Phil and Tom did a great job installing a new boiler! They installed quick and were very knowledgeable. Phil even kept us warm with some heaters while we waited! 🔥

throughout the whole process highly recommend. FYI our home is almost 100 years old and this was a big complex job.

We were looking to replace a broken furnace and old A/C in our home and reached out to several contractors for estimates.

With other contractors we found either a very aggressive sales push (e.g., "we only have 2 left, you have to act now") or others who took a long time to get back to us.

J&M on the other hand was very responsive to all of our inquiries and seemed genuinely focused on our well being. When considering all factors (price, warranty, equipment) they came out on top. And after seeing their reviews on yp.com and bbb.org, it was clear there was no one else close.

The work was done on time and on schedule without any hiccups. Phil and Tom who own J&M did all of the work themselves, and everything was done with great quality.

Very pleased with the service we received from J&M and relieved we now have a properly working HVAC system for year-round comfort.

Had Phil and Tom over to replace our boiler after moving in and finding the original boiler dangerous to operate. Phil and his team were able to provide a solid estimate and work timeframe which they performed quickly and professionally. Will definitely use J and M for our cooling come spring!

Phil has been doing this work for a long time and was much better at explaining things than a salesman from a competing company. His quote was also several thousand dollars lower. He was punctual, reliable, and respectful of our home. He even filled out all the paperwork for our PECO rebate, so all we have to do is send it in. Our only criticism is that he didn't let us know that they can't take credit cards until the day before payment was due--and then only because we asked.

We had used J and M Heating now twice. Installing two separate heating and ac units. They are professional, knowledgeable, courteous and on time. Their work is done in a responsible time line and keep the areas of the house clean.
We’re we very happy with their work. We will continue to have them inspect our units each season.

My 90 year old parents, with a myriad of health issues, had water coming out of their ac unit in the basement, with air constantly running and temp going up instead of down. Called around 9am and Phil came out at 10:45am. He texted me when he would be there and was there when he said he'd be there. He was so respectful of my parents and went straight to work. It's an old system. It was frozen with thick ice and he held a hair dryer for awhile trying to speed up the ice melting so he could get to the repairs. He then made the repairs and it is up and running again. We so appreciated him. He was responsive, punctual, kind, and respectful. And fairly priced. I would use him again and highly recommend his company.

Our old furnace/AC units needed replacing. Phil got back to me quickly, was at the house within an hour to give a quote, and never stopped being incredibly responsive the entire time working with him. Both Phil and Tom are very considerate in explaining what they’re doing and why. I’m so glad I went with their company for such a big job.

These guys are 10 stars. They were incredibly responsive and spent a lot of time diagnosing and designing our ductwork repairs to ensure they addressed the multiple issues we had. Our HVAC hasn't worked this well since we built the house 18 years ago. I was also please with how quickly they were able to schedule the job (within days). Phil and Tom got right to work at 8a and finished everything up in 1 day! If you're looking for high quality at a fair price - These are your guys.

Phil was prompt and professional. Our old system was not working properly and he came out to give us an estimate on a new one. I had an estimate in hand before he left that day. When we called to place the order with him, he assured my husband that if our current one stopped working they would try to get it up and running until the new one came, or bring heaters in while waiting. This was a relief as we were in the middle of a large snow storm! Everything arrived within a week and was installed in a timely manner. Phil said he would be out in the spring when we start up the AC to make sure things run smoothly. The install process was very clean as they laid tarps down to ensure things were not tracked in and out with the snow. We can't thank Phil enough!

We had a new AC system installed this past week. They are professional, prompt and honest! They did the install when promised and left the work area immaculate. We have used J & M in the past for service and they always showed up on time and over delivered. We highly recommend Phil! It is so nice to use a local business!

Phil was not only professional but prompt. I called him for an estimate and I had it in my hand the same day he came out to see what we needed. He promptly ordered all equipment as soon as we said we were ready to go. He communicated well and everything was ready to be installed within a week of placing the order. Everything was installed in a very timely manner! They made sure nothing was tracked in with all the snow and mud we had outside. Phil said he will be out in the spring to make sure everything is working properly with the new AC system. We can't thank him enough.

Phil and Tom did an outstanding job installing my A/C unit and ductwork in a difficult install. Vertical clearance and headroom in my basement is limited and the incomplete ductwork that was in the house required many adjustments. Frankly, most contractors were not interested in doing the job because of the customization and effort required. J&M did an excellent job of making and installing custom ductwork so that headroom was maintained. A very clean, neat, timely and professional install overall with no surprises was completed within a week of the start date. You can tell that both Phil and Tom have a great deal of experience. The unit that was installed operates perfectly and has no trouble keeping up with the outside heat. I thank Phil and Tom for a job well done and could not recommend them more highly.

Phil and Tom did a great job at my house with my big switch over from oil to natural gas. They replaced some ducts, added additional return vents, installed a brand new heater, and installed brand new central A/C as well. It was a big job and they did it all very promptly and professionally. I highly recommend them. Not to mention they gave us a very reasonable price and even printed out all the paperwork I needed to mail in to get the PECO rebates for our fuel switch. If you hire J&M you won't be disappointed.

I recently contacted J & M Heating and Cooling after my water heater started to malfunction. Phil answered my call and came to my home the same morning to assess the situation. He educated me on the type of heater, provided feedback on available brands, and gave me a clear estimate for parts and labor. Phil was knowledgeable, prompt, and friendly.
