I called to get pricing information regarding tree trimming services for my parents. When I got a call back from Jim, I had stated exactly that as I have never gone through a tree trimming service personally. He told me that he could get out and get a bid for us next week and I said that was fine. I am sure that all of you guys are still crazy busy with downed trees and stuff from the ice storm. ( I was told this by another service today, which I completely understand.) He then responded with actually I don’t have time to run around and give bids. I am sorry I do not blindly pay for services, especially ones I have never used before. I felt very disrespected as a consumer.

Professional and no surprises. I messaged them via their website Friday evening. Got an email reply Saturday morning. Came out and gave me a quote, and did the work a few days later. Trimmed two large cedars, a pine tree (all 3 over 60 feet high) and a very neglected English Hawthorn. Took them two days and they all look excellent!! They removed the low hanging branches and cleaned out the dead wood in the trees thinning them out. Left the property spotless. Could not be more pleased. Highly recommend!!

What a great crew. They went the extra mile. Fell two trees, ground 5 stumps, and shredded degrees from 5 tall pine and fir trees I highly recommend them.

We were so very impressed with the work this crew did removing 4 very large trees from our property in Happy Valley. They were efficient and allowed us to keep the cedar chips. They chipped, big piles and even located them where we needed to spread them by. They were extremely tidy, which was really nice to come home at the end of the day and see the yard really coming to shape with the new void. They were helpful in recommending the new trees we needed to replace, where to purchase them and they planted them for us in a very professional way. We would highly recommend this company for any tree service.

We had a tree taken down and three others limbed and they look great. Everything was cleaned up with no mess left behind. They were easy to work with and very friendly. We will certainly use them again and highly recommend.

Great experience with Mangold’s Tree Service. The owner Brett, was able to take a look at the tree I had concerns with as it was right over our bedroom within a few days of calling. The appointment was in the evening after what I’m sure was long and taxing day of work. Upon our initial meeting Brett explained he would likely be able schedule within in 2-3 weeks and if I didn’t hear from him to call. Brett called me back right on schedule without prompting on my part. I had to put off scheduling for a few hours but when I called back, he was more than accommodating and was out the next day. Brett and his team took on quite a project with removal of an older rotting 75’-100’ sweet gum tree in our very small backyard with only minimal feet of clearance from my house, neighboring houses and fencing within a day and half (windy, rainy conditions). Great communication, friendly, answered all my question and worked within my budget. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

This company is awesome! We had a 70ft tree blow over, from the heavy winds, onto our roof. They responded immediately to my phone call and rearranged their schedule a bit to fit us in. They did an excellent job of getting the tree off of our roof with no damage to any other trees, other shrubbery or our fence. They tarped and secured the roof to avoid any other damage from the rain. They were able to cut up the tree and haul it away the next day. They tamped down the area where the tree had been uprooted. They were also so patient in waiting for the insurance check to come through. Very professional and friendly too. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They will be my first call in the event we need any further tree services. Thanks for a great job, Brett.

We were very pleased with Mangold's Tree Removal Service. They provided quality service and were timely and efficient. Not only did they efficiently and quickly remove a large number of trees, they also did an excellent job of removing or chipping the debris and creating burn piles with what remained. They were thoughtful with how they approached the project and were respectful with regard to the condition of the lot when they finished. They provided high quality service at reasonable price.

Mangolds Tree Service did an awesome job removing three trees and a trim up on a large fir. One was of a large Maple right up against two neighboring fences and our shed. Perfect work in a tight place! These guys were efficient and very professional. I would highly recommend them!

We had a 120 foot Ponderosa Pine tree fall on our house during the Portland snow storm in January of this year. It also brought down a couple of our neighbors trees and was a scary situation. We contacted Brett and he came over to look at the scene. Just a few days later he and his crew came to remove the tree in freezing cold temperatures, tarp our roof and clean the debris. He was very reasonable and easy to work with, as were his crew. They come highly recommended, our neighbors also used their services and they returned to help us prune and remove a couple of other trees. Cannot speak highly enough of their services.

We had a tree fall on our home and vehicles from a windstorm in our area and after calling a number of arborists the general timeline was 2 to 3 weeks. I finally reached Mangolds Tree Service and dealt with Brett he was very friendly, informative, and was able to make it out that evening to help cut a pathway so we were not blocked in our driveway and unable to leave. He completed our estimate that evening and worked with our insurance company. Brett and his crew were out the next day to remove the tree and all the debris. Everyone was so kind, friendly and they were extremely efficient and quick. The total job took only a few hours. Based on our experience we would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree service and wants to deal with wonderful, honest and hard working people.

Brett's crew was helpful, agreeable, knowledgeable, and excellent in all ways. They removed 3 trees for me, one a massive maple in the middle of the yard. They moved a trailer out of the way for a chip pile to go right where I wanted it--no small ask. But also, no big deal. They left my yard tidier than when they came, and I'll hire them again: in fact, they're coming back soon for stump grinding and a small excavating job. Priced very reasonably. Mangolds is the real deal.

Brett was responsive on a Saturday morning in the middle of a snowstorm in Portland. We all know how much that means. An entire tree had fallen and was a scary situation..for me and my neighbor. To my surprise he came out in 15 degree weather, wind and snow and saved me. I highly recommend this company!
