HVAC reviews in McMinnville, Oregon

Called to see if they could work on gas fireplaces and they give you Newberg Handyman's number which he is not even licensed to do that. So my advice find someone else to do work on your gas fireplace if you have one.

Mike and Sterling did a good job replacing our heat pumps…reliable and dependable

Furnace needed a repair. The technician showed up right on schedule and did a great job. I have heat again. I can't thank them enough.

Next time your diver wants to pull into the plaid pantry in mcminnville at 30mph almost raking out my door then almost shoving my girl out of the for the coffee machine he's going to catch hands

Sold me a whole sale York unit that has not worked correctly since install. Dr hvac sent a service tech out to my home charged me for him to come out & my unit still does not work. Complained to BBB & Dr hvac did not respond to them either

This company dumps filters in closest dumpster? They recently serviced our building. All the filters were put in my cardboard recycling bin. Shady very shady operation. Take your own trash

Perfect Service. Punctual and trustworthy. Honest, helpful and would recommend 👌 would and have used them again.

They are a 3poor excuse for a hvac company in Mcminnville. They reschedule and do not keep the appointment. The service contract they offer is a joke. The will not respond when you ask for a service according to the contract, or will not provide the service as advertised. Use another company and save yourself the fustration.

York heating unit was installed on our new home by Dr Hvac 3 years ago . I was told over the phone it would cost 81.00 each way (20) miles to make the repair I was charged $112.00 each way . Then the sensor was cleaned not replaced and it is working fine . The thermostat is under warranty so he replaced it . He charged &160.00 to replace the Free item a 10 minute job ! They charged us nearly $400.00 to clean a sensor and replace the under warranty thermostat ... find someone else , sorry to say !

If you're looking for a pushy, over-bearing, slightly guilt-trippy sales experience, go with these guys. The guy came to our place and started bad-mouthing several other AC places around town, you know how it goes, "don't tell anyone I told you this, but...." If their people are any reflection of the company, it's value, service or handiwork, then I won't ever talk to this place or recommend it to any of my friends.

Dr HVAC has super knowledgeable technicians who can diagnose and fix issues thoroughly and quickly, because they have so much experience! Love them!

We call Dr. HVAC on a Friday and Michael(I think) was right out and helped us. We have an oil furnace that many techs do not know how to work on any more. Michael helped us and we are warm! Thank you

During the busy season, they were able to accommodate me and came out SAME DAY when all other hvac were a week out. John was knowledgeable, fast, professional, knew exactly what the problem was, ordered parts to get here and replaced parts-all within18 hours!!! THAT is customer service! I have heat!

I had this company come and give me an Estimate for repairing my Heat pump. They told us that we had multiple issues and would cost more than $1000 to repair. I had another company come out and give em a second opinion. They looked it over and said all we needed was a Refrigerant top off and did not even charge me for that. The lack of Integrity is disturbing

I was treated very rudely over the phone by the same person multiple times. She was unwilling to help and work with our issue on a HVAC system they had been servicing for years. Therefore, we went with a different company to replace a $600 motor. Customer service goes a long way.

So there was supposed to be out here a long time ago we were supposed to be out to fix my ac unit two weeks ago in light of everything Brad there tech guy installed a new compressor ours was no good and he said the reason why is cuz the filters hadn't been changed for so long that if you don't change your filters out on your systems you are going to run into problems everything from not working properly to you know pumps going bad so they got out here he's done a great job explain to me what I need to do to keep it running better at all times like change the filters I really appreciate him taking the time to show me that.yeah in the end he was very professional and did a very good job Thank you Brad.and the 50

You can do much better than Dr HVAC, someone who is willing to put a band aid on something to make money off of you. I suggest Valley Heating & Cooling, Tri County Temp Control, or Judson’s.
The AC wasn’t working. Dr HVAC’s first offer was to replace the compressor ($1900), the second offer was to replace the AC ($4600). And this is after I had them out the previous summer and spent @$360 to replace the capacitor (so this money was now down the tubes).
I called out a different HVAC contractor, someone I knew and trusted, who ran additional tests and said to just replace the compressor, like Dr HVAC offered, would be just putting a band aid on it, that there was significant acids, contaminants and deterioration in the lines, etc., and the only wise choice was to replace the entire system. He also said the outside unit was not sized correctly for the inside unit. This was the fault of the original installer, Gormley Heating and Cooling, which Dr HVAC took over. The system only lasted a pathetic 16 years (I think in part do to the incorrect sizing of units) and you would think Dr HVAC would feel a little responsibility to stand behind the installs of the company he took over.
Dr HVAC is also overpriced compared to the other numbers I was getting from other HVAC contractors. -
DR HVAC has provided great service to us for 18 years. Service Technician Brad is always excellent.

Dr. Hvac is a below average company that thrives on taking advantage of customers not having any knowledge of the Hvac industry. The company also rips there employees off by not paying benefits and overtime. This is suppose to be a union shop but 75% of all the work is done by none union workers. If you support unions I would recommend calling another company. If the owners would like to dispute this review then I will be more than happy to get into detail on these issues.

I was more than happy and satisfied with the job Mr. Amin did from Dr. HVAC
I do highly recommend using this particular company for their honesty professionalism and great prices as well well the financing options.
Kind Regards
