AMAZING CREW! Jake is a very respectable and hard working young man. His morals and work ethic is not of this generation! Jake and his crew came out to my farm, after a bad wind storm, to look at a GIANT oak tree that snapped and was dangerously overhanging one of my barns. Do to the complicated and dangerous scenario, I was unable to use a machine or fell the tree myself. Jake came out immediately, we discussed my options, gave me a very fair price, and they returned the next day. Jake and his crew was very meticulous in the process to ensure the safety of my barn and his crew. The tree was safely cut and on the ground within a day. I can’t express my gratitude for this young man enough. He is a very strong Christian and serves the Lord in His daily walk with Christ.

We contacted West Penn Tree Service in April of 2023 in need of extensive work. We had over 22 evergreen trees that needed removed. Blight had attacked them and several had partially fallen over due to high winds in the past few months. There were also 2 huge deciduous trees (over 90 ft in height) that needed a significant amount of pruning.
Ken answered the phone when we called and we were really grateful that he came out the next day to look at the job. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and said he would email a bid. The next day we received a detailed bid, as promised.
He and his crew arrived right around 8 AM as promised and spent about 12 hours on the job. This was a challenging job. Many of the evergreens were close to our shed, and one of the decidious tree's trunks (about 15 inches in diameter) was over the neighbor's fence. The work was completed without any problems!
All of the workers were respectful, professional and hard working. We were impressed that Ken was open to last minute changes, and also by the very meticulous clean up by his crew.

We would not hesitate to recommend West Penn Tree Service for anyone in need of a tree service company. We will definitely have them back for any future work.

These guys are the best! Called them for a big tree in my front yard that had cracked in a wind storm and was in danger of taking out my power line. Jake was at my house that afternoon, gave me an estimate and had his crew there the next morning. The work they did was excellent! Cleaned up all of the branches and leaves, and even cut the logs up for me for my wood burner! 10/10 would recommend to everyone from now on!

I contacted West penn tree service to do some trimming of two big white pines...it was amazing watching them work and maneuver the branches that they were cutting off so they wouldn't hit my 6 foot fence...they did an excellent job and cleaned everything up afterwards ...I would recommend them ...Thanks Ken and Jack and the rest of their team for a job well done.

West Penn Tree Service did me a huge solid today. I had a pine tree that was lifting out of the ground and about to go crashing into my neighbors house and they came out immediately and gave me a very reasonable quote to remove 3 trees. The crew showed up a little while after and worked quickly and safely to bring the trees down, and took good care of my property and were very careful. The crew are wonderful and talented at what they do. They also gave me a very reasonable quote to remove a few more dead trees on my property that would’ve fallen soon too, and will come back soon to remove all the stumps. Highly recommend!

I hired West Penn Tree Services to cut down four very large trees on my property. The trees had to be cut and dropped from the top down to prevent damage on my neighbors property and my property. It was clearly apparent that safety was first, great communication was observed between each crew member, evaluations were conducted prior to cutting and dropping the trees, and they did a great job cleaning up my backyard. West Penn Tree Service’s crew are very hard workers and great guys. I would defiantly recommend West Penn Tree Services to my friends, family and neighbors.

I had several companies come look at this enormous tree that we just needed gone from our yard. We had just bought our house and we had plans with the backyard and this tree was in the way. Jake came over and gave us a great estimate. He also broke down why the estimate was what it was. When the day came around that they showed up to do the job, Jake explained step by step what they were going to do and what to expect. They did everything he said they would and then some. They left the yard spotless and you wouldn’t be able to tell there was a crew earlier in the day doing work taking down an enormous tree. I’ve referred them to a couple of friends who were just as pleased. I can’t say enough about this company. Not only are they skilled in what they do, but their soft skills are on point and make you feel comfortable with the entire process. West Penn Tree Service removed mtwo trees for me and dud an excellent job for removal and clean up.

I called after experiencing some damage to a tree that was going to need attention... The guys stopped by and texted me a quote which was very fair and I approved... 15 minutes later the tree fell down! I called and they were able to come by later the same day and remove the trees and by the time I got home from work it was like the trees were never there!!!! These guys are Amazing!

West Penn Tree Service was great to work with. I had a pretty large area to clear, with a dozen plus large trees, numerous small trees and many bushes. Ken came out quickly to look it over and Julie sent out a very competitive quote in a day or two. They started work about 2 weeks later. Ken's sons led the crew and they were very easy to work with. After the first day, I added stump grinding to the scope of work. They updated the quote that night and performed the extra tasks the next day. Over all a great experience, highly recommend. I will use them again for my future tree needs.

West Penn Tree Service removed 2 dead trees for us yesterday. They were extremely responsive and professional through the entire process, from returning our original call and providing a quote to the actual work and clean up. One of the trees was located near power lines and between the houses. Watching them rope off and take that tree down, one piece at a time was amazing. At the finish of the project, the only evidence was the two patches in the lawn that need to be seeded. Great job to the entire team. Thank you.
