Okay. I didn't get any work done-"yet", however; Mr. AVAKIAN did give me and my family great advice on how to sus out my problem, what he would do, how he charges, and some questions to ask another electrician. He couldn't get to me due to being in the middle of having work done on his house and having to be there while the work was being done. He did say that I'd U needed him he would be more than willing to help out- although he is booked into March 2022. I would use him in the future. He seemed friendly, professional, knowledgeable in his field, and on the up and up.

Greg was so kind, he told me how to solve my electrical problem without a service call. If the fix that I could do safely myself hadn’t worked, he would have come out. I don’t know anyone
else who would have done that.

Called Greg the other day about some changes we wanted in the house. Came by this morning and did fantastic work. Not only does he do great work, he takes incredible pride in how it looks too. Added bonus is he is hands down the nicest contractor we have ever encountered.

When I was looking for an electrician to do a full house rewire/knob and tube removal, I must have contacted 10+ electricians in Philadelphia. Most didn't even get back to me, or barely wrote a complete sentence in reply.

Greg wasn't available to do the work I needed, but not only did he get back to me, he also provided detailed information and advice tailored to my situation. He sent me several informational articles (that he had written himself) about knob and tube and related issues. He also answered several follow-up questions that I had. And he suggested another electrical company to me, which I ended up hiring (and they did a great job!).

I've also seen Greg on social media, generously offering substantial free advice to other people who were having electrical problems, without asking for anything in return or engaging in self-promotion. He seems extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his trade and genuinely interested in helping other people even when there is no financial gain for him. I would've hired him in a heartbeat if he had been available when I needed electrical work, and I would not hesitate to hire him if I need other work done in the future.

Great electrician -- an even better guy! I had a minor electrical emergency and called Greg based on his top rating on Y e lp. It was late Saturday night and he called me back right away ... from his vacation two thousand miles away! He took the time to give me some good advice and I can't thank him enough. If I ever need an electrician in the future, Greg is my guy. Highly recommended.

Greg is just the best. I've learned so much about the way my house works from Greg - he is super knowledgable and so generous in sharing that knowledge. And not only is he a fantastic electrician, he's an incredibly nice human, too. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Greg is fantastic! When I first contacted Greg for a quote, he called me back while he was on a vacation. Greg didn't need to do this, but it shows the dedication that he has for his customers. During the entire lead up process, Greg provided prompt responses, in addition to detailed information about the work that he would perform. We needed to upgrade our panel as we were having AC installed in our house, and when I was getting conflicting information from the AC folks, Greg took to the time to speak directly to them, which was a big help to me (someone who has no knowledge on this topic). When the work was being performed, Greg called me each morning to let me know when he was on the way, and would show me the work being performed, and give me an explanation of what he was doing. I am extremely satisfied with Greg's work and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs Electrical work.

Greg is an upstanding and thoughtful professional. I emailed him about what I thought was an innocuous electricity issue after hours on a Friday. Greg called me back on Sunday. He told me on the front end that he couldn't take the job because he was fully booked for a while out, but he was concerned about some of the issues I had mentioned in my email and wanted to talk me through it.

He spent more than 30 minutes on the phone with me (on his only day off!!) explaining how my electrical system works, what could be causing the issues, and why that could be a serious problem. He knew he wouldn't make any money on the call, yet he took time out of his day because he was concerned about my safety. And he explained everything, from the basics of electricity to the specifics of the issue I was experiencing, patiently and clearly. And it turns out he correctly diagnosed just over the phone!

We're lucky to have an electrician like Greg in our community.

As a first time homeowner, finding a trustworthy professional to work on your home is a huge priority. We found this in Greg. When we called him on a Sunday due to a light flickering issue, he spoke with us for 15 minutes about what he thought the issue was. He was able to come out the next day, and he spent 6 hours correcting the problem. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I'm so glad we found someone that can help with projects in the future!

Greg is responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He has provided me with detailed electrical consultations on my historic home by phone, photograph, and text message on multiple occasions. And all out of the goodness of his heart in trying to educate people on the importance of quality electrical work, because I unfortunately live outside of the area he services in person. I only wish I could use Greg’s services for the electrical work on my home because we have had so much trouble finding someone to do the work properly. Greg is an incredible electrician specifically and human being generally. My wife and I go to Greg for all of our electrical needs whenever we can. He is patient, knowledgeable, and runs his trade with a level of honesty and integrity that is hard to find. By way of example, Greg recently helped us in a situation (over the weekend no less), then told us it wasn't a big deal and we should donate to a good cause instead. Amazing. I don't know the first thing about electricity, so it's such a relief to work with someone so honest and upstanding as Greg!

Greg is the best contractor with whom we worked! Knowledgeable, honest, and fair! He investigated an outage in our house meticulously!

I highly recommend Justin. He was extremely responsive and came out to restore our power - after business hours - within 15 minutes after we had called him. He charged us a very fair rate, was very professional and a was also a super nice guy. Tavella Electric will be my first and only call for any electrical services I may need in the future.

Can’t say enough good things about the level of service that Justin provided. He came out to look at a breaker but ended up also fixing a loose ceiling fan while he was here. He thoroughly explained what all he needed to do and made sure that it was done right. If you’re looking for a fair, friendly, and efficient electrician he’s your guy!

I just want to personally say thank you Justin for the emergency service you provided me today.. My chandelier required repair as it loosen and came down and it was hanging from the wire. It freaked me out..

He was able to come out today and take care of the work although he had a full day already..

I had an electrical fault occur and I called 3 places. 2 were told to make an appointment (which I did) and a missed call from Justin. But he called back after a couple of hours and asked if I could send him photos. After seeing the photos of the "glowing orange" he called me back immediately saying he and his staff are coming to look at it. Because he can't go to bed without checking it out. He ran a new wire to temporarily fix the fault and also educated me and recommended what my next steps should be.

My family is grateful for what Justin & his staff did. It's more than a service but a wholesome human being. I would hire them in a heartbeat if it's within their capacity.

Justin is awesome -- he installed a (confusing) thermostat for radiant floor heat for us. He responded quickly, was on time, and walked us through each step of the installation. He was extremely pleasant to talk to. Great electrician, great guy!

Justin is awesome! Very professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. Got back to me very fast, and knew exactly what the problem with my electrics was. And he was willing to come fix the issues after hours!

My kitchen circuit breaker kept tripping and all of my appliances were off for hours, including the fridge. Justin took my call, and despite having a full schedule of appointments, he squeezed me into his schedule that day and solved the issue given the inconvenience I was facing. He explained the costs upfront and also discussed the issues as he saw them onsite, showing me the exact blown outlet box that caused the issue. He was quick and thorough, and just about as pleasant of a serviceperson as you could ask for. Will definitely use again and recommend to others. Excellent experience.
