Angelo has been working with for most of this year getting my yard cleaned up, which involved a lot of weeding, pruning and laying bark. He also did all the heavy work involved in creating a hard scape for part of the front yard. I’ve really enjoyed working with him (and now his crew): he is a good communicator, polite, and fun to talk to. Highly recommended!

Angelo and his team are dedicated and capable and are particularly adept at the jobs that feel impossibly large. Their prices are incredibly competitive and their work product shines!

I had a very disappointing experience with Angelo’s Landscaping. I chose them because the owner seemed knowledgeable about native habitats and confident in his ability to install rain gardens, which led me to believe they were the right company for the job. I hired them to install two rain gardens in my backyard, with the quote explicitly stating that they would be connected to my downspouts. However, after the work was completed, I discovered that the downspouts weren’t connected—I essentially paid $1,600 for two holes in my yard.

When I raised this issue, I was told there was a “miscommunication” and that they assumed I would handle the connections myself. If that were truly the case, the quote should have reflected that. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner said he sensed "hostility" in my tone. He did offer to come out and connect the downspouts, but I had no interest in having someone who claimed I sounded "hostile" back at my home. How can a company claim to install rain gardens without ensuring they actually receive rainwater? To make matters worse, the shape and depth of the rain garden bowl isn't as expected and the gardens included no river rock or mulch—just bare soil with native plants that I personally sourced and purchased, despite the high price tag. Now, I’m left fixing and completing the project myself.

Additionally, the crew used my personal equipment without permission and broke my wheelbarrow. While the owner offered to replace it, he never once apologized for the miscommunication, the damage, or the inconvenience.

The only positive aspect of this experience was their removal of rock and raised beds from my side yard, which was done well for an additional $400. Unfortunately, that doesn’t outweigh the poor communication, lack of accountability, and subpar work. I feel like I was misled and would not recommend this company.

Edit to address the response from the owner:

1. My review reflects my honest experience. I was satisfied with the cleanup but disappointed with the rain gardens. If my intent were retaliation, I wouldn’t have paid promptly or given more than a one star review. Negative reviews are not acts of retaliation.

2. Angelo’s claim that I’m cheap is baseless. If price were my priority, I would have stayed with my original landscaper. His attempt to deflect blame onto another company speaks volumes about his character.

3. I was never hostile in my emails—any hostility perceived was on Angelo’s end. Tone can be hard to interpret in text, but if he thought I was upset, a simple phone call to resolve the issue would have been the professional approach. Instead, he chose to label me as hostile via email.

4. Angelo did offer to pay for the wheelbarrow and connect the downspouts, but I declined because I didn't feel comfortable having someone who mischaracterized me at my home. His offer to “alleviate issues” was more about saving face than true accountability. A professional would have simply apologized and taken responsibility.

Angelo and his team did an outstanding job on our yard! We had a variety of projects, ranging from general winter cleanup to clearing out areas overrun with weeds. It was a big undertaking, but Angelo and his team handled it with ease. The team was punctual, professional, and maintained excellent communication throughout the process. Not only did they deliver high-quality work, but their pricing was also very reasonable. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Angelo again for our future landscaping projects!

We recently hired Angelo for our small HOA and I can say that I am impressed already! Timely, quick, and did a great job. The landscaping already looks better after day 1.

Adorable little inside shop. Great quality pots for not insanely high prices. Got the red bowl for 19 dollars and 2 different succulents(1 pot had two!) for 10. The heavy clay pot is smooth and soft.

It was raining so I did not explore the outside just yet. I have a membership so I will be back! It's time to garden everyone~
