solved the problem. We had a corroded connection that left us with no water pressure and water gushing from our well pump. I would definitely call him again. I told him we are now family. LOL

Got to work with Dylan and Travis and I think they did a wonderful job explaining what they were doing and let me know what steps I can take to ensure home safety aloft the plumbing through the winter months. If you guys have any plumbing needs give them a call!

Timely and communicative. We needed a couple small plumbing jobs to be done and this company was efficient and thorough. We alap appreciate that Dylan took time to look at some projects in the house and explain the pros and cons of various house water filtration systems and hot water heaters that we are looking at.

A few months ago I had a clogged kitchen sink. Went straight to YouTube and tried everything - pea trap, boiled water, snaking, plunger. Nothing worked. Called several plumbers and either got no answer or they couldn’t come out for days/weeks. Couldn’t go long without use of the kitchen sink. Finally found Kamakoa Plumbing. Dylan was very responsive and able to come out that day! He showed up at the scheduled time, evaluated the situation and was able to fix the problem within 1 hour. Turned out to be a large clog, likely from grease build up over the years. He used a professional grade snake that was long enough to get to the clog. I was so grateful to have my kitchen sink back in working order. Dylan was very professional and even sends text messages to let you know when he is en route to your location.
More recently, I found a water spot in my dining room ceiling right below the master bath on the second floor. Called up Dylan and he was able to come out the next morning. Once again, he showed up right on time and went right to work. He evaluated the situation and diagnosed the problem. Thankfully it wasn’t a plumbing issue, just some deteriorating caulk at the edge of the shower allowing water to drip through a crack in the tile floor. While he was here he cleaned out the drain and inspected the shower for any cracks/leaks. Even though he didn’t have to fix anything I had peace of mind to know that the plumbing was fine and there were no other leaks. Thankful to have found Dylan. Dylan replaced an old leaky shower faucet with a new modern Delta one. He also replaced the shower head with a new adjustable spray shower head. No more drips, guaranteed! It took him less than two hours to connect the new faucet to the existing copper pipes.

Dylan was professional, and very thorough. He solved my drain problem, checked out the drain lines to ensure that his solution would work before going forward, and didn't try to upsell me on BS. Highly recommend.

My water heater finally died. Dylan was here super quickly, drained the old unit and had it replaced very quickly. He showed me the gunk that came out of the old tank and coached me on the importance of draining the tank at least once a year going forward. I would recommend Kamakoa and will be calling him first when we next need a plumber.

We had our dishwasher installed by Kamakoa plumbing. There were some other minor plumbing issues that prevented us from getting it done by the Home Depot and probably broke our old dishwasher. Dylan and his co worker were great! They installed the dishwasher and also fixed the valve issue. They were on time, efficient, didn’t up sell us on anything, and transparent with their pricing. I would absolutely recommend them and will call for any other plumbing needs we have.

100% this business deserves a five star review. About two weeks ago, our shower handle broke in the later evening hours. While I stood there in the shower, unable to shut it off because the screw that holds the handle in place had sheared off. We shut the water off, but couldn't remove the cartridge. All the tools that one could buy from the local hardware stores require the screw to be intact. After three hours of trying to fix it ourselves, my husband finally relented when I said we should call someone. The first person I called told me that any person coming to the house would incur a $150 service charge and then any work done would be on top of that, but they had someone they could dispatch in the morning between 8 - 12. I called Kamakoa next and Dylan said he could be there between 12 - 1PM. His service fee was $50 and if he performed any work for us, the $50 comes off that total. Narrower service window, lower service charge, service charge coming off the total and a current google rating that was higher than the other guy makes him a win :) When he came the next day, he was so kind and so polite and professional. Without us saying anything he had shoe covers ready to go and came up to assess the situation. He gave me two quotes: The first was to extract the cartridge (which seemed improbable) and the second was to cut out the cartridge out and replace it. I chose the second option and he had it done within a couple of hours. I would 100% recommend Kamakoa to anyone. He's fast, professional, and has such a charming demeanor. Thank you, Dylan!!!
