Joe is the most responsive contractor that I have ever worked with. Shortly after we purchased our home, we found mold. Joe called me at the end of each work day and explained to me what the team had done and what they would be doing the following day. Joe answered every question without hesitation. After the mold remediation, the house still had a “closed up” smell and Joe and his team stayed on the job until everything was resolved. While the work was done to perfection, it is the intangible of Joe’s communication that made Mold Solutions and Inspections the right choice for us. Earlier this year we called MSI due to mold and water damage in our rowhome from a leaking roof despite my insurance wanting to use another remediation team. My goal was to use a local team near south Philly who had experience with this type of work in rowhomes and could get started right away. I talked through my concerns with Joe and was surprised he was able to get a team out immediately. Joe's team was competent, worked fast, kept tidy, and helped document every step of the remediation services to ensure my insurance covered all steps. MSI was able to stay on track with their initial quote and we were happy to see the final cost come in slightly under. MSI persisted to counter my insurance company even after MSI received payment to ensure all costs were covered. Despite termite, mold, water damage, and roof issues - the only team that had our back was MSI - recommend you shop here first for a quote - ask for Joe.

We had water damage from a failed sump pump in the basement recently. My insurance company recommended I call a water mitigation company to assess the damage. Joe and his team from MSI were great. Joe was very responsive and answered all my questions. He was honest and explained the water mitigation process. He updated me on the phone throughout the whole process while his team was working in my basement. The team who came to work on the house were respectful, on time and efficient. Mike, the project leader at our home, was professional and kind. He gave us daily updates on their progress. Joe also understood and respected that we were working with a limited budget (no insurance involved) and was fully transparent with their process and costs. They never tried to "upsell" us or anything, and I felt confident they would complete the job we asked them to do in an expert manner - which they certainly did!
