These guys are superb! Several years ago, my 35+ year old oil burner, "maintained" by a large oil supplier, had a "puff back" that emitted soot that rose 2 floors. In this emergency a friend suggested Harrold Oil. Brothers Eddie and Joe Harrold turned around a disastrous situation and assured me the old burner had years of life left, and it has! The old Weil-McLain heater ran has run reliably and at max design efficiency ever since. This business, family run for 50 - 60 years, has excellent mechanics, reliable maintenance and delivery, very competitive prices and honesty that's rare these days. When it's time to replace it I'll buy the new one from E.J. Harrold Inc..

I cannot express my gratitude enough for this company. They installed a hot water heater that I thought was leaking. They came out promptly and determined it was the water meter, not the tank. It’s was Aqua’s problem. Tim couldn’t have been nicer and didn’t even charge me. Who does that anymore? They are the best for sure!

My heater wasn't working, and my house was cold. I called Haab, and was told," we are only taking care of our CONTRACTED customers right now. The soonest we could see you would be Tuesday" What???
I called Harrold, and someone came in 30 mins!!!
The technician needed a part which he didn't have on hand..no problem!! Another rep for the company drove it over! Inspection of entire system, repair, and installation of a new thermostat took 1 hour. I am sitting comfortably in my warm house.
Guess who's getting my contract for service now??(Hint:it will never be Haab!)

My mother and family have dealt with this company for years and have always received nothing but the best courteous service you could ask for. Joe and his son have done repairs for my moms air conditioner and always saved her money. this is a great organization to deal with. She was a senior and didn't always understand what Joe was talking about but he always took good care of her. thank you Joe

My oil furnace stopped working, and E.J. Harrold was able to come out on the same day to resolve the issue. They were very polite about it, and the bill was also reasonable. They've made a loyal customer out of me. I highly recommend them.

My furnace was damaged during a power surge and two HVAC companies told me I would have to replace it due to its age (1996) at $10, 000. Something I couldn’t afford to do at the time. I called EF Harrold for in a “Hail Mary” and not only did they fixed it, they had all the parts in stock and on the truck! The tech was extremely knowledgeable and was very professional. Parts and labor was just 5% the cost of a new furnace. I also had them do an annual service cleaning and maintenance. The tech suggested upgrading to a newer fuel nozzle because it would significantly reduce my fuel consumption!

Highly recommend this company. And when it comes time to replace my furnace, I know who I’ll be calling.

EJ Harrold has been servicing my oil furnace in my 1800s home since I moved in in 2005 (and they helped the previous owners too). They are polite, quick, reasonably priced, and always there right away when there's an emergency. They are straight shooters and very honest. They are 10 stars out of 5!!!!

The Regniers have installed systems in our previous home, and our current home. They are very professional, they give reasonable prices, all of their employees are knowledgeable and hard-working. If we ever have another house that needs HVAC we will definitely use them again. In our previous row home in Philly they installed central heat and air and left the ducts exposed to save us money (we framed them ourselves). In our current house, they removed our radiators, put in high velocity duct work, hooked it up to our current boiler, did two systems with three zones. The way they installed it, there are no exposed ducts, even though our house is old with plaster and not a lot walls to put ducts in. There was a small issue a couple months after and they promptly stopped by and fixed it.

We have been using Rich and his crew for 28 years and three houses. We have recommended him to all our family members who also use him now. Doesn’t try and up sell you and explains how and where to spend your money to get the best value.
