Cleared out a large area of weeds on our property and planted a variety of shrub landscaping. John helped us pick plants that will provide cover and interest year round. We have used John Fries Landscaping in the past as well and have always been very happy with the results. Manuel was the foreman on the job and he and his crew worked hard and cleaned up after they were finished. I would use them again.

My wife and I are extremely happy with the results that John and his team delivered for us. I contacted more than 10 local landscapers in late August for a quote to get our lawn aerated, over seeded, and top dressed along with establishing a large planting bed in our yard. John was the ONLY one to respond. He came out on September 4th and returned a quote on September 6th. Out of the gate he impressed me with the prompt and courteous way he conducted business. The quote was well priced for the work being done. After giving the OK to move forward, John scheduled his team to come out on September 24th. His team was amazing. They were friendly, fast, efficient, and delivered quality work. They completed our project in roughly 1.5 days. They also cleaned up and left our home in the same condition the found it. John then followed up 2 days later to check in and see if I was satisfied and how everything looked. That is great customer service! It is now 3 weeks later and our yard is looking beautiful! We couldn't be more pleased. We have had numerous compliments from neighbors. I HIGHLY recommend John and his team for your landscaping needs. You won't be disappointed. We intend on using them again in the spring for a retaining wall project. Thank you John and team!

J. Fries landscape and design recently came to level out my backyard and install new lawn. The process from quote to final product was quick and easy. On the day of the Install the foreman of the project Picazo took care of everything. The crew worked diligently and quick. They also managed traffic between the trucks and trailers that were needed for materials and tools. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them for your landscaping needs.

John and his crew have done work on our yard before, providing beautiful landscaping and contouring. Yesterday, our 14 year old cat passed, and we decided to bury him in our back yard and plant a tree in his honor. Sympathetically, John provided us immediate service, burying our loving cat, Ping, beneath a beautiful new pear tree. The crew was kind, and very gentle during the burial and installation. Thanks John and crew for this unique creation!

One hell of salesman, that's for sure. Stand behind his work, that's where the problems. I will give the some credit, the patio his guys laid at our absolutely beautiful. I loved it!! Then comes the but, It's cracking apart and it's barely one year old. John stood in yard and told us and told that he would definitely not be cheapest, but we never have a problem with our patio. It would be overbuilt and last foerver. I have my doubts. I have tried to contact and he has never returned my calls. He did send his concrete guy back out, but he basically told us there was nothing that could be done. The place where they concrete from sent them a bad batch, and the heat was making it crack. Thanks, I guess that makes it ok in John's eyes. I guess we wasted that money. I can't even stand to look at it anymore.

I highly recommend Fries Landscaping to anyone who asks me about lawn service. They do a very good job. We have been utilizing John's services for 5 years now and we have never had any problems. The crew is always at our place like clockwork each week and any time we may need his services. They will do any extra work we may need done. Just recently after the storms in August, we had many many trees come down on our property and a few blocking the drive way. I called John that Sunday Morning and he had a crew there within a short period of time and spent the week cleaning all the broken trees and branches.

I engaged J. Fries Landscaping to edge and mulch two large foundational plantings with bushes. After clearing out old rubber and shredded wood mulch, the landscaping crew prepared both a trench edge and a Belgium block border edge to two areas of the yard. The job was completed in hours by a hard-working crew who were conscientious and polite. The field manager, while helpful in suggesting alternative services, was apparently very busy and communicated only in response to my emails. At times, it would have been more efficient to speak over the phone to clarify my intentions. Nevertheless, I recommend J. Fries Landscaping for your landscaping needs.

John, the owner helped us to redesign our front yard landscaping project. All of our old shrubs were removed, Belgium block edging installed along 80 feet , regrading , 12 new small shrubs, topsoil, mulch, and seeding of new grass areas.
We were blessed with a very hard working team of 4, led by Manuel. These men were very conscientious, diligent, and respectful of our property, seeing that we keep it well maintained.

John is fortunate to have this team who worked well together, completing our project in a timely manner.

We have been customers of John Fries Landscaping for several years now and would highly recommend them for your landscaping needs.
We first worked with John to redo our landscaping. He gave us many plant options to choose and personally confirmed their placement when it came time to plant.
We continue to use his team for seasonal spring /summer /fall clean-up and grass cutting. His team(s) are efficient, hard working and thorough. Weather permitting, they mow the lawn on the same day of the week and will also monitor your landscaping to initiate periodic clean-ups without having to call and schedule (should you wish).
Lastly, John has been very responsive to special requests for clean-up : we had 2 instances of fallen trees - he responded immediately and scheduled his team to remove them and clean-up promptly.

Once again, our expectations were exceeded! We've been working with John and his team for several years and are always extremely satisfied with the entire process. We were in need of a yard refresh. Our beds were all edged, plants were trimmed and new mulch placed all over. The crew was very kind and professional and didn't leave anything overlooked. If you want your landscaping to be top-notch and best on the block, call them. You won't be disappointed!!

We could not be happier with the scope of work and redesign they provided. They removed (many) overgrown shrubs and ground covering and redesigned the whole layout with new trees, shrubs and Belgian block edging. John and his crew came out to help with mulch, weeding, old growth removal, and planting of new grass. Overall we were happy. I did raise a concern and John was extremely quick to explain the situation and make it right; no questions asked (which is very hard to find these days). I was very impressed with professionalism and his dedication to make sure we were happy with the job. I would recommend him for your next outdoor project.

They are one of the most professional companies that I have ever come across and I strongly recommend their services. John has an outstanding team of hard workers ,which are very refreshing to find today.He oversees the project and works with his men. He turned an absolute eyesore of rocks and weeds, into a beautifully landscaped back yard for us to enjoy. When the job was complete, all was cleaned up and any areas disrupted by equipment was re-seeded. Project manager took the time to follow up with our satisfaction. This ensures that our work trucks can load and depart on schedule to reach their appointments. Additionally, John Fries takes care of salting our steep steps, providing a valuable service for our office staff who arrive in the early morning when it's still dark. Overall, from the office staff to the entire crew, John Fries and his company have proven to be excellent in their services!

John and his crew have been taking care of my property for 8 years now. They always do a great job and their work in never more appreciated than in the fall because the property has several large oaks. What they accomplish in 30m minutes was taking me hours. I have been so impressed with them that I have I hired them to redesign and maintain my new property.

I highly recommend John Fries Landscape and Design. They provided us a solution to our water runoff problem using barn stones. The 3 person crew led by foreman Picazo was absolutely amazing. They worked incredibly hard from start to end. They worked well together and pieced the barn stones so they created a barrier to direct the water.
We are so pleased.

John and his crew did a great job redoing my back yard after getting a new deck. Now it looks great! Additionally, they remove my leaves from the back yard each fall. They do a thorough job each time.

I made the mistake of trying to cut cost by going with a different company, and was extremely disappointed with the work/lack there of. J. Fries came out within a week of me calling to fix what had been done and it looks INCREDIBLE. The staff is friendly and they take pride in the work they do.
