They completely remodeled our bathroom down to the studs and rebuilt everything. It turned out absolutely amazing! They show great attention to detail and clean up throughly everyday before leaving. We have also used them to tear out a garage conversion and so some much needed repair work needed around the house. We plan on using them for future projects down the road. We highly recommend Michael Scnear Contracting. Michael, Pete, Miguel and Christian we are all wonderful to work with!

Our family had a fire at our home and had to scramble to get things put together. Pete was an absolute pleasure to work with! He got us an estimate quickly, worked with our insurance company seamlessly, scheduled subcontractors diligently, and completed our project on time (actually a week early)! Highly recommend this company to my clients, friends, and family.

I have used Scnear Contracting on 2 occasions. The first was after the recent fires in my area. Luckily my house survived, but, needed a great deal of cleaning and some repairs. Peter handled all the cleaning scheduling, dealt with the cleaning companies, repair contractors and the insurance company making the process easy and stress free. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. Peter was at the house to meet every contractor and make sure everyone was preforming to his standards. Other houses on my street that had less damage and started clean up sooner are still being worked on. (6 months later).
The other project was after the fire. I had Scnear built a studio for my wife’s office/art room. Again, I was very impressed with Micheal, Peter and their crew. They showed up as scheduled, work efficiently and did very good work. I believe they did a very good job, more importantly, my wife thinks they a great job.

Any remodeling project is a challenge. A remodeling project when you live more than 550 miles away can be a nightmare. Thanks to Michael Scnear Contracting the home we bought in Eugene turned out exactly as we had hoped! Michael Scnear, Peter VanderBogart and their crews did a wonderful job. Their work was excellent, their suggestions as to how to approach issues with the house were extremely helpful, and their willingness to put in extra effort to meet our deadline was wonderful. I would definitely recommend them.

Our home sustained smoke damage from last years Holiday Farm Fire. Pemco insurance recommended Pete VanderBogart from Michael Scnear Contracting to assist us with these repairs. From the very first call Pete has been professional and responsive, overseeing the cleanup of our attic, heat and air ducts (and still to be done garage). The workers and services he arranged have been prompt, courteous and great to work with and Pete always followed up to be sure we were satisfied. Pete also went above and beyond and offered to provide much needed barn doors for my studio - a 'wish list' item but very necessary to my work. Pete arranged to have doors custom made by McClusky Cabinets. Michael Scnear came out to measure and shortly thereafter Pete, Michael and crew delivered and installed these beautiful applewood barn doors. Though there was an issue with the install I felt completely comfortable discussing these details with Pete. We were touched by the very personal and thorough service we received and are thankful we had someone like Pete to oversee these projects. Great service we highly recommend! The only issue is we never got a call back to complete the spraying if our garage which was what was agreed for completion of our insurance claim!

Very professional and precise work done

We hired Ryan to rebuild a second story dormer after a rodent took up residence. Ryan knew exactly how to repair the dormer, make sure no rodents could get in again, replaced dry rot, painted, shingled and installed flashing. He built and installed a new garden gate. The work is superior. Ryan has a great work ethic and attitude. He is very competent and brings equally talented crew. He did the job on time and on budget. After years of unreliable or shoddy work from other contractors, we are so grateful to have found Ryan. We are already planning the next home improvement project with him.

We've used Ryan for two projects now. First, he removed a window and installed a sliding door with a transom window for us. A few months later, we used him for a tile backsplash in the kitchen. We were very happy with both projects. Ryan stuck to his word, and initial bid which was very reasonable. He was professional, and we LOVE our door and backsplash. Do you want foul language spilling all over your neighborhood?

These guys get it done. I had them pour 35,000 sq ft of concrete in a continuous pour this summer starting at midnight. They brought enough labor and mountains of equipment to complete the project. Prior to the pour we met and they had ideas to help the pour go smoothly that definitely helped the quality of the finished product. They are knowledgeable, easy to work with, prepared and want your product to be top notch. Pricing is quite comparable to other companies. I would not hesitate to use these guys for large commercial pours.

Leo and his team did a great job adding a slab of concrete in my backyard. His communication was simple and straightforward. I would definitely hire him and his team for future concrete projects.

Cleo and crew were very efficient and professional. They replaced a sidewalk and removed a huge concrete stoop to make way for my deck project. They accomplished this in one day when we planned for a two day job. Any future concrete work I have, I know who to call!
