Constraction reviews in Salem, Oregon

Called for a quote came out the same day. Emailed the quote the night of. I Had received other quotes that were very similar in price to his, but his quick response and communication is why I chose them. They did a fabulous job. My property looks great everything I asked for they completed and I would highly recommend them. The price is right as well. Great job Smile A Mile!

Great customer engagement, understood the urgency that we had and did it with great detail and quality. Orlando’s work was perfect and Arturo was always quick with responses to my questions. All around a great experience. Thank you

Arturo’s crew did an excellent job painting our two-story large house. They were very respectful to us and our home. They did not get defensive when pointing out something that needed addressing. We are very picky customers and they completed the job with no incident. We enjoyed working with this company in Salem and would hire them again in the future.

Arturo and his team did a superb job painting my house. They were thorough and diligent in their work. Arturo brought several samples to help us chose the right color. They used top of line Sherwin Williams paint. Overall we are very happy with the work and their professionalism.

Arturo was very easy to communicate with. His team was very accommodating and got my house project completed in a timely manner.

I had the opportunity to work with Smile-A-Mile on a 2 apartment project in Lebanon. Winston & Arturo were able to help me meet a tight timeline. We initially thought it would be a 3 day job and when there was still some items to complete Smile-A-Mile showed through on Sunday to make sure the rest of the project could be completed on Monday. Smile-A-Mile did an impeccable job and I will definitely be calling them for my next project. This team truly cares for their customers and follow through with excellent quality.

I have used Smile a mile painting on numerous occasions as a real estate broker. The people and workmanship are very good. Showed up on time each day and did beautiful work. For several years they have been my go to painting contractor.

Amazing job! Arturo, Juan, and Orlando did excellent work painting the exterior of our home. They exceeded my expectations and ensured we were satisfied throughout the process.

Contacted for stucco wall damage. The repair was promptly done and Smile-A-Mile worked arduously to match the existing paint that had weathered over time. Very pleased with the result. Will hire them again.

W cannot speak more highly of the Smile-A-Mile crew! They are very professional and friendly. We had a very reasonable estimate that fit our budget. They were always on time and worked diligently throughout the day and a couple days until sunset! Our home really needed some clean up, living a couple blocks from the ocean here in Yachats OR. They power washed, scrapped, sanded, and did all the prep work necessary. They painted 3 days and did excellent work! They cleaned up everything after they were done. Now feel like I live in a new home! Thank you so much to the crew. We will call Smile-a-Mile anytime we need painting in the future.

Update: 10/31/23 Troubles with paint bubbling and pealing in places. We had sold the home. New owners called (5 times) and we hope Smile-a-Mile will take care of the problems. So far no response. We also are contacting. I added 3 photos of what the paint looks like as of this date.

Prior to moving the front door paint started pealing. They came out and painted it again but is it still holding?

I will change my star rating IF and when this is remedied. If it isn't the star rating goes to 1.

Dec 2023: Glad to update with excellent reviews. Smile-a-Mile contacted the new owners of our home and repainted. New owners very satisfied.

We had Smile-A-Mile perform the interior painting for our office remodel and they did a great job! They came in with a team and got the job done in 2 days when the rest of the companies were quoting 5! Aurturo was great to work with, as was Winston. Very communicative which is a plus these days. Would hire them again!!

The painters are excellent at their jobs. Very professional and attention to detail. Communication wasn’t the best though and we weren’t always sure when they’d be here or when they’d finish. To be fair, they had to work around weather issues. All told, we are very happy with the paint jobs. They did nice work.

I cannot speak more highly of the professional work that Arturo and his crew did for me in painting the exterior of my house.

I was pretty anxious during the process but Arturo continued to calm me and assure me that my house would look great!! With his help, we picked the right colors and he was right, it looked great!!

He even suggested painting the brick the accent color. I was nervous but not Arturo. He even told me if I didn’t like it, he’d change it. But I loved it. He painted brick on the front patio as well as the chimney. Everything came out beautiful.

Alex headed the work crew and he made sure everything that was removed from walls, etc, was put back. He made sure that I was happy.

I would not hesitate to refer them to others as well as hiring them again myself. I’ve already had compliments from my neighbors and friends on how great the house looks.

Smile a mile painting was great. Our painters, Arturo and Juan were fantastic and detail oriented. Arturo would frequently check in with us to make sure we were happy with how things were turning out and make corrections as needed. I would recommend this company .

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’m absolutely thrilled with how my house turned out! From start to finish, the crew was professional, punctual, and detail-oriented. They helped me bring my vision to life with clean lines, bold trim, and a fresh, flawless finish. The transformation was dramatic and exactly what I was hoping for. I’d recommend them in a heartbeat—quality work and great communication the whole way through!

Arturo and his crew of painters did a fantastic job painting most of our home’s interior. It was very high quality work. They helped move the furniture and then put everything back nicely. They used enamel paint to make our cabinetry look like new and took great care not to leave any mess when they finished. I can highly recommend this company and their very nice and highly skilled workers.

The work included painting interior walls, ceiling, baseboard, crown molding, and doors.

After getting 4 bids, Arturo with Smile-A-Mile Painting gave us close to the lowest bid. But what made the difference was not just the price, but their commitment to moving things in the house and willingness to go the extra mile to secure the work. Other contractors made it clear that we would be responsible for moving everything out of the way and then moving it back, which would have been difficult for us.

We did unload the bookshelves, china cabinet, and move smaller items things like lamps and small chairs ourselves in preparation. But true to their word, they moved the larger things as expected. Holes and cracks were patched, and molding was caulked. I requested fixtures be removed rather than being taped off, and the complied without complaint.

The Sherman Willaims paint covered well. There were some touch-ups needed here and there, but they promptly took care of them.

The project did take twice as long than expected. Honestly, I was disappointed that more painters were not put on job to speed things up. We pretty much had just two guys doing the painting, but they were friendly and easy to work with. We had a modest language barrier, but it was workable. English was a second language for these guys, but I'm the typical American with only (embarrassingly) one language. My hat is off to Moses and Alex.

Although the extra time was inconvenient, we managed. The work was done over the Christmas and New Years holidays with short work weeks. This may have been a factor in not having more painters on the project. Also, the humidity was very high as we had high rainfall during this period, making paint slower to dry between coats.

We find Arturo very professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He cares that we are happy with the work as it progressed and when it was completed.

I am usually a do-it-yourself type of person for work like this, but between getting older, needing the whole house painted (and not wanting to take a year to do all of it myself), we opted to hiring a contractor and I am glad that we did. They did a very good job, and I would hire them again.

From start of our project until the finish it was a very professional experience. I feel they went above and beyond what we contracted them to do in our home. We had our home completely repainted on the inside while most of our homes furniture and belongings where still inside. It was professionally covered and everything went smoothly. I was given several small upgrades such as new light switch, electrical plug covers and new trim all at no cost. That was a $450 upgrade for free. After the job was completed the entire painting crew went through our home cleaning any spills, and did a general cleaning. Very nice gentleman

Jairo is a hard-working, detail-oriented handyman capable of a large variety of jobs. He is also a very kind, trustworthy person. He always tries to fit my project to my budget and leave me happy and satisfied. He also always lets me know when there are good, cheaper alternatives and then lets me decide what I want. Not pushy at all. As a woman I feel comfortable when home alone with him working; he is always very respectful and listens well. I highly recommend him!
