Using LawnStarter is easy and stress-free. I can get my lawn taken care of on a regular schedule without having to call around for service when it needs mowing, and can easily make changes through the app. It's more expensive than the local teenager, but far more dependable and simpler.

Really did a good job. Had a elite company prior and the job they did wasn't as good as guys from lawn starter did!

I needed service right away for an overgrown lawn, and received an immediate reply and scheduled service in just a few days. The cost was way less than the big lawn companies. The contracted team met with me to complete the job exactly as I needed

They promised all kinds of things to get me to sign up. I was told we have plenty of vendors in your area. Two scheduled appointments and both times no one showed. They didn’t even bother contacting me. I had to contact them. Be aware because they will promise and tell you whatever you need to hear to get you to sign up. Total scam. Again stay away!

I called for service at which time they gladly got my visa number to have on file. Two days before they were supposed to come do our lawn I got an email that service was cancelled due to not having a team in my area. I rebooked for the second time and a week later got another cancel due to no team in my area. I would have never given them my visa number had I been told they might cancel. Poor business practice Lawn Starter!

Signed up and had my first two services picked up for a 4 day window then they did not show up both times but made me wait until the night of the last day to cancel. It was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. If you sign up beware of this happening. I was extremely unimpressed with this service and do not recommend.

LawnStarter is a life saver! My mower broke and my yard needed rescuing and they did a wonderful job! At a price I could afford!

Quoted a completely different price, about 3.5 times more before I was even able to open my front door and even greet the person let alone talk about the yard. The only thing that was told to me is that I needed to approve a new quote, which was way more than the 49-51 I was quoted, would not recommend for the price or the professionalism since I guess it’s what they say because the guy just walked away when we didn’t approve cost.

Called this company in the beginning of July looking for lawn work to be done. Honestly now that I look back on it, it was odd they asked for my card number before I had any services done. I was told to make an account and set up an appointment and the card is just to keep on file just incase the one I pay with once services are done bounces. I then found another company to go with instead. Without signing anything, making an account, etc. I totally spaced I had even given them a card number. Fast forward to August I look at my bank statements and I have been charged every week, WITHOUT ANY SERVICES. I NEVER SIGNED AN AGREEMENT. THEY HAVE NEVER TOUCHED MY LAWN. I have tried calling atleast 7 times, leaving a voicemail every time! I am always sent straight to voicemail, saying the line is too busy and that they will call back. When I do get a call back it’s an automated message. I have emailed them also. No one has gotten back to me. I checked my junk mail and turns out they have been emailing me every week asking how the services have been? AGAIN, NEVER HAVE TOUCHED MY LAWN. Never made an actual appointment to have them come out to my house. Now I am getting emails asking to update my card because payments are not going through, since then I have obviously cancelled that card. Surprised because they seem to have decent reviews, but for me this has just been a huge scam. Don’t go with them.

Our recent provider first delayed our scheduled mowing service by over a week and now they have no showed after the delay. This is not the first time we've had an inconsistent service provider. We need reliability and this app is underperforming in that regard. Additionally, because our lawn wasn't mowed on time, now we are at risk of a long grass fee. The app is not user friendly for purposes of rescheduling and reporting problems so I’m taking my review to Google.

Update: after getting automated emails from the messages I sent through the app saying LS would get back to me on a 3-day delay, someone from LS called me at 6:33 AM. I called back at their customer service line at 8:30 AM. After waiting on hold, I was sent to voicemail. I put this on Google so that anyone considering LS has a window into how LS operates and can then make an informed decision on where to direct their lawn care business. LS is out of touch with its customers and its customers’ needs.

I was quoted by Lawn Starter $51 for my back yard to be mowed. The grass was long. I needed a winter clean up of a couple long branches to be removed. The first scheduled job no one showed up, then the 2nd crew did not show up. Finally a crew showed up and did a horrible job, did not remove the limbs did not blow grass off the patio and gave me a verbal quote of 129 and they would come back and get rid of the limbs. Later when I went on the website I was being billed 379. Saying a crew would come out to fix the lawn. I disagreed with the bill and asked for someone to call me no one has called no one has showed up and those morning my bill is over $400 for an upcoming visit. I have tried calling no one answers. STAY AWAY THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS

I just tried lawnstarter to maintain my yard. Jason and his crew hustled to mow, trim, weed and clean up afterwards. It was a great experience, and my yard looks great.

Unreliable. The first service was great but after that we were canceled on 6 times in a row. Every week, I got a message in the app that the service was canceled. Twice for weather but 4 times for what was stated as a "personal problem" in the message from the crew. They did allow me to cancel my subscription and waived the "3 mow minimum " for me but it was super frustrating being canceled on so many times.

The customer service is horrible. They hire people that don't have the tools to do WHAT THEY ADVERTISE. They have guys that will scam you out of money by doing sections with out discussion and charging you extra to do it with out discussion. And not doing the back yard that they are supposed to do. If your company says they do edging and your customer says they aren't doing it. Then you should owe me money. I've canceled this service just find some local people you'll probably have better communication with them then you would with lawn starter. (Ps there are some good people working for/with them but the bad just over shadows them)
