Mr. Handyman repaired a precarious drop ceiling above a very high 3 story stairwell where I work. Very well done!

In this time of national cruelty I was treated in the most kind manner I have ever experienced. I had a very small project that at 80 years of age I could not complete. I am impressed with the character of this business and would highly recommend

Jake did a great job installing a faucet and garbage disposal. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

Jake was fantastic. He repaired the damage done by another plumber and went on to provide excellent and careful service. He is amazing and I cannot recommend him enough.

Drywall repair, caulking, kitchen sink replacement, light fitting removal, all great work done with care. Will definitely be working with My Handyman in the future!

Hired Mr. Handyman to fix lumpy drywall around a doorway leftover from a different contractor who wasn’t able to correct the issue. Our repair person, Jay, did a great job identifying the issue that the other contractor had overlooked, and performed a lot of work to correct the problem without doing more than was needed. The end result is the wall/doorway (which is very prominent in the main living room) looks great now. Jay was also good about communicating the scope of work, timing, and providing updates. Excellent job, and many thanks!

Buyer beware they did no repairs whatsoever and told me one thing was too old to repair(just took a look from the outside) and then told me my dishwasher was broken. That’s why I called them to fix those things but no. So buyer beware

The quality of their work is top-notch, and their customer service is second to none. The went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a handyman. I'll definitely be a returning customer!

-10 stars. I hired Mr. Handyman a couple of months ago to repair and texture walls that were damaged when I stripped some old wood paneling off. They took a day longer than planned which was fine and wanted to charge me an extra $1,200 which was not.
    1. They sprayed over several electrical sockets
    2. They sprayed over a window
    3. They didn't use drop cloths or use painters plastic or anything to cover stairs they were working above to keep them free of dust until my roommates confronted them about it.
    4. They didn't mask off my living room which was right across from an entryway they were working on and as a result everything in my living room was covered in dust. (this was also due to a different set of contractors that were working using fans. Overlapped because of the extra day but it should have been masked off as there was debris in the living room from the first day they started working.)
    4. They left cigarette butts on the sidewalk and right of way in front of my house.
    5. One of the workers was fairly old and a smoker. I went home for lunch the second day to see where they were at and as I ate lunch saw he became out of breathe from sitting on the floor slowly applying mud to damaged areas. The reason for the extra day was revealed as he worked alone for two days. On the third and last day of work they must have been really behind because they had to get another van of dudes to come help.
    6. They removed some sliding door shades when they were spraying which was fine and understandable but then didn't put them back on when they were done working because the texture had to dry. Nothing they would have put back was touching the wall or the texture.
    7. They billed me for more hours than they actually worked.
    8. Never advised me that the amount they were charging was going to change like he was required to per their company policies.
    9. I called and left a message about issues I discovered after the first day of work. But was later told this call and message was never received.
    10. Because they went over an extra day the other contractors that were refinishing my countertops and showers had to refinish both showers first. Resulting in my roommates and I finding gyms close to our works that had free trials so we had a convenient place to shower for a couple of days until the showers cured and I had time to put the fixtures back on.
    11. As a result of the mess resulting in the interaction of these two companies I had to clean my hours for 15+ hrs before I stopped finding dust everywhere.

When i went over all these issues with the owner of the company, with a couple of exceptions, he didn't take responsibility and instead tried to explain away what had happened or find excuses to try and get out of the mistakes his company had made. I refused to pay the extra amount they were asking for because of these issues. We e-mailed back and forth several times about this. I get a letter delivered the next week that had been mailed a week to the day that they first started the job saying that as contractors they had a right to put a lien on my house for unpaid services performed. When I told them I was going to report them to the BBB and the CCB for their actions they relented and I paid the original amount quoted for the job.

    Take your business elsewhere.

You gotta be kidding me! $700 to replace 4 cabinet door hinges. Communication was poor at best and the original estimate was clearly to get us to bite. Will absolutely never call these people again!

Tim did an awesome job with my small project of rehanging my shed door and replacing a board on the door. He was punctual, knowledgable and very efficient. Will definitely recommend your services to anyone who has need for handyman services.

Everything was easy from the scheduling of the appointment, the communication leading up to the appointment, Andre arriving right on time, and the service that he provided.

One part had to be ordered, but I’m confident that once it drives that the rest will go just as smoothly as the first visit.

They came to my condo to replace a faucet on extremely short notice, as I was preparing to go on a cross-country road trip literally the next day. They did it the same day for $443, which included the materials (two-handle goose neck kitchen faucet, sprayer, and water supply hoses). Took about an hour. Tim, the repair technician, was kind and professional.

Jay was super pleasant, knowledgeable about the project and well prepared. My pocket door was fixed in no time and arrangements to return and install an outlet negated my having to hire an expensive electrician. The staff at Mr. Handyman were also very pleasant. They go all out to keep you posted on where everything is in the stream of time. I like how they give you a picture of your handyman so you know it's him.

We were uncertain about our 1st visit but Tim helped us in our home so much, we had him do a film on a 96” window which came out beautiful then he took down a ceiling fan and added another. His work was done promptly and answered all our questions. Excellent customer service.

The technician showed up early, was pleasant and informative. We removed the damaged screen and had a new one installed in less than 20 minutes. Excellent response time and service.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.
We hired them 8-9 months ago to do some odd jobs. The last was to replace a large shattered window. We pre-paid them $700 in CASH for the it, which was apparently STUPID of us, to have any faith in human nature.
We called & called for several more months, and there was always some excuse (if they even bothered to call us back) why the job was delayed.
They finally showed up and installed it, about 3 months ago.
But then today I got an email about a “late” invoice for demo of the old frame, materials (what? Some wood for a new frame?) And installation of the window, for well over $1000!!!

Did a great job with our projects at a reasonable cost. Disposed of all the old materials. Would recommend.

In My initial phone call jay said he felt the work could be done in the 3 hour minimum time, so I was a little surprised to have it go so far over and pay over $200 more than I expected. He did do a good job however.
