I recently had American Leak Detection come help my elderly mother in law with her high water bill. Our technician, Grant was wonderful. He fully explained the process from start to finish, and found the leak quickly and efficiently. He took the time to explain what he found, and how to fix the problem saving us a lot of money otherwise spent with a plumber. I would highly recommend him to any other friends or family members. These guys are the best! They were thorough and found the leak in my yard. They even came back out a second time and dug down to the pipe to confirm the leak when our landscaper couldn’t find it. Their customer service is above and beyond! Highly recommend them!

John and Tanner did an amazing job on the repairs to our very old ungrounded pool. They replaced the skimmer and also had to dig very deep to reach a couple of main drain leaks. The concrete work they did after the repair was an amazing match to the existing concrete. Very satisfied customer here.

I have nothing but positive things to say about American Leak Detection of Portland. First, Rachel was a gem. She walked me through ways to check for a leak on my own without paying for them to come out. She also answered many questions of mine via e-mail and phone. Then, there was John. He was prompt, nice, helpful, and professional. Although he could not find a reason for my high water bill usage amount and could not find a leak anywhere, he did a thorough job of looking to come up with any possible explanation. He also walked us through things we could keep an eye out for in the future. I will definitely be using this company again if I have a leak that I need detected.

I’ll repeat what others have described: responsive, on time, professional, effective. Peter came out this morning, asked good questions, listened, and promptly got to work. He located the leak in minutes and dug out around it (failed PEX connection), making my plumbers job easier.

Will call American Leak Detection without hesitation if I (god forbid) need their services again.

We had Robert Cummings come down to check out a leak. He was fast yet thorough, and overall a chill guy to visit with while he worked. He also had lots of great suggestions for the next steps in sorting out a leak. I would highly recommend him and this service should the need arise(hopefully not) in the near future.

This company was recommended to me by a friend when I received a notice that the sprinkler system needed to be checked. That was ten years ago. I get a reminder call every year, the system is checked, and a letter is sent to the water company. Very professional, responsible, and fast service. I highly recommend Aqua-Tech.

I have yet to read the other reviews, but I saw the low star rating. I suppose I don’t even have to look at the other reviews; it does leave me a little baffled. We had to have a backflow test for our sprinkler system per the city of Gresham. We thought we didn’t have to have one due to the sprinkler system not being in use nor being active for probably a decade (as we purchased this home from a previous owner within a year). Regardless, in order to avoid a hefty fine and our water turned off, we called this company. They came out within a few hours. They completed the test. I thought my husband paid, he had not. A month later we received an I nvoice saying we still owed the money. They came out and helped us out even though they received no funds immediately after the service. To me, that’s a pretty big deal. I would definitely use them again.

CJ went beyond the call of duty. I needed an estimate for a whole house filtration system and when he looked at the well log was concerned about the flo rate so did a flo test to be sure the well was pumping enough gallons per minute.
He has a great reputation with Realtors in our area. His has great ethics is honest and does a wonderful job.
His prices are very good.

Aqua-Tech should be your first choice for annual Backflow Services. They put you on a calendar system and call every year at same time. Flexible on arrival hours if needed. Prompt, very friendly service every year for so many. I wish all my contractors were this amazing and reliable.

George is personable , professional and really knows his stuff. He took the time to clean/ repair a part at no extra charge when he could have charged us for replacing and installing a new part. Looking for an honest, friendly, professional backflow tester... Look no further.
