Picked up 4 tons of garden soil for my new planter boxes. Great price, great service, was even able to pre pay and make several trips in my small pickup truck to move all the soil over the course of a few days.

We have purchased trees twice in the last few months. The owner really gave us great information on how to plant and perfect conditions for both trees. Prices are great and who can’t love the furry greeters ❤️

Purchased a red mimosa tree on July 26, 2019. I covered it in the winter to protect the trunk of the tree, however, now in May 2020 there are still no branches on it and it does not look like any will be growing any time soon. I called Cavanaugh's and was told there is no warranty on the tree unless they planted it. I was not advised of this when I purchased the tree or I would not have purchased it. Nothing could be done. So basically I am out of $73.83. Will not go to this place again or recommend them to anyone.

Friendly, knowledge and an excellent value. I purchased 3/4 yard of stones for a small project. I received a valuable tip regarding the stones and learned more about their hard wood pick up in the fall. I saw 3 trucks come in for mulch pick up. The price per yard was MUCH better than a place I used to go to on Painters Run Road.

No one said hello or offered any help. I ended up shopping in the unmarked“sold” plants area. And had to put all back. No help offered. I left and went to Home Depot and bought a dozen plant and shrubs instead. Will not go there again

Picked up topsoil and mushroom compost - they did a perfect job on a 50/50 mix for me.

I get all my mulch and soil here, great quality over the big box stores.

I can't speak to the landscaping trees/shrubs/plants but they always look like they have a good and varying supply of healthy items when I am there.

Nice staff. Got almost everything you need for landscaping.

Selection is great, best around. Price is very reasonable, and help is always around when we've had questions.

After searching several nurseries and supply places for days looking for shrubs and plants, a friend suggested Cavanaugh’s Nursery. I am thrilled they did! Where I couldn't find anything for days, the huge selection, unique choices, and prices were incredible! Eli was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and helpful! He guided me to options that would work well in the space I wanted to fill. He answered all of my caretaking and fertilizing questions for my landscaping. The shrubs and plants were vibrant, well cared for, and well-priced. My new go-to place! I recommend 100%.

Very helpful. I was initially greeted and directed where to go to get to the inside. I was then greeted again with an offer of assistance. I showed a picture of the bush that I was looking for and was taken to its location. Easy peasy, and I was assisted in getting said bush into my car.

What a great nursery / supply yard. Their topsoil is top notch and the plants and trees are well priced. Just picked up two white birches and they look amazing.

Very nice nursery they have lots of choices of plants, bushes and trees. They have a ton of inventory. If you want 6 unique plants they have it. I just picked up my new bushes and trees there!! Thanks Bob! Definitely the place to go for your landscaping needs.

Back when we went to the nursery, it seemed as though nobody wanted to help us and looked at us like we were idiots when asking questions. (That should’ve been the first indicator to leave.) We knew we wanted skyrocket junipers, but wanted to make sure they would be a great option for our driveway line.
Mind you, our driveway was originally lined with privacy shrubs for over a decade before, but we wanted to change.
We bought 12 skyrockets after having someone (from there) recommend how many so they could have proper space to grow and thrive.
The man we talked to talked us out of a warranty because “once these trees are established, they are incredibly easy to maintain and rarely ever have something go wrong with them”. He also reassured us that IF THEY ARE THE PEOPLE WHO COME TO PLANT THEM, they are responsible for making sure it is totally done properly and no issues should arise. We, of course, had them plant them.
We followed care instructions exactly the way they were instructed to us to help them get established and we continued proper care. My husband eventually put in a drip line back in end of April/early May after we noticed some spots beginning to brown.
I have been calling consistently since June to get someone to help or even come take a look at them to see what the issue is. No answers or call backs…
I finally called once again this morning (8/1/24) and received a callback.
Long story short, blame was pointed at us - even though we went by the book of what they said to do and the man who planted the trees said they were in perfect ground and a great location, etc etc etc.
Whoever called me back was rude and, once again, talked to me like I was a moron.
I’m left with it basically being our fault and that we can replace the trees at a discount… even though their negligence and lies and lack of customer service is what brought us to this point.
Next time I will take the warranty and also go elsewhere. Thank you for the dozen almost totally sick trees that barely made it half a year and for putting us out over $1k.
Whoever I spoke with will try to keep pointing the finger at me the same way I will continue to point it back at him.
We called, we left messages, we reached out for help several times, only to be ignored and neglected.

Wow, this is a full service nursery with a wide variety of various trees, bushes, flowering plants, mulch, and gravel. I have purchased all of the fore mentioned, plus they delivered the much and gravel. The people working there are very helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this nursery. 👍👍👍👍
