This is the second year I have used Professional Landscaping Services for removal of brush, small trees, mulching and planting grass. I couldn’t be happier with the responsiveness in providing a quote and preforming the work. It is nice to be able to ask for guidance on what to do and trust the advice to be in my best interest at a fair price. The crew was great and knocked my job out in one day what would have taken me weeks to accomplish. Attached photos of removal of a crabapple tree that wasn’t healthy and a danger to the power line, weed & poison ivy removal, mulching and seeding. Can’t wait to actually see my burning bush this fall.

These guys are great! We tried other companies in the area and these folks outshine the others by far. You should never use anyboby else.

We did a major upgrade of our backyard in 2010 and we dealt with Pat Douds, the owner. We were very pleased with both his suggestions and their work. Unfortunately, Pat is no longer with the business. It has been over 10 years since the work was done and we now need some other work completed. We contacted them in the early fall to have then come to see what we wanted to be done and then to do the work. When we called, the answering machine said that they were booked for 2020 but if we left a message, they would get back to us. After numerous calls on our part, they finally did get in touch with us and said when they were in our area, someone would stop. (We live only 20 minutes from their office.) Eventually, someone did stop and we reviewed everything we wanted done. He said Douds would let us know when they could begin. It has been 3 or 4 months since the person was here and we have heard nothing. We called again this year. The phone has the same message.We left another message and they still haven't returned our call. They have given us no choice but to move on!

Mike Douds and his crew were exceptional in implementing the plans we had designed for our backyard ( thank you Kimberly Leja Martinez @ Living Spaces), which included both hardscaping and landscaping. We are very pleased with the construction of stairs, redesign of an existing retaining wall, patio, gas firepit and grill area.Our desired plans and timelines were met with efficiency and consistent communication throughout the process. The attention to detail is top of the line.The landscaping is exactly as we asked and the Douds crew were very pleasant to work with. Highly, highly recommend!

The crew that came to our house were extremely polite and friendly. It was very nice to know some of them and be able to relate to those we didn't know directly. They knew their jobs and got it done all the while respecting the questions we may have posed to them. I learned some things from them and appreciate that they took the time to explain things to me. I am so thankful that I choose Doud's Brothers to build my retaining wall. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and their workmanship was the very best. I would recommend them very highly.

Mike came to look at our backyard and gave us a quick turnaround on a quote with a detailed drawing of his ideas. We needed a retaining wall to open up a backyard space around an already existing space with two different cement pads. He chose stone and colors that tied everything together! The first drawing had a few things we wanted to change and he incorporated those. Mike is easy to reach and talk to. His company worked hard and were kind. They did a terrific job on clean up and final touches too. The end result was terrific. It is a joy to walk out and see our beautiful yard.

We just had some landscaping work done (5/14/24) Mike came to give us an estimate on fixing some work that another contractor did after repairing a septic system. The septic contractor left our yard an absolute disaster. Douds crew came in and fixed everything that was left unfinished. They finished our French drain, completely leveled the yard, took away clay, brought in fresh topsoil, and seeded. These guys worked fast, was Very thorough. I also want to point out the crew was very polite and respectful of the property. Companies like this are hard to find these days. I definitely recommend them as we will use them again should any other landscaping projects come up.

Did awesome work on my back retaining wall. Mike and the whole team were incredibly easy to work with and went above and beyond every step of the project. Would be happy to have them back for any additional landscaping or retaining wall work. I’ve dealt with a number of contractors over the last year and Douds stands out as being the best of the best.
