Tree reviews in Salem, Oregon

Trees Plus Northwest is an absolute delight to work with, and they get the job done so quickly! We called about a few trees that we needed removed and they were able to get out the next day for a quote, then were able to book us right away and get them taken down the next week! They were so quick to get back to us and are super reliable. We actually had them come back for a few more trees that were falling down plus some stump and had the same experience. 10/10 would recommend.

Wow, we are very pleased happy and grateful to have a wonderful experience with Trees Plus Northwest. As it happened, Trees+NW was attending to a neighbors yard. We approached to ask if they may have time to cut down a few overgrown bushes ready to push over the back fence. A kind gentleman came over to have a look and offered us an amazingly economical and pocket pleasing estimate! The efficiency work and clean up was spot on great. We highly recommend Trees Plus Northwest for any of your concerns and do intend to contact them again in the future.

Update 2023, three years later: DJ and his crew came out this morning to trim back the apple tree. They were all absolutely great and did a terrific job. I'm very happy to be a return customer and still recommend Trees Plus NW to everyone.

Leo and the crew from Trees Plus were fantastic. Great communication from start to finish. Quick response with the inspection/quote to the work taking place the next day. I will definitely be recommending Trees Plus to all of my friends and family. They deserve more than 5 stars.

From getting an estimate for tree services to the completion of the project, this company and their employees were fantastic. We really appreciated their professionalism and the great customer service. We needed 3 trees removed as well as trimming of two very large Douglas firs and a large Cedar. The crew arrived on time, verified the work to be done and completed it, along with the clean up, in just over 2 hours. We highly recommend this company for any tree services you may need.

I have used Trees Plus on 2 different occasions. The price was very reasonable and lower than the competitors that I requested a quote from. The workers were courteous and respectful of my neighbors property (the trees were removed near a common property line). They worked very hard and were very professional. I was extremely pleased with their excellent work. I would not hesitate to hire them again and would not even consider getting a 2nd quote from a competitor. I know that they will give me a fair, reasonable and competitive price, with exceptional service. I am very satisfied and highly recommend them to others. Mike Hoge

A couple of years ago, Leo and his crew removed a tree that was impacting my home's foundation. The job was performed quickly and efficiently, and they left the yard cleaner than they found it!
A few weeks ago, we noticed some dying limbs on one of our maple trees and, given our excellent experience previously, I reached out to them again to do the work. The service this time was equally efficient!
I would not hesitate to recommend them - in fact, that is what I am doing right now!!!

John and his crew were absolutely wonderful! I needed one tree to be removed and two others pruned in preparation for my house going on the market, and everything—from contacting the office, to getting an estimate, to having the crew come out and do the work—was completed in one day. The crew worked together like a well oiled machine, and they picked up every scrap from the yard when they were done, and even swept the street to remove what the chipper had dropped. For sure, Trees Plus Northwest is the best tree company I’ve ever dealt with!

They did a great job removing two big dangerous trees near my house. They patiently helped with the process of getting a necessary city permit. Communication was good. Their workers were professional and efficient and they got both trees out in one day. The cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

We had a neighbor's oak tree that is overhanging three neighbors. This tree was dropping HUGE branches weighing literally hundreds of pounds on everyone's property, including the oak tree owner's property. After one branch fell and destroyed my next door neighbor's fence and shed, we knew we needed to protect our property and ourselves and have the branches that were overhanging our property removed. Trees Plus Northwest came out and made a very good bid. We hired them and we could not be happier with their service. They were on time. They are professional. They did EXACTLY what we wanted them to do. They did excellent work. We trust them 100% and when we need tree service again, will will have Trees Plus Northwest do the work.

Highly recommend. Arborist is knowledgeable. Communication was good. The quote was fair. The crew was very polite and after the job, our yard was cleaner than when they first arrived -- my husband and I were very happy about that! It was a complicated job that required the crew to go into a neighbor's yard. No complaints from the neighbor. Everything went smoothly.

Awesome service. Took down a large tree in a confined space as well as full clean-up with no damage whatsoever.

Excellent service from start to finish. I chose to use Trees Plus NW based on the google reviews and a recommendation from a neighbor. We had some large fir trees on a fairly steep slope that I wanted removed. The estimator arrived promptly and did a thorough job explaining how the job would be done. I was very impressed with how precisely they could drop the trees where they needed to land. Every day they arrived when they said they would and did a great job cleaning up at the end of each day. Thank you Leo, Maria and your crew, I really appreciate it!

Trees Plus Northwest did a fantastic job on several trees at my home today. I highly recommend them!

Can we give a double 5 STAR Review? All of the fantastic reviews are 100% spot on. Everything you want and need when the times comes to hire a professional arborist and tree removal company.

From the first phone call, from the expert coming out to give a bid, to the work being completed. Everything was professional, they kept us informed, and the work was done as promised, and the clean up was fast and efficient.

The crew was fantastic as well with a professional manner.

Amazing and wonderful service that is unmatched. Just hire them!

I will share my experience. We entered into an agreement with this company to cut down a tree, delimb it, cut it into rounds, and chip the limbs. They understood that the timing of the work was essential to us.

They arrived late, cut down the tree, and then left. They said that because the field was wet they couldn't get the chipper in to do the work. However, in my opinion the reality was that, because they were late and had another job that day, they could not take the time to finish my job. I even asked them to at least delimb the tree and cut it into rounds (a soggy field doesn't matter for that), but they said no.

So, my experience is that this is a company that does a lot of volume and if anything goes wrong (like arriving late), they won't think twice about not finishing your job.

They men themselves seemed nice enough. The company just lacks professionalism.

Take a look at the mess they left me!

Second time hiring Trees Plus NW and I will definitely hire them again when the need arises. They have been great to work with. Fast, SAFE and professional.

I had to get two streetscape trees planted to satisfy a city requirement for my new construction home and needed them to be placed in the center of a surface gravel area. I didn't want to fight the gravel and dig deep enough to plant the trees ok. Leo came out at no cost to check out the site and answered a bunch of questions I had. He was clearly knowledgeable about trees and explained things in a way that I could understand. They got me a reasonable estimate and after agreeing, scheduled me right away. I couldn't be on site when they were installed but my trust was well placed. When I went back to check out the trees they looked great, had multiple support posts to secure it against the heavy wind (we're right next to a windy field), and they were even mulched around the trunk. I have a watery low point on the construction site about 20 feet away from the trees, they moved the excess soil there where it was clearly needed. Service was beyond what I expected. Very pleased!

These guys are fantastic! We had 3 trees removed. They came early and were done before noon. They cleaned up all bark chips and debris. They returned to remove the stumps and again were efficient in getting the job done. We highly recommend this company. Great people too!

The Trees Plus NW crew did a great job, from the job estimation and recommendation to the actual trimming and thinning of our walnut tree. They were very careful and cautious to avoid and protect the bushes, fully flowered dwarf apple trees and other foliage, followed up with a great and. Omelette cleanup. We would highly recommend them for their quality work and competitive pricing.

We got a daily rate and John was able to get soooo much accomplished. Our house was overrun by overgrown tree branches and invading species. We let them do their work and came out at the end of their workday and wow! The difference was very significant. The walking paths in our backyard had opened up, more sunlight was entering our home, and all the branches that were touching the home had been removed so we could actually see our house. We will definitely be using this company in the future.

Very professional crew that did a thorough job on 3 trees. Cleaned up well and were respectful of our tenants spaces.
