A big shout-out to these folks. They were helpful, prompt, efficient, considerate, and took time to answer all of my questions. I was told my official report would be ready on a Monday and it was delivered early the Friday before - a classic example of under-promise and over-deliver! Highly recommend.

We had Eric out to our home in La Center. Fast, Efficient and very knowledgeable. I would highly reccomend them!

Very pleased with the service I received. John came out and located and uncovered a leak in our service from the street. The location of the leak was non-obvious, and I would have never found it without him. He was very pleasant and a nice guy to work with. I would recommend this service to anyone in need.

I have water leaking in from the outside (through my siding), and these folks were recommended to me. They came and were unable to find the leak. I was unhappy and they contacted me after and wanted to make it right. They offered either a refund or other eyes on the problem. I chose the refund, but the point is that they were solidly customer oriented and willing to work with me honestly. This is all I can ask from a company/service. Maybe wouldn't recommend for locating siding leaks, but I would absolutely call them again should any other leak occur.

Tanner did a great job in finding our water leak. He inspected the plumbing in our house first and then inspected the water line outside. He pinpointed the problem in our water line outside after various tests. A job well done!

I knew there was a leak somewhere in my house because the water usage was higher than expected, so calling American Leak Detection of Portland would mean the beginning of a process I would prefer to never have to go through. Fortunately it started painlessly- Tony was professional, informative, and friendly (while doing a great job social distancing). I like to understand the process of what's going on with home repairs and Tony clearly answered all my questions. He finished in a timely manner then informed me of what I should do next and what I could expect. Tony's proficiency will support the longevity of my home and was deserving of the money spent.

These guys were great! We had an issue with our irrigation system not working so I called ALD and they were able to send someone out the same day that I called. Then the tech located the leak within an hour of knocking on my door. He was even able to show me the pipe that was broken. Customer service was great, friendly technician -- very happy.

Grant C was awesome to work with. Grant was able to answer all of my questions, provided great service, and helped give me an unbiased opinion on what further plumbing services I needed. He was able to clearly explain the issue I was dealing with and what the next possible options were.

Great experience! I called to address high water bills in a rental property. Rachel was an absolute joy to work with- friendly, professional and efficient. She ended up contacting my tenant and diagnosing a leaking toilet… which saved us $300. They also don’t do plumbing repairs which saves folks from my last leak detection experience with a different plumber who tried to scam me for $25k worth of repiping in exposed pipes that were neither leaking nor decomposing. I recently detected a leak in my in ground pool and was referred to American Leak Detection for specialized service. They promptly had availability for an evaluation appt and sent a knowledgable technician, John Lyon, to do the assessment. He was experienced, professional and provided a comprehensive assessment to locate the pool leak in addition to explaining the process and addressing all my questions. Once the leak was located, he provided a solution for resolution. I highly recommend this company.

My dad had Tony out this morning to try and find a leak. Although no leak was detected, Tony was very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. My dad would definitely recommend their services to anyone!

Pete was here right on time. He was pleasant and professional. He got right to work and put me at ease about the process. Pete explained the process as he went ( I was one of the underfoot customers I admit). I would highly recommend ALD to everyone i know. I was lucky and the leak was not under any of my concrete or blacktop. Even though I have a leak to fix i am smiling at how accurate and straightforward the process has been using American Leak Detection. I swear Pete should have a red cape because he was superman this morning

It’s rare to find service businesses that are totally honest with you. American detection did everything they could to help me solve the problem before they even came out. They actually cared about the situation going on and the service person they sent to come out the next day Did not try to upsell me on anything. In fact, he told me I did not have a problem. Plumbing and pipes are not in my wheelhouse so it’s kind of a gamble to trust who you bring out to look at these things. Definitely you can trust this company! From the person who answered the phone, Rachel… Who did quite a bit of troubleshooting on the phone with me to Peter who came out and knew exactly where to start. Excellent company, extremely pleased.

I had an outstanding experience with Robert Cummings from American Leak Detection. After two other plumbing companies failed to identify the leak at my multiplex, Robert came out and quickly found the issue. He wasn’t afraid to get into the water meter box, which was completely filled with water, and took the initiative to pump it out. Within minutes, he pinpointed the exact source of the leak and clearly explained what was happening. He was surprised that the previous companies couldn't figure it out (as was I), but Robert’s expertise made all the difference.

His communication was excellent, he resolved the issue efficiently, and even reduced my total quoted cost for him coming out since he resolved it so quickly. I highly recommend him and American Leak Detection for their professionalism and top-notch service! Also, this company is the company that Portland City uses for leaks and etc. So just save yourself time and headache and go with them!

Peter was professional, on time and very helpful in finding our leak between the meter and house. Less than $500 to find it in under 30 minutes saving me lots of headache. 🤕! Totally recommend these guys

While the non-urgent issue was scheduled for five days out they had an opening and pulled me in to the next day. John was right on time and super helpful. He found many issues, all of which I was lucky enough to have the parts to immediately fix. Not a job I could have easily done without their great help. Thanks

Excellent service and while I hope we never have to call again... I definitely would and I recommend them highly. Our service person Peter got right to work, communicated with us clearly, was efficient and very pleasant, and seems to have identified the source of the leak and where our plumbers should dig. Also they were able to schedule us right away which was great because we had to shut off the water to the house until the leak is fixed. 5 stars plus to ALD and Peter!
