Paving Contractor reviews across the US

Carl Guarco and his crew did an excellent job removing the old asphalt driveway at our home in West Hartford and installing a new one. Carl took careful measurements to make sure that rainwater & melted snow would not pool on the driveway. I appreciate that he went the extra mile to make sure the job was done right.

Carl and his crew did a Excellent job removing my old asphalt driveway and replacing with new. Highly Recommended.

Carl Guarco is a hard working, honest professional. He put a driveway on our property where none existed previously. During excavation they dealt with ledge and more than a few challenges as the job progressed. Through it all, he’s personable and cares about what he is doing. Highly recommend.

Fantastic careful work and attention to detail. Guarco and crew listened to what we needed, helped determine the right solution, explained their process, and then executed with precision and thoughtful effort. The driveway was about as perfect as I could imagine. They put time into the edges as if they were artisans. We were very impressed. Clearly an experienced and tented crew who knows what they are doing and works well together. Fair price. We can’t recommend more.

Carl and his team just finished repaving our driveway, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The quote was reasonably priced, work was completed within the timeframe, and the work quality is excellent. Even the crew was great - polite, awesome sense of humor, and one of the crew performed a magic trick for the neighborhood kids. Great company and great people. I highly recommend Guarco Construction.

Carl and his team did a great job on our driveway which was a disaster. His price was reasonable and he was fastidious, making sure it came out perfect. Would recommend them and use them again without reservation.

We were trying to get our driveway replaced. We called a handful of companies but Guarco was the only one to call us back. He came out a day or two later and we had a written quote immediately. They were extremely flexible and worked around the landscaping we were having done. This summer was very wet and they took care to make sure that the ground was not too wet. We had a great experience.

Very good experience with Guarco for driveway paving. They showed up always on time, when they said they would. The owner, Carl, took his time in explaining what they would do - and answered my many questions thoroughly and with patience. Any time I called Carl with a question or to check something re the job - Carl answered the phone. Their pricing was competitive. Very satisfied with the job that Carl and his crew did.

I contracted Carl and his crew to repave my driveway. Can’t say enough good things. He was very responsive to get back to me to schedule a quote. Very clear in what I needed to do to repair the driveway and scheduled/completed the work in a very timely manner. My new driveway/walkway looks amazing and they got the grade perfect, water runs to the street and doesn’t pool like my old driveway did. I’d hire these guys for any future work. Very happy with the quality and professional service they provided.

Carl and his crew were able to start soon after giving us the quote and came back to finish the driveway within a couple of weeks. We are very pleased with the results. Our landscaper even commented on the excellent job and attention to detail. We would highly recommend.

Recently repaved my crumbling old driveway with Guarco. Carl provided a reasonable quote for repaving in one day. A month later, his crew repaved the driveway in very hot weather. Overall, I'm satisfied with the repaving job.

Just a terrific team!
Carl provided a competitve quote, the job was done on time. The driveway looks great! nice and smooth. I could not ask for a better outcome I highly recommend Guarco Pavement.

We had such a great experience with Guarco Construction. We had reached out to other paving companies and got no response, but Carl got right back to us. He was timely, professional, kind, honest and most importantly he and his crew did an incredible job. The driveway looks amazing!!! We couldn't be happier. It gave our entire home a facelift.

Carl and his crew arrived early and were able to not only to rip up the driveway, but also tarred it in the same day and it came out absolutely stunning. I especially love my pathway they did. It looks beautiful. If you want a job well done I highly recommend Guarco Construction.

Carl responded immediately to our request for an estimate. In fact he showed up that evening after spending a long day paving. He has been at this forever is an old school hardworking pro! He was very thorough in his explanation and gave us a fair price. He showed up when he said he would and now we have a beautiful new driveway.
At a time when so many contractors are too busy to give you the time of day, Carl Guarco is a rare find. Strongly recommend.

Very professional and to the point. Got our driveway done in no time for a reasonable and fair price. We are happy customers! Worth recommending!!!

Guarco Construction replaced our asphalt driveway and large parking area. The quality was superior, the price was reasonable, communication was A1, and the Guarco team showed skill and demeanor at every stage.

Great experience working with Carl. He is very responsive and followed through on every detail. Our driveway was in bad shape, and now looks beautiful. Highly recommend!

Carl and his son Kyle were personable and informative. Whole Guarco crew were hardworking. Driveway project finished ahead of schedule. Prices reasonable. We felt like we were in good hands. Getting compliments from the neighbors on the look of the completed job. Very pleased. We recommend Guarco CO highly.

Trying to get driveway paved for a year. Some did not return call. Some did not work in Massachusetts. Some would give estimate but would not write it on paper. Contacted Guarco and got a call back same day. Came out next day on the weekend and did all measurements in the rain. Job well done 👍. Thanks for new driveway.

The entire process was excellent. Communication, quality, price and professionalism of and for the work met all our expectations. We replaced a 50+ year driveway and the team did an exceptional job - on time and within budget with quality. Could not be happier.
