Paving Contractor reviews across the US

We’ve had Greg and his team out for several projects. The biggest project to date was adding a porch which totally changed our house. Greg is always great to work with because he wants to be your long term partner - no job is too big or too small, the pricing is always fair and he doesn’t try to nickel and dime you along the way. Greg is easy to talk to and doesn’t talk down to you or make you uncomfortable. He’s always my first call if I’m thinking of doing work around the house. Highly recommend A++

Greg and team were great to work with from concept to completion. Worked with our budget, transparent about plan, onsite crew got it done well and fast. Also set us up for property to look better than when project started (grass seed, soil grading, any property adjustments/ fixes from having work done).

I highly recommend this group of professionals they did an amazing job on an 1400 square foot patio with sitting wall for me. They were clear in explaining the process throughout and were able to complete my backyard project in 5 to 6 days. I quoted 3 separate contractors and although Icon wasn’t the cheapest I felt they were the most competent to get the job done by a long shot. There’s many people out there but you get what you pay for I am happy about my choice. Months later were enjoying every bit of our yard and the work was done very precisely overall great experience!

After speaking with Greg multiple times and him responding to every question with respect and knowledge, we decided to do our large backyard project with Icon. Best decision ever! The work exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier with the patio, steps, retaining walls and lights that were added around the yard. Wonderful company and will definitely use again for future outdoor and indoor jobs!

I cannot recommend Danny Carbone and his company, Icon Construction, enough. They have completed a few different projects at my house. They have installed pavers in my backyard creating a backyard oasis for us. The renovation of the backyard included not only beautiful paver work but also an outdoor kitchen area in which an overhang was installed above it. It was Danny’s vision and designs which we relied upon. He later returned to install pavers around our pool blending it seamlessly into the already created area. He also helped landscape both areas. Icon has done some renovations in my basement and basement bathroom by helping me to update it. Last, he demoed and built for us a much needed shed in which he blended it with the details of our house. Danny and his work staff are a pleasure to deal with in being reliable, receptive and professional.

Icon did a fantastic job on our front yard. First they cleared and graded the entire yard, installed a new stone porch, new sidewalk, and installed a beautiful paver driveway and sod. All within about 5 full days onsite. I took time off work to handle painting and fencing and they were great to work alongside. (I tried not to get in the way but they never complained)

Being a tiny house in a small town, I was worried that a prospective contractor wouldn’t take the time or care on a relatively smaller project. Instead, Icon treated us like we were the most important project on their schedule. It was great to see the precision and genuine care they showed in every aspect of the install, treating it like artwork. Impressive and good group of guys. I look forward to bringing them back next year for my backyard project.

Working with Icon Construction has been a truly outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I met Greg, I felt confident that we had found the right company for our project. What started as a small backyard update quickly evolved into a full front and backyard transformation—and I couldn’t be happier with the results!
Greg was incredibly patient and responsive throughout the process, always taking the time to answer my many questions. Krista in the office ensured every email was answered promptly, Jerry created a stunning 3D design, and the entire crew worked diligently and professionally to bring our vision to life. Our new patio and walkway are absolutely beautiful—we’ve had countless neighbors stop to compliment the work!
Icon delivers high-quality craftsmanship at a fair price, but what truly sets them apart is their exceptional customer service and passion for what they do. I’m still in awe of how they’ve transformed our outdoor space. I 100% recommend Icon Construction and can’t wait to work with them on future projects!

I highly recommend Icon for any backyard work. Greg was so knowledgeable and helpful along the way. Him and his team gave us ideas and they were flexible to make minor changes as the construction came to life. Our backyard has totally been transformed and we love it! We have a pile of dirt with our new pool and I couldn't picture the final result. Icon built walls, installed pavers around our brand new pool. The photos speak for themselves. The workers were very detailed and did a great job. There may be cheaper companies, but this is quality! Definitely use Icon.

Excellence in paving. Quality and professional.

Dependable and very honest company. Highly recommended

I was very pleased with the excellent service received. Workers are professional, they performed good quality work and were very reliable. Pricing was very fair too. Actually, I found them to be the BEST!

I needed my front steps fixed and also some mudding done on the side of my home. Eddie came to look and was able to make the repairs within a week. The stairs look brand new. So pleased with the result. Very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this business if you need any masonry work done.

The most honest business man that I have met, in the past 20 years. He is congenial, does not include hidden fees, and is point on regarding his measurements and cost output projections. His employees reflect his business work ethic unconditionally. When it comes right down to it, the business that I would hire will and always be Constructive Concepts Inc.

Constructive Concepts did a great job putting in pavers around my in ground pool for a very fair price. Eddie the owner of the company was on the job everyday with his guys always keeping me updated and informed. Very dependable professional company who I would highly recommend. Excellent work

The masonry and concrete work of Edward DeGaetano and employees of Constructive Concepts Inc. is beyond amazing for all that they do. They did amazingly beautiful masonry and concrete work on my home for our driveway, sidewalk, steps, and sidewalls. As well as being very genuine, kind, and possessing an impeccable work ethic for their craft. I would recommend Constructive Concepts Inc. to anyone for their amazing quality, and would hire them again.

I had the pleasure of contracting with Constructive Concepts to redo my backyard pavers - about 2000 square feet surrounding my pool. They were excellent to work with in every way. The work was completed on time and with high quality. This was not an easy job because of the limited access to my backyard but they did it. They worked out every detail and delivered a finished product that was just beautiful. I highly recommend Ed and his team at Constructive Concepts. First Class all the way!!!

We contracted with Constructive Concepts to redo our pool surround, walkways, and patio. We also had them do a new hardscaping project along a hillside (see photo). From the first meeting with Eddie (owner), we felt confident that he knew about his craft. He provided a comprehensive quote and a fair price and kept me informed during several design discussions. His follow-up was outstanding and timely. During the installation, he and his team kept the project moving, addressed some last-minute modifications, and completed the work on time. Eddie was onsite for 98% of the project to ensure the crew did everything correctly. Overall, the experience was superb, and I highly recommend his company, craftsmanship, and professionalism from the first meeting to the completion of the projects.
