We bought a new house on the coast and we have used them twice. Once to install an outlet for a freezer in the garage and the other time to replace the light switches in the house with smart switches and put up a chandelier. Both times they were prompt when coming out. Everyone on the team is friendly this includes calling in and scheduling and the electrician who came out.

We will use them again when we’re ready to install a generator for the entire house.

Aboveboard scheduled me first thing in the morning! I was without power from a faulty meter box. They put in a whole new assembly then contacted the power company for me and by noon I was back with power. They took care of everything. And their price was very reasonable. thank you Guy and Aboveboard Electric!

I have used Aboveboard Electric several times and have been quite happy with the service. They arrived when they said they would and were very professional. I have several projects that I will have them perform for me that we discussed. Aboveboard will defiantly be my go-to electrical service.

They showed up on time, called 30 minutes before arrival, and were polite and professional. Overpriced, but I'll pay for the service! What a rarity here on the coast!

I want to start by saying we have used Aboveboard electric multiple times for various repairs and have been very pleased with their work. But as others have mentioned watch out for their charges. If you live in Lincoln city they will get you with drive time which was not disclosed prior to the work. I would have shopped around had I known I would be paying that much! Lesson learned and I will know for next time. If you are in the Newport area I would highly recommend them, their crew is great and works hard.

Great company with great employees! It was super easy to schedule an appointment. Jon, the electrical estimator came on time. He is very knowledgeable and attentive to details. I then met Misty, the customer service representative, who helped me with the quote and deposit and scheduling the electrician installation. Mark, the electrician, came on time as well. He even texted me ahead of schedule to give an ETA. He put shoe protection on before walking in our house. Same as Jon, he is very professional and meticulous.
I have recommended them to a neighbor of mine and she was very satisfied with them.

They came out to unclog a toilet at my cafe. Not all things that plug a pipe are gross -- they pulled out a huge pair of workers protection glasses! Fast, friendly, efficient. Highly recommend!

Aboveboard Electric does great work. They were part of a large renovation we did and recently they replaced a couple of outside lights. They recommended the perfect replacements, scheduled promptly, and got the work done on the day they said they would. All was done with a cheerful, professional attitude. Highly recommended.

They were so great to come out immediately when we found a leak near a previous service call. They were quick and efficient and showed exactly where the leak was. I have older piping and they explained that I need to start planning for repiping in my modular home but hopefully in summer when dryer weather.

Have used AboveBoard for both electrical and plumbing issues on several houses. They are fantastic and the guy are reliable, courteous, conscientious, knowledgeable and respectful of people and property and dogs. :) The in office staff is helpful with questions and schedules. They are a one stop shop for needing both services and I appreciate that.

We live a few houses back from the beach, so damage to our exterior outlets from salt air, wind, and rain have cause GFCI switches to turn off outlets. I called for updated outlets and outlet covers (weather resistant-honestly there are no weather proof covers).
I expected multiple weeks of waiting, but an electrician showed up the next day!
The work was done well. The covers look solid. The work was done in an hour (4 outlets) and with courtesy.

Aboveboard lived up to their name and went above and beyond to help my family and house get back up and running fully. Dutch came out and did an assessment and determined that we would need a new electrical panel but was still able to troubleshoot and get the power to the half of the house that had been out, back up and running until an appointment could be made. I understand how busy businesses are and was willing to wait for an appointment for several weeks if needed, but was amazed that they were able to schedule me in much sooner than that. Dutch did an amazing job and left the site clean and functioning perfectly. Will recommend them to my friends and family.
