Courteous and professional. Mike and his team take great care when they do their work. We've hired them twice and would recommend them for any tree work.

Prompt, professional, affordable, efficient, clean, AND they're nice?! What else could you possibly ask for?!
We had a really large tree towering over our house that started to rot at the bottom, and we were afraid it would fall. Mike came out and gave us a price the day after we called. His brother and crew showed up the day they said they would, and the tree was gone, mess and crew packed up within 4 hours. Unbelievable. Just like their slogan, "Large enough to serve, small enough to care."

UPDATE: Bradley wood called me first thing this morning and came with to pick up the wood and issue a refund check. While I wish they had dry wood to exchange, I really appreciated his honesty, apology and his quick resolution to the problem! I could not think of a better response from a small business. I am changing my review from 2 to 4 stars as a result.

I ordered firewood and received prompt, friendly delivery. We tried to light a fire tonight and the wood is clearly not seasoned. I am so frustrated and disappointed. I cannot upload images, but if I could, I would document the water bubbling out of the ends of the wood and 6 fire starters later, all smoke and no fire. I called and left a message for Bradley wood this evening.

Bradley Bros came out and gave me a fair estimate to take down a branch and the loose branches. I suggested my neighbor that she gets her tree trimmed. The Bradley Bros were able to complete work on 2 giant beech trees in one day.

The summary: I would recommend Bradley Bros Tree Service.

Below is a pro con list.
    The con
    Poor communication.
    1. Texting someone 15 mins before you are supposed to be on-site doesn't mean your aren't late.
    2. Removal of healthy limbs without talking it over with owner.
    3. Not checking in with the owner before moving on to the next job
    4. Misunderstanding on clearing out loose branches hanging near bad tree limb only, not all tree loose branches.
    The Pros
    1. Safe practices. This is dangerous work and Bradley Bros took time and care with equipment and personnel.
    2. Work completed on time
    3. Great job on clean up site after
    4. Mr. Bradley did talk with me after the work was completed to clear up the loose branches misunderstanding.

We had a gigantic tree... The company came out pretty quick to remove it and grind the stump. Tree removal was 2250 & Stump grinding was 350... They hauled off the tree on day one, yet left the stump grindings there once the snow cleared and said it was an additional price AFTER the work was done. When I called to inquire about the grindings, the owner was rude, despite me being a quick paying customer, they didn't do the job in one day, it took them longer than expected since they had truck malfunctioning issues and had to go get another truck. When I asked why he didn't mention leaving the grinding when he did the original quote - he then in an unprofessional way tried to explain to me how I was getting off cheaper... When actually all of the quotes I received for the tree we're essentially the same amount. I do not recommend using this service... You don't treat customers like that after making almost 3000 dollars off of them

Johnathan and his crew arrived on time, completed the job quickly and the crew worked to clean up the property as if the tree had never been there. I can't recommend them more.

I had a tree down on my house due to a nasty storm that blew through. The next day Mike was on the scene shortly after I called and told me he could get it done that afternoon. Sure enough a crew of about 10 guys with a bucket truck and a huge chipper were all hammering the job out. They took the tree off my house and another 60 foot tree in about 2.5 hours. They were very professional, cleaned everything up and made sure not to destroy my wife's flower bed. I highly recommend them.

Got a cord of oak probably a bit more thanks the wood is definitely seasoned and was ready to burn. I thank you and I would definitely recommend getting as opposed to mixed hardwood. This oak burns nice and blue and super hot. Thank you and have a great Christmas and a safe new year.

They are extremely friendly and reasonablely priced. Very professional and efficient. Had 6 trees removed and they came out the same week I called! I was very surprised how quickly the job was done, not to mention, they cleaned up after they were finished! I would highly recommend them and I will be calling again for more work to be done!

Purchased 1 cord of "seasoned" mixed hardwoods from them. They were friendly and delivered next day as arranged. Good mix of different hardwoods in the pile and sizes were great for fireplace/fire pits.
However, the wood was definitely not seasoned well. I pulled about 12 pieces out of the pile after feeling how heavy and wet they felt and all but 1 had a moisture content over 22%; most were around 25%. 1 larger piece was over 30%! (To check I split each piece and took a reading in the middle)
I understand it's already December and stock is probably running low, but this is definitely inconvenient. I'll have to try to sort the drier pieces when I stack it and let the wetter ones season longer. Not sure if this is common, but it's something to note if you want to have firewood to burn right away.
Edit: after stacking and trying to burn even the driest-feeling pieces, I have to down-grade my review. I paid for seasoned wood and did not receive it. Moisture just foams out of the ends when you try to burn it. At least 1/3 of the pieces are starting to rot. This was clearly the bottom of a pile that's been sitting wet all year and not seasoned at all. Maybe next year it'll be okay after it dries out, but this is not what I ordered or paid for. I'd advise anyone who orders from them to inspect the load before accepting and paying for it.

I called the Main Line (not Delco) telephone number on a Friday afternoon and left a message regarding firewood delivery. Within a few days I received a call back and ultimately scheduled a delivery of a cord of firewood between 8-10am on a Thursday. Shortly before 9am on day of delivery, I received call from the office informing me that my home in Berwyn was 4 miles outside of the 12 mile delivery 'zone' but the delivery could be made for an additional $25. I told the caller that I would accept delivery today for the previously agreed price of $325 if the delivery was made today, otherwise I would find another source. That was about 15 minutes ago, we will see if they show up...

Follow-up: BTE did not make the delivery at the previously agreed price. They did however take the time to provide the response below.

With that said, if the mileage difference was 4 miles (honest mistake/ mis-statement) as I posted in my initial review or 6 miles as E Bradley posted in the response, the discrepancy in inconsequential. The fact of the matter is that I felt as if BTS was trying to "bait and switch" me. If a delivery fee had been quoted during the initial conversation, I would have been none the wiser and simply agreed.
Google directions from: BTS to my home address is 11.6 miles. After learning this and in conjunction with other similar Google reviews of BTS, I was compelled to post a review.

Regarding the telephone conversation(s): BTS was pleasant/ cordial throughout, as was I. I did kindly state that an "extra mileage" (that I knew was not accurate) delivery fee was petty - particularly after there was an agreement in price and scheduled appointment in place for 2 if not 3 days.

Use this business carefully. My situation was a simple delivery of firewood, not a several thousand dollar tree project.

If you are wondering where I ended up getting firewood from: Paul from Chips Tree Service was a pleasure to speak with while ordering the same cord of oak firewood for the same price as BTS (without the "extra mileage" delivery fee nonsense.

Don’t even bother going anywhere else - Mike, Elena, Jonathan, and his whole crew are the most communicative, fair priced, and detail oriented crew one could hope for. We had ginormous trees and they made great work of it, and didn’t stop until the work was perfect. Lifelong customer earned - thank you all!!!

Mike arrived promptly at our scheduled time and gave a very fair quote for the work we wanted done. Him and his crew
finished the job efficiently and well. Would use their services again.

Just had Bradley tree experts to trim two large trees ( thin out the canopy on each tree) plus take out three large old azaleas
    Both trees look great.
You would never knew they were there, they cleaned up everywhere!
One reason I picked them, they took my next door neighbors' tree down and the stump also. When they were done, you never knew a tree was there.

We have hired Bradley several times to remove trees from our property. Yesterday was just another example of a truly professional organization. We had fencing on the property line with trees embedded in the fencing. They did a wonderful job of removing and grinding stumps. The crew went above and beyond and for that we are exceptionally grateful!

Some strong winds took down half of my dogwood. Mike showed up the same day I called to give me a very reasonable estimate, included some trimming of the half tree he said could be saved. Like another reviewer, I added a stump grinding I meant to get to. His truly expert team showed up the next day and were in and out FAST! They knew what they were doing and showed great care for my lawn, plants and irrigation system. There is no doubt who I will call for all my tree needs.

This company was great from start to finish. The owner came out to quote which was reasonable & as such I added other jobs to go with it. They removed a large tree with great care, trimmed down a tree and removed some roots. Did the job when they said they would and in a timely manner without mess. I would highly recommend this friendly family company

Bradley Tree Experts have done multiple jobs on my property and have always done great work. If you want to support a local business that does professional work, at a reasonable price, and is reliable and trustworthy, call Bradley. Thanks to Mike, Elaine, and all the crew!

They were on time for time for all facets of the services done. The cost of the job was a good price. The work was done as scheduled, the clean up was done well and the workers were great. We'll be using them for any other work and already have recommended them!!

Had a great experience with the Bradley team. They came out next day to provide an estimate and had my trees down within a week for a very reasonable price!

During a very heavy wind and rainstorm on the early evening of 9/23/23, several giant, old trees from the woods behind our property line smashed and took everything in their path to the ground, 90% landing in my backyard. It was an overwhelming, horrific mess! Luckily, the trees fell within an inch of our actual house, so that we were spared damage to the house. We engaged Bradley Tree Experts to do both the cleanup AND the removal of additional trees (all very old and large) that could potentially cause similar damage in a future storm.

I found Bradley Tree Services to be one of the finest businesses we’ve ever dealt with during our many years in this house. Mike Bradley is honest and fair. His teams worked magnificently, with excellent precision and 100% cleanup of the area, plus cleanup of the cleanup area. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who has need of their services.
