Pro Tech handled a panel upgrade at our home. They were easy to communicate with and provided a professional efficient service.

We were without power for eleven days during an ice storm in February 2021 and we were determined that would never happen to us again [25° and no heat is not livable for us] so I started calling generator companies. Pro-Tech is the only one that responded and immediately sent someone out to give us a quote. They took a look at what we needed, answered all of our questions [and we had a lot!] and made a recommendation. At that time we were told it would be months before they would be able to get stock [we heard this from lots of companies and friends who were also trying to get generators] so we put ourselves on the list and waited. They were finally able to get us a generator [yay!] and sent us a detailed list and pictures of what we needed to do; build a 4' by 4' x 4" gravel pad and get a gas line installed [they also recommended a gas contractor, whom we used]. Pro-tech was responsible for all the electrical installation and the installation of the generator itself. There was a little bump in that the generator itself had a little glitch but Pro-Tech worked with the generator manufacturer [Cummins] and got everything fixed and we passed both the gas and electrical installations with no problem. Pro-Tech came out twice to train us on the start up and monthly test [now set-up as automatic] and were communicative and responsive throughout the process. Very happy with our decision to go with Pro-Tech!

Protech does a great job in their work and would highly recommend them. Very professional and great with the customer. Will use them again for future projects.

Hired Pro Tech Power as an electrical subcontractor and wow what a mess that was. So many issues we lost count. Be very careful if you are considering hiring them.

We had a power outage leaving our home unable to provide oxygen and other medical devices completely dependent on power. Of course it happened on a Sunday. Mike came by to check it for us and said he would be back after checking in with the owner Drew. Drew phoned at 6am and promised me that he would ensure power to be restored in a couple hours. I was extremely grateful. After much work locating the parts and being sold the wrong one, Drew drove the correct part a long distance to ensure he kept his word. I would highly recommend this company, and it's employees to anyone. They are diligent, kind, honest and their work is impeccable.

I have worked with Protech for a couple of years now. I'm a GC and they have always come through for me. Andrew, Drew, and Rosa have always been very helpful in the whole process of electrical remodeling. All of their electricians always go above and beyond and stand by their work always.

ProTech was the electrical contractor on our new home build. We had frustrations from the beginning with poor planning and lack of knowledge about the spec’d fixtures and electrical equipment.

There was continued staff turnover at ProTech with little oversight or on-site management which resulted in many errors. As problems and questions arose, we were repeatedly asked to solve them for ProTech - even basic questions about fixture install that we’re spec’d at the beginning of the project. We spent countless hours researching and resolving issues for ProTech to try and keep things moving forward.

Issues continued throughout the project and included lighting configuration mistakes, missed circuits and inconsistent wiring through the house as it was installed by different crews. It was so difficult to get things done, we eventually gave up and removed some items to simplify scope given the lack of knowledge. Quality issues such as damaged wiring and missing circuits were only discovered after the walls were closed making troubleshooting and repair very expensive.

ProTech quit the project after billing us 80% which resulted in us spending tens of thousands more than our original contract with another contractor to fix ProTech’s mistakes and finish the project.

With so many quality electricians in the area, I wouldn’t risk hiring ProTech for anything other than the most basic tasks.

Update: It's a year later and we're still discovering and dealing with problems from ProTech's rough in. It's amazing how many issues can be caused by one subcontractor.

This was a minor replacement of a breaker which had failed. The technician immediately recognized that the wrong breaker had been installed previously - hence its failure. Wonderful expertise to solve my problem heat pump which has run perfectly ever since.

The office ladies were amazing and always there to answer my questions. They went above normal customer service!

Lio and Zach were early to the appointment and stayed until it was finished. I can’t thank them enough for going above normal service to get my hot tub connected. Both are so professional and pleasant to talk to. They really took the time to listen and hear me. They deserve 100 stars!

Pro Tech Power has delivered on several projects for me since 2022. Everyone there has been very courteous and likeable and have done very competent work. I have other projects I will call them back for.

We've been using Pro-Tech for 8 years. First for construction of our home and most recently for running power to and wiring a new barn. Dozens of jobs/projects in between, including a Cummins NG generator that has kept our lights on through many power outages.

Mike and his team did a great job giving us ideas of lighting for our building prior to installation. They installed a couple of lights first to make sure that we were going to be happy with the end result and then came back a few days later to complete the project. Pro Tech Power came out and moved my breaker box from inside the house to the outside, installed security lights and installed several light fixtures. The guys were very professional: cleaned up after, knew how to change old old wiring to add light switches. I am very satisfied! Would definitely use them again and have recommended them to family and friends!
