I can’t speak highly enough about MSI! Joe, the owner was hands down the most professional and courteous professional I’ve worked with in a long time and I have worked in the construction industry for 16 years. We had some water damage in our home from a storm and called our insurance for help- the team they sent was sloppy, took short cuts and missed wet insulation that laid on my walls for 4 days! We fired them and called Joe at MSI. His team was there days later, took everything out that should have been out the first time, worked non stop for 9 hours and cleaned up every step of the way. Trust me, don’t waste your time with the other storm restoration companies- if you get damage to your home call MSI and start with the best ! Joe and his crew were not only professional and great workers they were helpful and genuinely had our best interest in making sure our home was done right! Call them, you will be so happy you did!

I needed an inspection for suspected mold for my home for a refinance on our home. Joe explained the inspection process and affiliated costs honestly and clearly so I knew what he would be doing before he arrived. After booking our appointment, Joe came to our home and tested the area and assured us the results would be in within 3 business days. He delivered a full lab report with all the details and even took the time to help me understand what the report included and concerns he had for the tested area even though the results came back clear. I had major flood damage from Hurricane Ida that completely submerged my basement and came up into my first floor.

I called around to the big company Flood Remediators like ServPro and TLC but they wanted to charge me $150 for an estimate (ServPro) or didn't call me back (TLC). Neighbors that used ServPro had estimates from 30-40K. These big companies use you as a piggy bank assuming insurance will just cover everything. Well insurance penny pinches anywhere it can and for damage like this we need every penny.

Joe the owner of MSI was the opposite of these big companies. He gave me a bunch of great advice before he even came out for his estimate. Was flexible, responsive and professional through the whole process. The guys he has employed were also great. Mike was knowledgeable and went the extra mile to help where he could. He's even recommended a contractor I ended up going with who's done a great job so far for a fair price.

At the end MSI charged half of what ServPro would have and worked with me constantly to help with insurance. They also documented everything to give me the best chance of getting what I was owed from insurance. 10/10 would recommend Joe and MSI for Flood Damage and Mold Remediation.

We spoke to and interviewed numerous mold remediation companies to find the best one. Joe came out and met my wife and I for an estimate and we were very impressed with his professionalism. After they completed the job, what we thought were my wife’s “ allergies” went away!

If you have a mold issue, call MSI. We had mold testing done through a home inspection agency and learned with had elevated levels of mold in our house. This particularly worried us because we have an 8 month old son. I found MSI through a Google search and saw great reviews. I spoke with Joe on the phone and knew right away I was going to use his business. He laid out the whole process and was very up front about the cost and the time it would take. He sent a guy out that day to check out our situation and had his crew out the following week (the week between Christmas and New Years when they usually take off) to remediate our mold because he knew how concerned we were about our son. Joe called at the end of the day each day to ask if we had any questions and to lay out what would be happening the next day. He spent a lot of time on the phone with us and never made us feel rushed or like any of our questions were stupid. All of the employees who came to the house were very friendly and professional. It wasn’t fun to find out we had a mold problem but our experience with MSI was great!

As a new resident of Philly and first time home owner, my experience MSI was excellent. Joe was extremely prompt, friendly, professional in his work and interactions. He did a quick Inspection at our home, he was thorough and I knew they were not cutting any corners and the quality of the analysis and report was detailed but simple to understand. Very helpful. After a fire in my home that involved months of insurance and claim management issues, Joe and his team not only provided exceptional and thorough post-fire mitigation services, but he also took a tremendous amount of time to assist me in getting my claim back on course. In the end, the insurance company paid for all that Joe billed without any back-and-forth appeals, and thanks to the excellent work by Joe and his team, my home is finally primed to be restored.

Joe and the MSI Team were AMAZING in helping us out in a tough situation. I searched AngiesList for the best vendor and MSI's track record (150 A+ reviews) was by far the most impressive. Joe was at our house the SAME DAY and brought 6 very high quality fans to help dry the flooring and carpeting to prevent mold. We were very lucky to have Joe, the owner, come to our house given his 20 years of experience in dealing with every type of home-related issue. Joe had such a warm personality that we felt like we were dealing with a friend and his knowledge of how to prevent mold/mildew by placing the fans in the proper locations was very impressive. Joe kept in touch with us and worked around our schedule (we were getting married the same week) to dry our house and perform the sheetrock and drywall removal. Joe is well connected and was able to put us in touch with a Public Adjuster (also Joe) who helped us with the insurance claim process. Overall, Joe and MSI had completed their work in 3 days and we were really happy with the quality of their workmanship and Joe's ability to communicate effectively with us. About 2 weeks after a flood in my kitchen, I discovered mold growing in one of my cabinets, so I called MSI (Mold Solutions and Inspections) right away. They did an AMAZING job… I HIGHLY recommend this company!

The owner, Joe, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He spent a significant amount of time on the telephone explaining how the process would work. He answered all of my questions and helped to put my mind at ease. Joe also contacted me after the work was completed to inquire about my experience and to ask if I had any additional questions. The workers, Joe (a different Joe) and Mike, showed up on-time both days. They were extremely friendly and worked quickly. Joe and Mike were respectful of my home and cleaned up very well after they were finished. I was impressed with the number of pictures that were taken to document the damage (for insurance reasons). Joe and Mike answered all of my questions and kept me informed throughout the whole process. I felt very comfortable having them work in my home.

After addressing the issue, they walked us through further testing in other areas of the house where we had concerns, and made suggestions for addressing humidity. After removing some water damaged belongings from our space, our mold results came back clear and no further remediation was necessary!
