During a terrible storm that rolled through Hampton Township last night two large trees on our property fell -- one in our front yard blocking our driveway and one in the backyard. I immediately called J. Fries and as soon as it was safe a crew was dispatched to clear the driveway (this was round 7pm) and then returned first thing in the morning for a full removal and clean up. Shout out to team leader Picazo and his crew for their quick response!

No response for a quote after 4 months. We were looking for a quote and filled out their long paperwork with no reply after two months. Called and spoke with manager and filled out exact same paperwork again with no response. Called and we're told manager has the paperwork now and will respond but no response after another month. Completely unprofessional, unorganized.

I contacted J. Fries Landscape and Design to get a quote on a landscaping project at my home. Mr. Fries came out and we discussed the project and a general plan was formed. A few weeks later I received a proposal. I was agreeable with the price and plan. I had some questions so I called their office and left a message with the office manager for Mr. Fries. After a few days and no response, I sent an email to Mr. Fries to get answers to my questions. Weeks went by and I never received a response from the email or phone message. I moved on and contacted another landscaping company.

Friendly place and great service! We were long past due for a complete makeover of our landscaping and boy did J. Fries deliver! Johns crew was on time every day, worked through weather, and left a clean, polished and professional looking product. Highly recommend!

An excellent company and I highly recommend them. After I bought my home there was a heavy rain storm and I found out that I needed a French drain in the back yard. I called and emailed several landscaping companies and most of them never got back to me. J. Fries responded quickly and came to look at the yard and got me an estimate within a few days. Their estimate was very reasonable, and much lower than one that I got from another company. The work was done quickly, looked good, and they cleaned up after themselves and left the yard in good condition. The French drain works well and there is no longer any standing water in the yard during heavy rain events. I am very happy with the work that they did and impressed with their professionalism, price, and quick turn-around time. I will definitely use them again in the future for other projects!

Showed up on time, worked super hard, did a wonderful job. Will have them back to do front yard lapndscaping in spring. Price was very good.

John Fries Landscaping did an amazing job on our yard. They mowed the lawn, added fresh mulch to all the beds, and made the whole yard look clean and well-kept. I have used JFL before and I know his work is good and his prices reasonable. This time around, he exceeded my expectations. His crew power washed my front steps, driveway and sidewalk. All went from black to white. I've lived in this house for 30 years, and after JFL's crew finished with the power washing, special deep edging, bush and tree trimming, one would think my home was just built. I was in awe of the crew's workmanship, dedication to detail and friendliness. I can't see anybody going to another landscaping company other than John Fries Landscaping.

Justin is amazing at getting our property plowed, salted, and totally landscaped. Friendly and willing to hear what the cx's are saying/suggesting. Will highly recommend over anyone in the area!!!

We love the work J. Fries Landscape and Design has done for us over the last few years - from helping us get an abandoned yard under control to regular mowings and brush/leaf cleanup, from helping us create a backyard patio oasis to giving us a mulched play area for our children and the trampoline. John and his team have done multiple projects for us including:
Planting of pine trees and arborvitaes
Edging and mulching
Cutting down large dead pine tree and removing
Cut up and removed pine tree which fell after a storm
Hauled in dirt and graded part of the yard and seeded
Trimmed up shrubs

When they are done with whatever project they are asked to do, there is no mess left behind!
John and his team have always been very respectful to us and our property. We will definitely use John for any future landscaping and design projects.

I recently contracted J. Fries Landscape and Design to remove old walkways and porch and install approximately 80 feet of new, wider walkways and a new larger front pad. in addition, landscaping of the front yard was required to reverse the slope of the yard away from the house.
J. Fries Landscape and Design performed exceptionally in all matters. Work was done on time, completely and professionally. All work areas during and after work were cleaned.
I can't say enough about J. Fries's work crews. They were knowledgeable, skillful, and hard working. They kept me informed on all work and design matters and listened carefully to my concerns and questions. I really enjoyed conversing and listening to them through the work period.

John recently replaced our sidewalks and redesigned our landscaping. He also designed and installed some hardscaping rocks and pavers. John and his team did an amazing job.

J.Fries landscaping updated our driveway with stone. The owner John, was there to work with us to understand what we wanted for the driveway.
John and Joe graded the surface of the driveway before putting the stone down. Joe was very informative on what we needed to do after they were done. John was super nice and listened to where we wanted the extra dirt to be placed. The driveway is perfect now and FedEx as well as other deliveries will now drive down. John and his crew take great pride in the work that they do. You will not have to worry about corners being cut or the materials being used with him. I have been in construction for 20years and will only use and recommend John fries landscape so that the job gets done correctly.

John Fries landscaping has been doing our yard work for the past 5 years. Planted deer resistant shrubs, planted trees and has definitely upgraded the look of our home. Recently had to reroute our drainage from our gutters to hook up to the storm drain. John got the appropriate permits and completed the work to the satisfaction of our picky HOA!

I seriously can’t say enough about how happy I am with the work John and his crew did. The guys GCing our pool recommended him, and he over-delivered. I gave him my budget - he gave me options - he stuck to budget and nailed what I had in mind. From the time we agreed on the work until the ENTIRE (massive) job was done was less than a week. I got the yard excavated and graded, River rock around the pool/patio/all edges of the yard, new fencing, my entire back hillside graded, cleared of weeds, and seeded. They also moved my shed and build a solid (beautiful) pad/setting for it. I zero complaints. I’ll cal John anytime I need a big job done right.
