Oakley Electric was wonderful to work with. Troy was gracious with his time, walking me through all the details of knob and tube wiring and the safest, most efficient approach to removing it. He made himself available for live conversations even before I committed to the project.
Troy’s team of electricians are top notch. The project lead, Matt, was knowledgeable and thorough, walking me through every aspect of the job as it progressed.

Matt did a wonderful, job with both high voltage and low voltage (cable) wiring and installation of fixtures. Getting a new cable outlet in a location not anticipated when the building was constructed a few decades ago was particularly challenging. He found a creative solution.

Nate was fantastic, super nice and professional. We were installing ceiling fans in two bedrooms and he worked around our toddlers nap time. Highly recommend

Well, I say to myself, welcome to the geriatric set. As a younger person, I was always the DIY type, and nothing would get me down. Now, 50-60 years later, I need to actually follow the rules on the side of safety not only for safety's sake, but also because I am now actually living in the realm of reality and aware I cannot do everything by myself.
I have used Oakley Electric in the past with fantastic service, and the same was true with today's visit by Bobby, who is a master journeyman in the Electrician trade. I called and spoke with Melanie, who scheduled Bobby to evaluate several things I needed fixing with lighting. Bobby arrived on time (actually a little early, which probably benefitted both of us!), and was so pleasant and nice to talk to, very approachable and also quite knowledgeable. He fixed three different light fixtures, one of which I wasn't able to reach, one that I feared I'd electrocute myself if trying to figure out what was wrong, and another one whose light cover was so heavy I wasn't able to put it back together after I'd changed the lightbulb. Bobby accomplished all three things pronto like he could do it in his sleep, and then I threw in another thing I was wondering about down in the basement, and I wasn't sure it would be appropriate to ask him to do a fourth thing, but he took a look at it, fixed it for me, and Presto! - we were done! I will definitely call Oakley Electric in the future if anything else needs an electrician's attention, and I also very highly recommend this company!

They flat out did not return my phone call. I assumed they didn't want the job so I hired another company.

The electrical work was done promptly and well. The electrician who did the work was both friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with the final product.

The electrician himself was kind enough, but we were charged twice for something that never was fixed. We asked them to come out and fix was original was worked on by them, and then charged us again and it still isn't working. I wish someone would have warned me before spending that amount of money with no result.

Had them redo our entire electrical panel and wiring prior to moving in and 6 years later are still having issues with electrical outlets not working and faulty wiring. Hire someone who knows what they are doing and don’t waste your time or money with Oakley Electric.

Our service technician Robert was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the price I paid was even less than they quoted. We had a particularly vexing problem and he was able to figure it out, get it fixed for us, and explain to me in layman's terms what he did so I actually felt more educated about how my house functions.

We were quoted 250$-300$ to install an outlet in our finished crawlspace; for a sump-pump and dehumidifier. The total was 420$.

The technician took two full hours @ 125$ first half hour and 105/hr after, to install said outlet(s) (The main foreman said he's seen guys do an entire crawlspace span in that time). The installation was literally on the other side of the wall from our main electric panel. The technician also reportedly used 140$ worth of materials to go 3 feet. We were charged for a new circuit breaker when in actuality, they used an existing one (it's ancient). He simply scratched out where it was labeled "Spare" and wrote in "Sub Pump".

The technician had a miscommunication with the general contractor, and installed more outlets than needed. (total of 6 ports, only needed 2). They are refusing to accept any responsibility, after the GC foreman explained to me that he specifically requested 2 outlets in two separate discussions.

Oakley is also overcharging for state mandated permits. They are the same price for everyone (much like a stamp). We were also given two different numbers for a minor label permit ($50 & $90).

After talking with the GC's foreman, I attempted to call Oakley back- sent straight to voicemail after 2 rings. Have yet to receive a callback.

Will NOT use again. NOT RECOMMENDED. BUYER BEWARE.

Great service and a nice clean Ceiling Fan install completed by Steven the electrician. He had to climb into the attic and set up a new power supply and cut a hole in the ceiling to install a new fan box and ceiling fan. He was very thorough and clean. Great personality and very skilled at his trade. I have confidence in Oakley electric and will be hiring them again soon for another job.

Unbelievable service! I called on the Wednesday before thanksgiving and they were booked a couple days out. The woman on the phone called back within an hour saying a technician had finished a job early and was willing to come out to my place that same afternoon to get the job done.

Cant say enough about how easy and efficient this process was. Oakley will always be my first call for electrical needs in the future!
