We worked with Steve to have our yard leveled, sod placed down and arborvitaes installed. We had some complications given that the day it was all installed was also the hottest day of the year so far and some of the grass browned immediately. We had concerns but Steve, although very busy, was very nice and responded to our texts with recommendations of having to water as much as possible. It all worked out in the end and we are grateful for a beautiful and very green yard :) The guys that laid the sod down are also very nice people to work with.

Do not book with Sunrise Landscapers!!! We booked them on 4/19 to have sod laid on 5/11. I paid my initial deposit on 4/19 and then on 5/6 paid another deposit where Phylis said she would order sod to be delivered to my house on 5/10. On 5/10 no sod arrived. I called Phylis who said “she forgot to order the sod”. She then said “we can do the prep on Saturday afternoon because we have a job in the morning”. Well how would you have another job if you were supposed to be at my house at 8:00? I asked for a discount to which they replied “asking for a discount is a red flag for us so we will just return your deposit”. Horrible experience and a giant waste of time.

Easy and very professional in contacting for a bid. Steve arrived about 10 mins early and reviewed my yard and went over all my needs, questions and had great recommendations. I am still in the contemplation phase so haven’t scheduled the job, but based on their professionalism and quick, timely response, they are ranking high on my list!
Their bid seemed to be average and I’m budgeting to see what I can afford and hope to make a decision soon! Thanks Sunrise!! Highly recommend to others needing a clean up based on what I’ve mentioned.

They charged us $242.50 for driving time, only did 2/3 of the agreed upon work and then said they weren't aware that we had discussed additional landscape clean up.

The estimate clearly stated $100/hour for work discussed on April 1st.

Steve said we would have to book another day to do that. Another drive time charge and giving our business to a forgetful company? No thanks.

I am sure we’ll see a dismissive reply from Steve. This guy sure likes to do that.

My backyard was extremely overgrown and it needed a huge cleanup. I reached out to Sunrise Landscapers for help and that same day Steve came by to take a look at the yard and give me a quote. A couple days later they came back to do the work. They did an incredible job at clearing everything out and making the yard look beautiful. They also went above and beyond to make sure the work was exactly what I needed. Amazing customer service and yard work. I'll definitely be reaching out to them again for future landscaping projects or maintenance.

We were thrilled with the work of Steve and his crew. They replaced our sod with new garden beds, selected and planted a variety of dog-friendly plants, and cleaned out the existing garden beds. They also built and installed new cedar raised vegetable beds. Steve was responsive, professional, and courteous. The quality of the work was outstanding - our neighbor even hired Steve after seeing what they had done. Great value, highly recommended!

Came through and did his job only once he was done cutting and trimming he used his blower to blow everything into and onto my truck, if you want to wash your car everytime they do work hire them

I hired Sunrise to do a huge cleanup of my property and gardens and plant six trees when surgery took me out of commission this spring. I’m so grateful I did. Sunrise Landscapers have easily been my favorite partners to work with on any home project since we moved to Portland. The quality is fantastic, pricing is fair, and the communication is great. Steve and his crew are always professional, on time (early), and proactive. I recently had an unexpected permit delay that had to pause two full days of work that was scheduled with a full crew. Phyllis and Steve rescheduled me for the following week with no complaints or hassle -- even though my mistake certainly caused plenty of headaches for them. Just top notch across the board.

I just want to express my experience with Sunrise Landscapers. I had a leaking problem with my irrigation system and Steve and his associates came to my home in a timely matter and quickly fixed the problem. They installed new parts that were better than the prior parts and now I should not have any further problems in this area.

Sunrise Landscape Professionals completed a beautiful backyard redesign and landscape for me. They were a pleasure to work with. The entire team was timely, hard working, extremely careful of existing structure(s) and plantings and conscientious in cleanup! Steve offered solutions to challenges in design that were great improvements and readily incorporated! Additionally, Phyllis in the office was helpful and efficient and a delight to work with. Steve and his team just completed my spring cleanup and they did a fabulous job at a fair price. They are scheduled to do our sprinkler service next week. I would recommend them for your landscape services. Phyllis is also great.

When the weather turned warm in June, we attempted to turn on our automatic sprinkler system but it did not work. After much trial and error, we made a call to Sunrise Landscape. Luckily, Steve happened to be in the area and offered to come and identify the problem. He came within the next 20 mins and worked his magic to fix our system in an hour. Steve is very professional, as well as friendly, and really cares about his customers. He even noticed a couple of sprinkler heads that needed replacing. We are very pleased with the outcome of our association with Steve and his company. We will not hesitate to call Sunrise Landscape again. Highly recommend!

He came to the house at the agreed time. They charge $195 for the 1st hour + parts. He changed a few sprinkler heads & located a few that we're overgrown...but he didn't dig around them or clip the grass which should have been part of the service IMO. He didn't have all the parts he needed so he did come back the next morning & installed the parts as agreed upon. All in all I wouldn't hire them again because he didn't take the initiative to dig out 3 or 4 sprinkler heads that needed to be dug out nor did he change out sprinkler heads that were functional but damaged. He just did the bare minimum.

Good experience from start to finish, Steve was very responsive and came to review the idea I had for my project. He was helpful in his suggestions and very reasonably priced. The people who came to complete the work were efficient and communicative. Everything was settled easily and I love the results!

They did an excellent job cleaning up an overgrown yard. Fast and affordable.

Johnny made my yard look amazingly neat and clean and took a lot of work off my agenda. I’m very pleased!
