Constraction reviews in Glenside, Pennsylvania

These guys have saved me 5 times since I've owned my 100 year old house in Glenside. So far, they've repaired the controller to my outdoor AC air handling unit, replaced the water pressure valve on my main waterline, repaired the electronic control on my furnace, replaced my failing water heater, and today Dan and Ryan came to fix a blockage in my main waste line to the sewer that I tried to fix myself but failed. They're always prompt, always courteous, always reasonable, and the repairs have stayed repaired. I won't call anyone else.

I don’t know if they are great, horrible or competent plumbers. They are absolutely terrible at communicating and following up.

I called them about an issue in the house. They arranged a visit and showed up to the house on time. The guy was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. He didn’t have what he needed and said he provided a quote.
Never heard from them again.

I called after a few days left a message for them on the machine….NADA! I’m not sure why they never returned my call or did what they said they would do. No clue!

Maybe they didn’t like the color of my skin or some other obscure reason that prevents them from doing what they promised.

No way I would ever recommend them.
If this is a sample of the work and work ethic, I got lucky they didn’t do any work in the house.

Our water tank started leaking last night. We called Hophan at 9pm. They answered, scheduled for the next morning, arrived on time, swapped the old tank and got us running again by early afternoon. Service was fast and costs were reasonable.

Can't recommend Hophan Brothers enough! They sure came to rescue today when my water heater blew. They were quick, friendly & the price was reasonable. My new plumbers. Thank you again, Dan & helper.

Our hot water heater kicked the can late last night and Hophan was here first thing in the morning and did such a great job. Everything from customer service to professional install and advice was top notch and we will definetly be singing their praises to any friends in need. Thank you again to the team!

I recently got some help with this company for a heating and plumbing issue at my home, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From the moment I called, the staff was courteous, professional, and responsive.

The technician (Ryan) was knowledgeable, respectful of my home, and took the time to explain the issue and the repair process. It's clear they care about their customers and take pride in their service.

So..
They gave me a day they could come to look at my heater.. I take off work for that day bc it's getting cold.. So the day arrived and I called to see why they were not here.
They asked where I lived. Really? I gave all that information. I told him. He said he was glad "I called" bc one of their trucks broke down. Huh? They will get back to me to reschedule. Oh, how nice. I lost a day pay,but you'll "get back to me".
No, don't bother.

They have done multiple jobs at our house over the years between plumbing and HVAC. Reliable and quick to answer and respond. They have been great to us and I would recommend them.
