Just had a great experience working with West Penn Trees. Needed a large number of trees taken down (40+) . The team was fast friendly and very experienced. They were open to on the fly scope changes and very fair in their pricing. I have rarely seen a team work so well and efficiently together and seemed to be having fun despite the 90degree heat and large scope of work.

If you need tree work done this is a great company to do business with!!!

Just finished second project to take down a very large rotting cherry tree requiring the use of an 80 foot bucket lift(photos attached). Once again they delivered a fast, safe, and affordable tree removal. This team is awesome

West Penn Tree Service cut down 14 trees for me. I had a great experience with them and plan to use them for another round of trees in the future. They were very easy to work with. The crew was timely, hard working, safe, kind, and courteous. These types of crews and companies don't exist much anymore. I can't say enough positive things about them. They not only did everything that was agreed upon but also left my property looking better than they found it. This is the type of company others should strive to be like.

We were getting ready to leave for vacation the evening of Nov 5th when a storm rolled through with very high winds taking out our large tree in our front yard. We reached out immediately to West Penn Tree Service and they were there and had completed the tree removal by 9 am the following morning. They were extremely efficient and professional and left our yard looking clean and free of any leaves or branches. We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a tree service company.

West Penn Tree Service really came through for me when I was in a jam! I called them on a Thursday at 12:30pm, and by 4:30pm the same day they were already at my house giving me a quote. By 8am Saturday morning (the company’s “day off”) the crew showed up, and by 1:30 in the afternoon they had a HUGE maple tree cut down, the stump completely ground out, and the yard cleaned up so well it looked like the tree had never even been there.

These guys were amazing to watch. They were kind, polite, hardworking young men who worked together like a well-oiled machine. They didn’t waste a single second, but they also made sure everything was done safely and with care. What really impressed me was how respectful they were of my property, and how spotless they left everything.

On top of that, the pricing was fair and honest, the communication was clear, and they made the whole process stress-free. It’s rare to find a company like West Penn Tree Service. They are fast, professional, and genuinely pleasant to work with all at once.

This experienced crew worked efficiently and did the best cleanup! They took away all debris and neatly stacked the logs as Requested. All interactions from proposal to completion were professional and timely. I will definitely be using their service again.

West Penn tree service came to my house 1st thing in the morning. I had a tree fall in my front yard and was heading out of town that night. They remove the tree and had it cleaned up in approximately 1 1/2 hours. My neighbors were impressed that it was removed and cleaned up that quickly with us not even being in town. Our yard was left in pristine condition.I would highly recommend West Penn Tree Service.

I had two very large pine trees that I needed cut down. West Penn Tree service did some precise work around a few obstacles, in some not so great weather. Everyone was so nice and they did a fantastic job, they were professional and did what I asked.

West Penn Tree Service is amazing. I observed them removing my neighbor's fallen tree. The tree fell around 8 pm one night recently during a big wind storm. When I came out the next morning, West Penn Tree Service was already at their property at 8 am. I was shocked. They were so professional, quick, clean, and courteous. I watched how diligent they were. They laid down items on the ground so they would not tear up the grass with their tractors. And they cleaned everything up so meticulously. They were gone by 8:45 am. I did let them know that I thought they did an amazing job and they were super polite. While I did not hire them for this job, after observing them in action, I know I will in the future. And right after this job, I recommended them to friends in the area.

True arborists. They don't top/butcher trees like most tree companies do. If you care for your trees, call these folks.

Called twice to have them help my tree that was dying fast...needed
advice and noone helped. No call backs...I called again and they said to send pictures of my tree to their email for them to look at it cause they were not going to be in my area for a while...never heard back. My tree died. Will never recommend them to anyone who cares for their trees. You will receive no help.

The arborist was very knowledgeable and took his time explaining to me on what we could do to save our dogwood tree. He also gave me some good on the spot tips for some of my other shubery..

Great company. 100++ years as a US-owned family company, and 50+ years as a local business in Irwin. Cares for their employees and clients. Knowledgeable and effective. Bartlett CARES FOR TREES and your landscape, not like other tree companies who just chop off branches and leave trees ugly and unhealthy. (P.S. Topping Trees KILLS them!)

I tried multiple times to get an estimate since February. I would get a call and they would tell me they are going to email it to me but I would never receive it. I called them, sent them messages on messenger and finally I got a message on messenger saying, "While we do provide tree removals as service we are more valued for tree preservation. You may want to check in with a tree removal focused company." The man who came to my house to do the quote never said anything like this to me. He seemed very kind and really realed me in to their company. I don't know why you would waste someones time and even come for a quote for a removal if you don't want to do removals. I am FRUSTRATED beyond words. I finally got a quote today that was so beyond unreasonable that it doesn't even compare to any quotes I've gotten. It was apparent that they didn't want the job and they were so over priced they knew that they wouldn't be chosen. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY & as a local business owner I recommend you shop around to local businesses that want the job!

Bartlett was great! We had a little difficulty getting scheduled (they are busy) but they did a marvelous job. Our oaks look *so* much happier now, and they even left our yard a little cleaner than they found it. I will definitely use them again.
