Had 3 trees removed from my property as well as a safety trim on a tree that lost a lot of branches last year. Everything was great except for the communication from their office. Won't return phone calls promptly and gave vague arrival times. I have a dog and he needed to be locked up for whenever they came but I never knew when that was

Edited this review to reflect changes - the owner showed up within an hour of my call, heard us out & apologized. He also offered to trim one of our trees as a way to make it right. Really appreciate that level of attentiveness, all things considered. From what I can see, looks like a job well done on the large tree removal and i feel confident that similar miscommumication won't happen again.

Original review: Our next door neighbor contracted with this company to have a large tree removed. I moved my cars out of my front driveway so that no debris fell on them, and the company completely pulled onto my driveway/property and proceded to do nearly the entire project from there, dropping tons of debris and unstaking multiple trees on my property, damaging them in the process. I was never once asked if it was okay to pull onto my property, and when asking about the trees I was met with dismissiveness and an "oops" attitude. People were inside our house the entire time and were never once asked if it was okay to come onto the property, much less to unstake/move trees (unrelated to the job) or to move our trailer. Luckily I was able to interrupt my meeting to shout out the window at them, as they were about to cut one of my trees back "to reach better", and argued back and forth with me that "it'll grow back".

Mark came out to my business property and gave me a job estimate for a fallen tree. He went above and beyond the call of duty in educating and empowering me to make the best decision for my situation... even if it meant hiring a different. He provided a fair bid and was very friendly and helpful!

Nathan is a true professional! He did a superb job on pruning five tree's that needed to meet the City code height in a timely manner. The crew also helped and did a great job cleaning up! I am a Landscape business owner and I highly recommend Elite Tree Service 100%

UPDATE 8/1/2019- I did highly refereed Elite Tree Services to a friend/co-worker and I am honestly embarrassed I did. I only ever worked with Mark and he was great and on time with me in Jan. 2019 but the guy that my friend/co-worker worked with was Nathan and he sounds like he has no idea whats going on and that he does not communicate with Mark. Over all I was told that the tree cutting went well but that Nathan and his crew didn't clean up well or put her property back the way it was before he started. Hopefully it will all get corrected sooner than later because I feel bad for referring Elite Tree and that my friend/co-worker didn't get the good service I got.

We were beyond happy with Mark and his team. Everyone was very nice, down to earth, on time for all services and they cleaned up great! Also, super reasonable in price. Highly recommend Elite Tree Service.

When building my detached garage I found that I needed some tree limbs trimmed back to give room.
I called Elite and they came out on short notice and gave a reasonable quote and had the job done within hours.
I was very impressed with the quality, attention to detail, awesome price and professionalism of the Elite team.

I can't say enough good things about Elite Tree Service. They were responsive, handled the entire permit process with the city, and did an incredibly thorough and thoughtful job with our tree-trimming project. The arborists are extremely skilled and fast. Clean-up after the project was also very thorough. I'll be using Elite Tree Service for all my tree-care needs.

Last week (Nov 4-7, 2019) Elite Tree Service removed an enormous Cottonwood (~130' high x ~50' wide) that was in a very tight location between homes & other structures. They did a very professional and precision job of getting it down safely with no damage to any buildings. Nathan the tree climber was a master at his trade and Mark Moffat the owner was really good to deal with. He followed through on every detail and everything was cleaned up perfectly. Thank you to the whole crew for getting a very problematic tree down, I would highly recommend this business.

Great people, great price, great respone time. I never leave reviews but had to for them. They were so quick to come out and help me with my fallen tree that I've now used them three times for thinning out my cedar and taking care of my stumps.

Again, great people who do great work. If you're looking for a company to take care of your trees in any way then call them!

We had Elite Tree Service trim trees back from beside and over four Multi level Town home buildings, cut invasive tree roots away from the buildings and remove two full grown maple trees. The three day work required Elite to secure tree removal permits and utility underground Locator services. While the work was in progress I went to the project site because I was concerned the crew may not take seriously enough the fact that below one of the trees they were going to stump grind ran the internet wiring for four residences. I was very impressed with the whole crew's skill and expertise. My visit coincided with the tree felled half way down. The two fellows working on cutting down the tree were easy to talk with and prior had been made aware of my concern. The whole project from beginning to end went super smooth and done with superb skill.

Elite Tree Service did an amazing job cutting down 100ft tall fir trees just a few feet from my house. I was astounded by their skill and precision! Mark gave a thorough assessment on my property, clearly from years of experience in the PNW and happy to negotiate to work within my budget.

Mark and Jamie were heaven sent to me! A tree fell on my home during the 2024 ice storm and out of nowhere Mark knocks on my door. He offered to move the tree off my home. His price was better than anyone I had reached out to. His employees worked quickly, professionally and left no footprint. Jamie actually came to my home and picked up payment! I think highly of this business and would absolutely be a return customer and I highly recommend them for all your tree needs!!!

I am thrilled to share I got exceptional tree service from Elite Tree Service. Elite Tree all crew members did an amazing job done on my property. Mark gave me affordable, excellent and uncomparable price to other tree service companies. They removed big fir tree including stump and trimmed other 2 trees. I am very very happy and satisfied the work they completed. The entire crew members are experienced, hard worker, very careful, detailed, open to accept comments and accomplished their work successfully. Mark sent Kelly the second time to grind the remaining stump I noticed later. If you looking for any tree service, I am strongly encouraged you to talk Elite Tree Service before you make a decision with other tree service companies. In the future definitely I will work with Elite Tree Services for my other trees. Now I am ready to the long winter and no worried regarding my trees.

The blizzard yesterday blew out a neighbor's fence which partially uprooted a tree in our yard and threatened both ours' and a different neighbor's house with its inevitable fall. Elite not only braved the weather, but did so expediently and before the tree fell, something it was actively threatening as they worked on it. These people went above and beyond and we are grateful for their alacrity, professionalism, and skill. Though I hope I don't have to worry about another tree falling, I know who to call if one does.

Elite did work for me in two phases… one for storm cleanup and another for further removal. The crew was great and professional and looked like they were having a good time while working. Nathan is an acrobat and true arborist dropping trees right in the planned spot. I had 8 60’ Spruce trees removed and they were great. Would recommend these guys to anyone. Prices are fair and work/cleanup and stump grinding all in the bid. Excellent company!!

They came out and told me what they would charge and I scheduled the service. They showed up when they said and did a great job. They cleared out all the dead limb stumps where the previous owner had tried to trim it himself and opened up the yard for more light and less wind resistance. They also installed a cable 70’ up since this tree is a twin and those sometimes split apart. They cut off the low hanging limbs that made it asymmetrical. Before and after shots are attached to this review so you can see what all they did. They cleaned up and left the larger stuff chopped and stacked for firewood.

We had Elite Tree Services scheduled for next week, but we had some tree branches drop onto a neighbor's home and into their yard. We called them and fortunately were able to come almost 2 weeks prior to when they were scheduled.

They were reasonably priced, great workers, did an excellent job and did what they said they would, and on time. The wood was hauled away when they were finished, and the yard was completely cleaned of debris when they were done. I would recommend them to anyone needing a tree cut down or any trimming, as we will definitely use them again when needed.

They are experienced & professional. They removed a massive Redwood Cedar which was very tightly squeezed between our house and the neighbor's. They also beautifully trimmed a 2nd smaller Cedar, and rapidly removed a Thundercloud Plum. Mark's bid was excellent, and they stuck to it, no matter (some wind and rain). Kelly is extremely good humored, and he and his crew are good natured, amazing craftsmen. Cannot recommend more! A big thanks to them all!

Had Zack and the crew to my house in Tigard today. He had 3 others and a challenging situation with our willow branch in the backyard. They were very professional and courteous to my family and I as they took care of the large problem. What made it more challenging was our playhouse and fence directly below the broken willow extension. I would use them again and recommend them to all!

My neighbor used AAA and her yard looks great! Ours? Not so much. Attached is a picture of some of the branches that fell onto our fence and into our garden --the picture makes them look small, but some are several feet long. Our roof is covered with sawdust, as well. We were home and sure wish they had asked to come into our yard to clean up what they dropped ... :(
