Great service from start to finish at a very reasonable price. They took out a huge ash tree that had grown on an angle and into a mess of power, telephone and cable TV lines. They got it all out without damaging any of the surrounding shrubbery or wires. They came on time, were very courteous, worked fast, ground the stump, and cleaned all the debris. Highly recommended.

We've used Mike's company many times at our home and restaurant. They have removed trees, ground many stumps, pruned and cabled. They are always reasonably priced, fast, friendly and tidy. We highly recommend them!

This company did a wonderful & professional job for us. The people who removed the two, very large, trees did a great job. They were careful, and as far as I'm concerned went above & beyond what I had expected. They even cut up the tree to rounds at a size which we could manage. About 1 month later the stumps were ready to remove and they came and grinded the stumps in a couple of hours. Mike always returned my calls or texts within a day and was able to answer all of my questions and concerns.

We called Mike for a bid after the February Ice storm in the Portland area. We had allot of damaged trees it looked like a tornado went through our back yard. Mike came to our house the same day we called him. He gave us a written bid before he left that was much lower then the first bid we got and close to the two we got after him. He also stated that even though he was very busy he would try and work us in as quickly as possible. We decided to go with his bid and I was pleasantly surprised when he put us on his schedule for the next week. His crew arrived on time and on the date he told us. I was a little concerned when I saw it was only a two person crew we had a lot of trees that needed trimming and at least three that needed to be removed. The other problem is there is no easy access to our back yard. Every thing has to be packed up hill to the front of the house. I quickly realized though that I did not need to worry. His crew worked hard and efficiently from the time they started till the end of the day. It only took 2 full days to trim and remove the storm damaged trees and a few hours on a third day to chip every thing up. They even left my driveway cleaner then when they started. I could not be happier with Mikes Pruning and tree care. We recommended Mike's Pruning and Tree Care to our neighbors. To our surprise they were able to finish that job after ours and before leaving the neighborhood. We highly recommend this Mike's Pruning and Tree Care.

Mike & his crew did an amazing job on an overgrown backyard! Mike’s bid was the most reasonable of the three I got and he gave me info on the process and the reason for doing it. Excellent communication. His crew was on time, professional, friendly, and courteous, all qualities I appreciate. The work was efficient, the cleanup thorough and complete. I am very happy with the work done and because of these reasons I give Mike and his crew a 5 star rating.

I hired Mike's crew to prune/shape several large trees, as well as remove some shrubby trees and grind out the stumps. His team was great - super friendly, helpful, professional and efficient. When I realized I had wanted a more aggressive pruning than I had communicated, his crew came back the next day and did additional work to make sure I was happy. I really appreciated that. Would definitely work with them again!

Mike came to check out the job. He wrote me a full estimate with a price on the spot & had an opening within a week.
They showed up with a bucket truck, chipper, and ready to go! Mike and his crew were safe, quick, and very pleasant people to work with.

Every phase of this project was a positive experience. The consultation was a collaborative effort with me, and never condescending. The price was reasonable. The crew demonstrated a lot of experience and the work was done safely and with care. The tree trimming was expertly done with great results, and they wrapped up all the loose ends with thoughtfulness and consideration. Do yourself a favor and hire these guys.

I highly recommend Mike and his team! I had 2 very large limbs from my fir tree fall on my house. Mike came right away to assess damage and determined it was safe to wait till his team could remove everything from my home the next morning. A few days later his team trimmed 4 fruit trees that had been scheduled previously. Everything was done perfectly and clean up superb! Even cleaned off my winter dirty patio in the process. Everyone is very professional and kind. I’m having them remove the large problem fir tree next to my house. Thank you Mike and team.

After calling several tree companies that took days to respond, and getting a very high bid, I found Mike's. Mike answered and came over in a few hours, and his bid was 25% lower. He scheduled in a couple days, his crew was nice, and they did a great job. Did everything right-highly recommended.

2025- Re review! Had Mikes Pruning and Tree Care Service come back for some overdue Oregon growth! They did an amazing job all around my house on a variety of trees and laurel. Additionally- we had them remove some old scrappy holly which isn’t the most pleasant to work with. 😆

Mike is a pleasure to work with and his crew are wonderful. I now have sun light back on my yard, a safe fir tree for the inevitable ice storm ahead, and laurel that resembles a bush instead of an enormous towering wall. Additionally after all that, all debris was cleaned up thoroughly. Highly recommend using Mikes Pruning and Tree Service. Be sure to look up Mikes Pruning as there is another biz called Mikes Trees and they are VERY different.

2021- Mikes Pruning and Tree Care services were fantastic. I had a combination of multiple trees trimmed and a ginormous laurel removed. Mike's bid was the most reasonable among 3 other bids. He and his team were thorough and tidy with their clean up efforts. I highly recommend the company, great people!

Mike and his team were excellent to work with, I highly recommend them. Mike is responsive and helpful, he answered all my questions and gave me great information and advice during the quote process without ever being pushy. The team did an excellent job when they came to do the work, they worked fast, were thorough, communicated with us as needed throughout the day, and took care to clean up our yard and our neighbor's. Very reasonable price for all of the work and the major impact it had for our space!

Mike’s crew is amazing. They are professional, responsive and reliable. Very hard working and do a fantastic job. I recommend them hands down. We had a tough job on a steep hill and the crew had no problem navigating. He had agile tree climbers. One of our trees was 60ft tall. Thank you Mike. Very reasonable prices. He beat all quotes I got.

I've used Mike's service a few times now. Back about 2 years ago they took down about 18 trees for me in my yard that were dead. Then recently another tree that fell on my neighbors house due to an ice storm. The tree has started to die off in the last year and the storm really took it out,

Mike’s team came and in about 5 hours had safely cut down a 50 ft pine tree in our front yard, removed all of the debris, swept the street and left the place looking like nothing had happened! They were very skilled and great to work with.

Great work by this company, Mike’s crew (Eric) did an amazing job pruning my apple tree. There was attention to detail, focus on the tree’s health, and care for aesthetic.
