Constraction reviews in Havertown, Pennsylvania

BJK was amazing to work with. They repointed our stone foundation, as well as some brickwork on the house. Additionally, they replaced our dryer vent and ground and sealed some cracks on our exterior. Brendan and the team were very responsive throughout the project and adapted as we made some changes throughout. They did an amazing job and we are extremely happy with their work. Highly recommend using BJK for any masonry needs you have!

Brendan was wonderful to work with! He was honest and didn't try to oversell me. He was able to fit us in way sooner than we thought. We are happy with the work his guys did and we will not hesitate to call him back! Our front and back pavers look incredible!

We hired Brendan to help re-do our cement patio in front of our house and I cannot say enough good things about him and his team. Leading up to our project, Brendan’s communication was great. He was always quick to respond and set clear expectations around timing. During our work, he kept us up to speed every step of the way with any adjustments to schedule due to weather or other factors and general updates for how to maneuver around the work area while in progress.

The end product was incredible. His work is meticulous, his crew was super professional and they were always so clean/tidy every day they were here. As if that all wasn’t enough, he’s really reasonable on pricing. You can tell he takes a ton of pride in his work and he even poked around to take a look at a few other things while here.

House projects can be a headache but working with Brendan is anything but that. He will do a wonderful job and create a great experience in the process. Cant recommend him enough!

I had originally given BJK a one-star review a few months ago given my experience at the onset of the work being done on my home. Since that review, the company was incredibly responsive and thoughtful in correcting the issues being encountered on the project.
Given the final results and service since then, I've updated this to a 4-star review.

BJK is a pleasure to work with. They are very responsive, show up on time and do the work expected.

BJK Masonry is the BEST!
Brendan and his crew (Connor and Esteban), did a beautiful job on restoring my chimney. Joseph, the Office Manager, was courteous and helpful.
The workmanship they provided was, professional, beautiful, and top quality.
They worked long and hard hours in the bitter cold to finish my job on time.
I am ecstatic with the results, my neighbors are impressed, and I am proud to recommend BJK masonry and restoration to everyone.
Brendan, the owner, is honest, fair, caring, and a true gentleman.
I am honored to have had him work on this project, and will always use his company for any work I need.
In these times, it is absolutely refreshing to find a hard working, dedicated, and expert company to perform tasks. Brendan, his company, and his crew, check all the boxes and meet all the criteria.
They are the BEST!

“The proof is in our mortar” is more than just a catchy tagline, as BJK stands strong on the foundations that Brendan and his family have built in Delco for generations, so that he can help you and your family build your own, both literally and figuratively.

BJK did an incredible job on our century old home! We are so thrilled with the work they did, and they made everything as easy as it can be with a project of this size and scope.

From the first consultation, Brendan was a joy to work with, and the most obvious choice, because he so clearly cares! Every step of the way I felt as though Brendan was not only invested in the work being done and his craft, but invested in us as a family and us as a community. At every opportunity he demonstrated his ability to get shit done for us while always displaying genuine concern for our wellbeing and happiness. For Brendan, “Above & Beyond” is his default. I always felt looked after, and know he will be there when we need him in the future. His team was great, especially Juan and Pedro who spent a week+ with us at the house. Super friendly, professional dudes who kicked ass every day they were here!

To give you an idea of the work completed, BJK did a major clean up of our basement/foundation and did work including:

- Square ribbon repointing & crack repairs
- A restoration of the basement walls
- Leveling and refinishing of our concrete floor
- Tiling of the basement bathroom floor

All the work looks fantastic, and our home feels structurally secure and more us than ever! To put it simply, I look forward to the next time I can call the BJK team to work on our house, and any folks in the community looking to do this kind of work owe it to yourselves to give Brendan a call.

They were very professional. They kept the work area clean and took pride in their craft. I had my retaining wall repointed and a small step repaired. Throughout the job they were available for any questions. Highly recommend.

WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH the work DONe 0n . OUR CHIMMey. It looks great. Everyone was so professional and knowledgeable. The workers were friendly mannerly and polite. We are so happy with the patio that BJK Masonry & Restoration designed and built for us. What started as what I thought would be an overwhelming project was just the opposite because of Brendan’s team. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Brendan and his team were a pleasure to work with during the entire project. Their craftsmanship is exceptional and they treat their clients great!!!

This company does quality work. The Owner was on site and sent a well experienced crew to completely refinish a large porch. Hard workers with a nice, customer oriented attitude. We would use them again.

These guys were great, did an excellent job (full house repointing). They always returned calls/emails promptly - explained everything clearly, the crew cleaned up so well every day. Neighbors have commented on how great our house looks too. Very happy!

We had a great experience with BJK. We used them to redo our walkway and were very happy with the communication and results. I even received daily update videos of the progress.

I can't say enough about Brendan and his crew. They do great work, and they stand by it. They installed a patio for us, and when we had a small issue a year later, they came out and took care of it. Very professional and personable.

My wife and I were very pleased with BJK's team and highly recommend them. They delivered excellent customer service and quality work from the estimate to completion. Will definitely use again for additional services.

We had quite a number of areas we need repaired including taking out our old front porch - made of fieldstones, brick work and pointing. Brendan came out and we walked the property and discussed options and together decided on priorities. A short while later received the bid for all of the jobs separately so I could decide on what my budget could handle. I agreed on the work and it was scheduled. The team arrived on the date agreed and worked diligently to complete each section. It was the hottest time of the year and they still worked to get the work done in the agreed timing. The work was done by skilled masons and done right. For example they removed all of the stones from the porch and took out the old masonry. Then they built the structure back up and put in the stones we had agreed on. No shortcuts - quality work by professionals. You get what you pay for in this area and BJK provided a great service and a great result. I will use them on future projects absolutely.

I can’t say enough good of this company. They are transparent, efficient, and do excellent work. I was amazed at how good it looked after they removed a through wall air conditioner! You would never know the unit was there in the first place. Would highly recommend.

BJK Masonry & Restoration did a fabulous job on my mother-in-laws Donna Spataro’s home.
He did excellent work on repairing my chimney, windows ceils and brick work. The Owners very nice people to work with. Will definitely use them again.

BJK Masonry is an excellent company. I have a 220 year old farmhouse and Brendan and his team provided timely, careful, and comprehensive restoration services. Pleasure to work with them. They truly understand the industry.

The crew from BJK Masonry were timely, friendly, and very detailed in cleaning up after completion of job. They made it easy to come out and get quoted and even discussed options. BJK provided updates with quotes/scheduling/invoicing etc along the entire process. I would certainly use them again!
