Prompt, professional, affordable, efficient, clean, AND they're nice?! What else could you possibly ask for?! We had a really large tree towering over our house that started to rot at the bottom, and we were afraid it would fall. Mike came out and gave us a price the day after we called. His brother and crew showed up the day they said they would, and the tree was gone, mess and crew packed up within 4 hours. Unbelievable. Just like their slogan, "Large enough to serve, small enough to care."
UPDATE: Bradley wood called me first thing this morning and came with to pick up the wood and issue a refund check. While I wish they had dry wood to exchange, I really appreciated his honesty, apology and his quick resolution to the problem! I could not think of a better response from a small business. I am changing my review from 2 to 4 stars as a result. I ordered firewood and received prompt, friendly delivery. We tried to light a fire tonight and the wood is clearly not seasoned. I am so frustrated and disappointed. I cannot upload images, but if I could, I would document the water bubbling out of the ends of the wood and 6 fire starters later, all smoke and no fire. I called and left a message for Bradley wood this evening.
Bradley Bros came out and gave me a fair estimate to take down a branch and the loose branches. I suggested my neighbor that she gets her tree trimmed. The Bradley Bros were able to complete work on 2 giant beech trees in one day. The summary: I would recommend Bradley Bros Tree Service. Below is a pro con list. The con Poor communication. 1. Texting someone 15 mins before you are supposed to be on-site doesn't mean your aren't late. 2. Removal of healthy limbs without talking it over with owner. 3. Not checking in with the owner before moving on to the next job 4. Misunderstanding on clearing out loose branches hanging near bad tree limb only, not all tree loose branches. The Pros 1. Safe practices. This is dangerous work and Bradley Bros took time and care with equipment and personnel. 2. Work completed on time 3. Great job on clean up site after 4. Mr. Bradley did talk with me after the work was completed to clear up the loose branches misunderstanding.
We had a gigantic tree... The company came out pretty quick to remove it and grind the stump. Tree removal was 2250 & Stump grinding was 350... They hauled off the tree on day one, yet left the stump grindings there once the snow cleared and said it was an additional price AFTER the work was done. When I called to inquire about the grindings, the owner was rude, despite me being a quick paying customer, they didn't do the job in one day, it took them longer than expected since they had truck malfunctioning issues and had to go get another truck. When I asked why he didn't mention leaving the grinding when he did the original quote - he then in an unprofessional way tried to explain to me how I was getting off cheaper... When actually all of the quotes I received for the tree we're essentially the same amount. I do not recommend using this service... You don't treat customers like that after making almost 3000 dollars off of them
Johnathan and his crew arrived on time, completed the job quickly and the crew worked to clean up the property as if the tree had never been there. I can't recommend them more.
